Sure, you join his mini but totally ignore the signups for my game on GB. :sniff: I didn't ignore you at all - but I'm trying to step back a bit and not play more than 1-2 "big" games at a time. You could always sub me in, if you need that after the Pollux-game has ended, you do know that, right? It wouldn't be the same. Besides we have a no subs rule. It's not a bad thing that people are trying to keep themselves more focused. Oh and, I just read the setup for this game. Y'all are screwed, and the setup is hillarious.

I've seen Happy Frood and Hoppy Frood among others, but never Hoopy Food. Oh, and one more rule (or more appropriately, clarification): Being that this is a small game, I will not modkill for editing of posts. However, editing is strongly discouraged, and should anyone do so, I wholeheartedly encourage the rest of the game to lynch you.

Incidently, are there convenient tags for mod?
What times and time zone are we using for start and end of days?

Incidently, are there convenient tags for mod? What times and time zone are we using for start and end of days?We will be using Central Daylight Time (i.e. GMT - 5). As far as times, I'm thinking 9 A.M. Unless someone really wants it at another time. Understand that since I'll be at work during the week at that time, I might be a little late getting Dawn/Dusk up. It won't change the schedule though.

Well, if it's 9am I won't be able to make almost any deadline. Is there a better time? I fairly open to the deadlines, so whatever works best for all concerned is fine with me. If you all want to put times that work best for you feel free. (It shouldn't be too late due so as not to disadvantage TL and any other European types.) Oh, and I don't recall if I mentioned this before, and I'm too lazy to look, but there will be no night actions taken by anyone toNight.

In my games I try to make the deadlines in the afternoon, like 3pm Eastern. That way it's noon for the west coasters, 8pm for the Brits (Britons?) and 9pm for Ulla...typically accessible times all around! If you do 9am Central it'd be 10am for me which is fine, but 6am for the west coast (probably when everyone's asleep).
So I guess I'm trying to say that I suggest an afternoon deadline.

If no one has any objections, will make 3PM Central the deadline (at 4 PM I'm driving home from work, so unless you guys want your dawns and dusks late 3 will have to be the time.) So for now, Day 1 will begin 3 P.M. CDT on Monday since everyone has confirmed.

Well, my work schedule is 430am-930am EST five days a week. Sometimes I stick around to work 8 hour shifts if the work is available, but that I play by ear depending on what I have going on that day. So if it was 9CST/10EST, I would be able to get home in time (if I left right at 930am), but I wouldn't have a good chance to get caught up on the stuff that happened in the morning while I was at work.
Also, if it's that early, I don't see much last minute scrambling happening, which is beneficial, but could hurt us if we need to change votes due to claims late the previous day.
3pm CST is fine by me, or anytime thereabouts. Noon EST probably being the earliest.

Since there are no objections, Day 1 starts at 3 P.M. CDT tomorrow.

So here's the list:
1. texcat 2. FCOD 3. sirsam972 4. BillMC 5. MiteyMouse 6. hockeyguy8435 7. Special Ed 8. gryff 9. Total Lost
And I got from the previous posts that there's some sort of clever "bastard mod" twist to the game which changes it up on a fundamental level? But it doesn't involve the host lying?
Does anyone have any idea what that might involve via their game PM? Mine doesn't offer any clues.
If not, I guess we'll have to wait until something odd happens to figure that all out.
Until then, ##VOTE: special ed randomly. This is a quick game we've only got two days we've gotta get movin!

As an appropriate response to that random vote against me, allow me to select a random entry from Wikipedia Voluntary disclosure agreementFrom Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In the United States, a Voluntary Disclosure Agreement (VDA),is a program whereby taxpayers can receive certain benefits from proactively disclosing prior period tax liabilities in accordance with a binding agreement. Most states offer Voluntary Disclosure Agreements to encourage companies to comply with a states tax laws and in turn generate revenue for the state that it may not have had if the company did not come forward and disclose its liabilities. Additionally, the state can generate future revenue by having a company register in their state to collect and remit certain taxes. ~~~~~~~~~ I have no idea what might be different about this particular game, but with the small number of players, I assume we'll quickly find out

Current Votes:
Special Ed (1): sirsam972
As of now, Special Ed will be lynched at Dusk.
Also, I didn't mention how No Lynch will work, should you choose it. In order for a No Lynch to occur, No Lynch must have the majority of votes. If No Lynch ties with a player, the player will be lynched (i.e. even if No Lynch reached the tie number first, the player will still be lynched, this is the exception to the "first player to number" rule).

Technically, it's not an exception, since no lynch isn't playing. Ya know, come to think of it would be gastard to put a role called "No Lynch" in the game, wouldn't it? But I didn't do that. (*Makes mental note for future Gastard games to add a role called "No Lynch"*) Anyway, updated vote count: Current Votes:Special Ed (1): sirsam972 Total Lost (1): Special Ed As of now, Special Ed will be lynched at Dusk.

Vote: No lynch for now. Maybe we should try not lynching a townie on the first day.
But it's tempting to give Ed my vote for finding what must be one of the most boring wikipedia entries ever.

This is much quieter than I expected so far. Day 1 voting is hard as there is little to no information to go on. What we need to do is get infomation in one way or another. I never read a game where it was determined that a day 1 no lynch was beneficial to town, all it does is give the mafia a free kill overnight. This method reduces the amount of information we get, even if it kills a town member. Bad Texcat. Random votes will give us some information, but are also an excellent way to vote using information others may not have. I never really liked it, though given it is day 1 I will assume it will be changed once Special Ed has some more information. Without any real discussion I would tend to consider a lurker, if only to tempt them to speak, though my thoughts keep coming back to no lynch being anti-town. For now I will vote; Vote: texcat
