and another question. since we seem to have more than our usual number of first timers (at least to this board) do we spend the first day(s) going over the standard crap or assume that everyone read the syllabus? As the newbs have probably noticed, Peeker is our resident grump. He's harmless, unless he is scum of course. Now I'm surprised you'd forget the terrifying prospect of Peeker being the vig. I personally think there's some frackin' treasure underneath the estate and some stupid group is after it going about it in the most roundabout manner possible like a group of retards. Just like always.

I think this game should start with a presumption that Romanic and Guiri are scummy scum, and make them prove their innocence. Why haven't I seen a claim from either of you, hmmm?

but guiri. what happens if the person tied for first first with the person tied for first second then moves to second first (or second - i don't think it matters) with the person tied for first second but then moves back first second after the person who was tied for first second who moves back to second (either first or second) and then back to first first?

I think this game should start with a presumption that Romanic and Guiri are scummy scum, and make them prove their innocence. Ha! Isn't it a common strategy to distrust everyone at the start of the game? What would that prove? Aren't unforced D1 claims null-tells? but guiri. what happens if the person tied for first first with the person tied for first second then moves to second first (or second - i don't think it matters) with the person tied for first second but then moves back first second after the person who was tied for first second who moves back to second (either first or second) and then back to first first? The person who was tied for first first still gets lynched (first)! Now, it there was a player tied for first third who was unvoted second and revoted first, I'd suggest asking in bold and green.

Clearing up two questions from here and from PMs:
1. What are Scooby Snacks for? That is something players must determine during the game.
2. The tiebreak. Well, I could have written that more clearly, couldn't I? The one lynched will be the player who is still tied for the lead who reached that level first. I was meaning to exclude the person who initially led but was unvoted. I will fix the rules.

Confirming. I've played before, but have never successfully detected a single scum, so think I should be counted among the newbies until that happens.

And the most immediate question from the opening color - where's Daphne! I hadn't noticed. Do you think it's significant? And the most immediate question from the opening color - where's Daphne! Good catch. I expect she's been kidnapped, tied up, gagged and left imprisoned yelling "Scooby-Doo! Where are you?!", as usual. Is this just typical of the cartoon? I'm really not a huge Scooby-Doo fan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Oh, and this

So, the usual stuff:
Don't hold grudges. Don't lie without a really damn good reason The more we talk, the better for town Lurking is problematic in both definition and execution and Scum Would Totally Do That.

It isn't... I already passed a ice cool beverage.... and now.... fair enough Vote: Captain Pinkies For the new players. captain Pinkies had a total of 17 posts in the most recent game: Day 1: - Drink Recipe and PM confirmation
- Comment on a Vanilla claim
- Comment on a player asking to sub out
- Comments that he doesn't participate until day 3. Another drink recipe
- Repeats that he doesn't participate until Day 3 and dtates that he isn't lazy
- Another drink recipe
- Claims he isn't lurking and posts another drink recipe
- Encourages people to vote for him if he's suspcious
- An actual comment on the game in regards to another players investigation claim
- Comments about his not making comments
- Comments on a self-preservation vote by another player
- OMGUS vote for a player who stated that CP is contributing very little.
- Denies the vote was OMGUS and another drink recipe
- ditto
- me toos another players comment
- repeats that his style is to wait and see (and his future play will really push the 'wait' aspect to its limits and anotehr drink recipe
Day 2 No posts at all. Day 3 - Claims that he thought he posed during Day 2
Yes, that was the sum total of his Day 3 contribution. The day where he really gets into the game. Having waited and seen what was going on (and a great deal did happen) Fortunately, a Vigilante took him out during Night 3. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now, this isn't unusual for Captain Pinkies. he has previously signed up for games and then posted infrequently with little contribution for the game. It might be best to wait for a Vigilante to kill him, but in the meantime, this vote allows me to express my displeasure with his participation in games recently.

I am here checking things out. Since I am a idiot and cannot read the "no post editing" rule, I cannot vote today. I see that most of you have played with each other, well psychopath games at least... ;-) I need a gaming Terminology for Dummies book...

Not being able to vote does not mean you cannot participate and while your vote will not count you can still place it when you feel you have enough information to do so. Terminology for DummiesSo the game is a foot but no one wants to get their toes wet I'd say Ed's feet are pretty soaking wet.

ok so your voting for me for actions from a previous game, wow aren't you cool.... Every game I play with you, you are a like a broken record trying to lynch me... Or encouraging others to take me out.... It makes me feel so special... And so warm and fuzzy inside....
And just so you know, I am Neville Strangeways.

And just so you know, I am Neville Strangeways. so, with 1 vote very early on Day 1, you've claimed a name? Interesting. Anyway, I encourage you and everyone else to do this: 1. Go to Captain pinkies' profile2. Where it says "view posts" look back at maybe his last 400 posts. (That way you;ll get all 327 of them) 3. Skim them. Look for content amid all the drink recipes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also, since you've brought it up, Captain, I don't recall ever really calling for your lynch, let alone every game that we've played together. To further discussion, would you care to support that accusation with facts?

To be fair, the last game I played with him we lynched him the first day, subbed him in and lynched him again so I don't know that on the basis of that game I can argue he was nonparticipatory cuz, I mean, we didn't let him participate.

Were you really taking that seriously? No. Is this just typical of the cartoon? I'm really not a huge Scooby-Doo fan. Possibly a little exaggerated (she can't yell while being gagged) but more or less typical of the cartoon. And just so you know, I am Neville Strangeways. Any relation to dead Ethel? Do you have a penchant for wandering around the hotel at night in Ethel's old clothes perhaps?
