I'd just like to point out that as an Admin that can literally set karma levels to whatever I like, I would never ever suggest that I'd use my powers to influence in-game decisions. EVER.

Ah well... Against the resources of FCoD I have little to offer, but you can have an exalt anyway. Other than that it's a bit difficult to think of anything. I'd buy you a bottle of virtual sangria if the shop were still open, but...

Too late. I said the first day I was playing capriciously and I've sent my two silly picks to Mr. B. already. BTW I have no idea what's going on.

Sinjin raises her hand pulsing with power.
Total Lost rises from the dead and comes to her side to leave with her, rejoicing in her ressurection. NAF's mind suddenly clears and he comes to Sinjin's side as well.
The three of them walk out through a wall as Sister Coyote begins laughing madly and Mitey grins at a job well done. Then Sister Coyote pulls a lever trapping MHaye and Parzival in cages. "Let's see what we can do with these specimens." She says. "Yeth Marthter." Mitey replies.
Time for the rundown everybody!!
Sister Coyote: The Mad Doctor has created a "Superman" She wins! Mitey Mouse: Igor, the mad doctor's assistant has helped create a "Superman" She wins! BillMC: The Mad patient has died and failed to keep all humans from escaping. He loses. MHaye: The Mind Flayer failed to drive enough people to insanity. He loses. Parzival: The werewolf (involuntary sk originally) failed to escape or regain his humanity. He loses. NAF: Frankenstein Monster Managed to escape but failed to kill the Mad Doctor. He gets a 50% win. Hockeyguy: Physician can rest in peace in the knowledge that his lover escaped. He wins! Sinjin: Wanderer has ascended to become a "Superman" She wins! FCOD: Protean Man was cut down just before escaping. He loses. Totallost: Blacksmith escaped alive, but can never escape her broken heart. She loses. Metallicsquink: Private Eye failed to find his intended target and was driven insane in the process. He loses. Timmyfellinthewell: Pyro almost burned enough people to satisfy his urges but was killed before the private eye could find and rescue him. He loses.
Congratulations to Sinjin, Sister Coyote, Mitey Mouse, and Hockeyguy. A hearty pat on the back to NAF. Finally miss congeniality goes to Totallost for giving a win to hockeyguy, despite her loss.

I picked the wrong mind to flay last Night. I was planning to flay Sinjin's mind, but then Parzival survived the Chair. Should have stuck to my original plan, and then I still needed another driven mad. Thanks for looking in the Box of Yog-Soggoth, everyone. And the role I wanted to see in the game, was indeed in the game. That (as any fan of the Discworld will tell you) was Igor. So close.

If someone else has their own mini set-up they want to run, they can. If someone else wants to run Karmariffic, that's fine too. But I'm not planning on running it.

actually i sorta have another set up in honor of halloween.
I'd like a co-mod though, so you could have first dibs if you want less stress and still modding ped.

The device: The device is what is used in place of lynching. At night the voted for player is placed into the device. It causes a mutation in a range from physical to mental in a precise order, with set exceptions for specific roles.
1) Mad Scientist: You win by creating the superman Actions: Chemical X, same exact result as the device but it takes until dusk the next day to occur. Invent: invent a device to aid the final goal Adjust/repair device: improve or repair a device Use device: .... .... use device Secondary actions: You have three pills. In addition to the above, you may choose to take a pill at night. Contact Subject C: In addition to all other actions, every night you may send a pm to “Subject C” You have a device linked to his mind. You were close to making him the superman, but he developed an immunity to your treatments. You hope to retain a little bit of control. Additional characteristics: If you stay in the lab (don’t administer or go out to use a device on someone) attempts to harm you will fail the first time
2) Igor: You win with the mad scientist. Completely immune to damage. You can be caused to fail an action, but it won’t hurt you. If you are investigated or revealed or if the mad scientist dies or is removed from the game in any way, you skip town (leave the game permanently) Actions: You may administer chemical x or use a device on someone. You and the doctor can administer chemical x on the same night, but the same device can only be used once per night.
3) Mad Patient: You’re crazy, cracked, batty, etc. You still function though. The townsfolk, they don’t like you, and the mad doctor made you this way. You know the way out, you can see the cracks in the walls, but you can’t leave until they’re all out of the way. Wins when the 4(6) regular townsfolk, and the doctor and the assistant are out of the way. Can not win if a townie escapes.
If Illithid attacks mad patient, mad patient gets a day action to restore sanity to a player. This can bring a player removed for insanity back, or reset the sanity meter on a current player.
Psychic interference: the doc gave you psychic powers, you can block an action completely: Psychic maze: you can cause a player to target randomly on their NA Blackout: you can hide yourself from any targeting for one night Zone: you can zone out a player the next Day, player can’t post or vote that day (hidden 2 point sanity heal, will heal, but not zone if used on same player twice) powers can not be used twice in a row.
immune to sanity damage, immune to chemical x, dies by fire, confuses Frankenstein, dies by werewolf, immune to illithid, dies in the machine
Knows: dies if put in the machine
4) Illithid: You were dragged here from occult dimensions and all you want is to flay some minds. Wins when 5(7) players have been removed due to insanity Action: Mind Flay: deals 5 sanity damage Box of Yog-soggoth: one shot 3 sanity damage to person handed to, and anyone who looks in the box Immune to sanity damage, immune to chemical x/device by mutation, but two doses kills, immune to fire, both incapacitated with Frankenstein, dies by werewolf.
5) Werewolf: depends on form, every time put in machine, or chemical x new were Wins when escapes. Super win if manages to become human and escape Wolf: mandatory vig Bat: investigator Spider: choose between vig and hiding at night, hiding has a hidden 7 point sanity cost Human: huzzah you have completed a secondary goal! Frankenstein: mutual incapacitation, Pyro: incapacitation if attacked by
6) Frankenstein: The mad doctor made you. You largely regard that as a bad idea Wins when the mad doctor dies, extra win if kills himself. Night actions: Interact, wanders to another player and interacts with them. The result is specific to the player interacted with. (will kill the doc) Reduced win: if protean and Frankenstein find each other they can escape together. (Frank must agree) Full win for protean, reduced for Frank Werewolf: mutual incapacitation, dies if attacked by fire, can handle 1 dose chemical x or machine (only 1, not 1 of each)
7) Physician: Can ease a session with the machine once per player (won’t count towards physical limit. does not mitigate any sanity costs) (has a hidden sanity cost of 1 every time it’s done) Wins if lover (the blacksmith) escapes. Super win if they both escape. Can handle 1 session with the machine/chemical x, no other immunity
8) Wanderer: Nearly ascendant creature, wins by ascending to fullest Interacts with players at night. (Needs 10 experiences to transcend) Instead of interacting with someone can meditate (counts as an experience the first time it’s done only, has a hidden sanity heal) Any attacking action done the first time counts as an experience and does no harm. If it’s repeated, however, it will succeed Wanderer Ascension: allows two living players of his choice to escape.
9) Protean: The doctors lost experiment. Wanders to a player at night. Special win: find Frankenstein, convince him to escape with you Minor win: become the “superman” If interacts with pyro, illithid, or werewolf, will die Immune to sanity damage unless from illithid, becomes superman after 4 doses of machine/chemical x Protean Ascension: Kills one player, frees one player
10) Blacksmith: Resilient Wins when lover (physician) escapes, super win if both escape Can take two machine/chemical x Survives one visit by werewolf, dies on second, dies by pyro, befriends frank
11) Investigator: Wins by escaping with target (pyro) Investigates a player each night, can investigate the dead/insane. Cannot win unless he finds his target dead or alive. Pyrrhic victory: escapes without finding target Minor win: escapes with evidence from dead or recalcitrant target (may escape night after finding target) Full win: finds target alive, target goes with him (Pyro can not leave until he’s killed three people with fire)
Dies by machine/chemical x, dies by werewolf, blocked by Frankenstein, high sanity threshold, however gets sanity damage when investigating certain people
12) Pyro: likes to burn things Night action: attempt to burn someone alive Wins by escaping, but only after burning three people alive. can escape with investigator after this, If escapes via endgame before burning three people alive, loses Scares away Frank, dies by anything else
13) Graverobber: Wins by escaping with three part artifact. reduced win if escaped without it Arrowhead made from a stone forged in the heat of a volcano Stone tablet with insane carvings in it The blood of a nearly ascendant creature
Robs graves at night: May pick any dead player and loot their body. can be ambushed by the ghoul High sanity level, however hidden sanity cost for robbing graves. 2 point sanity heal, if waits out a night dies by Frank, dies by werewolf, dies by fire, can take 2 chemX/machine
14) Ghoul: Wins by escaping Must feed on the dead every night. (4 extra corpses to start with) exception, may play dead one night, without feeding, shows up as a fake death in the morning, resurrects next Day. Kills anyone who interacts with his “dead” body Hides from frank, dies by wolf. Can take two chemX/machine, can survive one fire. Gains no benefit from physician, takes 2 sanity damage from priest
15) Priest: Gradiated win based on how many townies escape May absolve someone as a night action, 2 pt sanity heal

Inventions:
Abomination creator: you may fuse two dead players into one resurrected one, in an attempt to create the “superman” The more complex the dead players, the closer you’ll be.
Abomination needs x complication points
Illithid is 4 points Werewolf is 2+mutations used on him Frankenstein and Ghoul are 1+ mutations used all else = mutations used.
Abomination complication is the sum of the complication of the bodies used
The standard version subtracts 2 points, the improved version does not
Next invention depends on sanity score:
>5: Protean tracker: reveals the progress of the protean towards ascendance
improved version, reveals who the protean is, and gives progress of the wanderer towards ascendance.
<5: Diagnostic Probe: deals a hidden 1 sanity damage, reveals role name of player and capacity for chemical x/machine mutations.
no improved version
Mutations:
1) third arm, extra .5 vote weight 2) psychic burst, may send a single pm to any player 3) fade, one shot blanket immunity for one night 4) nothing 5) keen eyes, one shot day investigation with public reveal 6) muscle bound rage, one shot mandatory nk 7) nothing 8) silver tongue, extra 2 vote weight (doesn’t stack) 9) psychic bridge, creates a temporary board for communication between two players for one night. 10) and on 197653842
