I'm generally against the quoting of pms, however I arranged this game so that it's fairly impossible to get META with them. Therefore I'll grudging allow you to go nearly verbatim.

Use a synonym, I don't care, but just nearly verbatim. edit: my brain broke, fixed.

Well, I'd rather not have looked. There are some things man was just not meant to know.
I suppose the next logical question to NAF: Is there something about your role that suggested the effect of the machine on you? Perhaps we can guess whether we want to go in or not.
Since the departed totallost was 'resilient' I'm inclined to believe she wasn't killed by a normal attack. I wonder if it's something that FCoD did, even by accident. Maybe it's related to the box.

Perhaps we can guess whether we want to go in or not. Not a thing that I can think of, sorry. My guess, based on modding with Blockey in the past, is that he has prearanged responses to lynches. So before the game started he had established (with himself) that lynch one would result in vote weight, lynch two would result in something else, lynch three would result in yet another something, and on down the line.

I think it's more likely given what we know about the setup that each role has a specific reaction to a lynch.
You know what, I am curious. I'll volunteer to be put in the machine.
Vote: FCOD

Vote: FCOD --FCOD I'm sure it's tempting to go into the machine considering NAF lived but what if you don't? If you're scum, then I guess that's good because you'll be dead (but if you are scum, I don't know that you'd sacrifice yourself). If you're town, then we'd potentially waste a lynch on a townie.

I don't know that I'm real keen on lynching those that want to be lynched. In a game this small it seems a bit of a rash move for either town or scum. It's possible that FCOD is PFK.
On another note I'll start the voting for;
Vote: timmywhofellinthewell
He missed voting yesterday and he brought up that fact again today for some strange reason.

Total's death is interesting - from the colour she would have survived other forms of attack - it may be that because both FCOD and NAF visited her, it was a double hit, and why she is dead.
Interestingly, NAF didn't seem in the slightest bit surprised that he survived the machine.
FCOD's desire to go in the machine kinda reminds me of Zaphod Beeblebrox - "Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job."
The fact that he wants to go in is suspicious in its own right -- so we could think he as something to gain from going in the machine, so of course we won't put him in the machine. But conversely, he may know that he has nothing to gain, that the machine may be fatal to him, and by saying he does want to go in, we won't put him in, so he's safe.

I honestly have no idea what will happen if I go into the machine. However, it didn't kill NAF so I'm willing to take a chance. Plus, it gives us something to talk about toDay --FCOD

Plus, it gives us something to talk about toDay You know, this is NAF's reasoning for his vote on you yesterDay, and while I do admit it got him put in the Machine I'm not sure it's a sound reason to put you in the box.

It's an interesting thought. Interesting enough that I plan to not vote for you toDay.
Also, this Day needs way more action than it is getting. I don't want to vote FCoD again so this time I will
Vote: sinjin
Same reason as my vote yesterDay. I don't have a good vote for anyone right yet.

I kind of, sort of, defended you yesterday and now you're voting me for no reason. I am very worried about the NAF/FCOD situation. They both seem to want to get machined. They both visited Total who ended up dead. Like I said yesterday, this is a really funny bunny game so I am not advocating that we lynch either of them! I am becoming more and more convinced they are PFK's together. Look at their votes yesterday: NAF (3): Flying Cow of Doom, TotalLost, MHaye TotalLost (3): Sister Coyote, BillMC, MetallicSquink Sister Coyote (1): Sinjin Sinjin (1): Parzival Flying Cow of Doom (1): NAF MetallicSquink (1): Hockeyguy NAF supposedly voted for no reason except to see other's reactions, but he never changed his vote. Having set a precedent he is doing the same thing to me. FCOD voted OMGUS and never changed his vote. This is total BS.

You're right Sinj, I am being lazy.
Unvote: sinjin
It isn't really fair for me to be totally bizarre for no reason at all. YesterDay there was a reason and I think there is some good data in my lynch.

Yeah, that was it. And I think it might have worked. I was going to do more of the same toDay while I sorted out the data, but that isn't really fair to the people who have to play this game with me. I am trying to be honest about my motivations, and my vote for sinjin was mostly motivated by the fact that we have always been on opposite teams, and that isn't a good reason for a real vote. It's too far into the game for joke votes. Hell, it was too far into the game for joke votes more or less starting with the post after my vote for FCoD.

I've reread the thread a few times, but very little comes to mind.
NAF, are you a Motie? (See Niven and Pournelle, The Mote in God's Eye.)
One thing that twnged me was timmyfellinthewell not voting and giving no reason. This is Mad Science Mafia, but it's still some variant on Mafia, and not voting without a reason is bad play.
Vote: timmyfellinthewell
Until you explain yourself.

I've been re-reading Day 1 and with my total miss on TL, I'm questioning every other thought I have about who looks suspicious. We have some lurkers (including me) and I know I'm not scum so I guess voting for another lurker would just make me look suspicious. We have two people who didn't vote at all yesterDay but I've seen that before as well and both times, the non-voters turned out to be town so I see that as a null-tell. There's not much more to go on toDay.
I do want to get a vote on record and I'm thinking that I'll just give FCOD what he wants.
Vote Flying Cow of Doom
