You know what, peek? You're absolutely right. I confused your post and CatInASuit's post (must learn to take notes I can read). The whole thing started when Kat! said: Or maybe one was Wolf, and one was Undead, and they crosskilled each other? (Look! I'm in Fantasy Land!) And then you said: crosskills help town more than scum in this game, so it seems. And I pointed out that we didn't know that yet, and CIAS said: 2. Crosskills: More please scum. Yes, the only way the town can win is if the scum night crosskill and generally screw each other over. So unvote peekervote CatInASuitBecause as I've already said, I think it's too much to assume that there was a cross-kill last night until we know more.

and sister i shouldn't have used the liar tag. my bad.
however, i still feel you mis-characterized my statement. and i do see scum motivation in that mis characterization.
regardless, i at least owe you at least a degree of civility even if we don't agree.
and i will add this. yes i am town and yes i have a power/ability but so does every other townie as well. shoot the same can be said for everyone in this game. and that's not pis it's just from reading the role descriptions.

i owe sis an apology. i shouldn't have used the "liar" tag. my bad. there are ways to express the same idea without resorting to inflammatory terminology.
and yes i am town and yes i do have a power/ability/knowledge. but so does everyone else in this game. that's not pis that's just from reading the role descriptions.
so anyways, olive branch is extended.

This post is a quite a smear on anyone choosing to WAG about last Night's kills, but the WIFOM cuts both ways. I was talking about my particular meta-game in general, especially when it comes to why such and so died (which, aside from a few mostly innocuous remarks on storyteller generally having bad Night 1 luck due to his strengths as a player, hasn't really happened yet). Nightkills are always a tempting subject to talk about, especially in early game, for both sides of the game. Perhaps I am painting with a broader brush this time around, but it was the particular wordings of Natlaw and Nanook that I found a little hinky (but not hinky enough to vote yet). And my pointy finger wasn't even pointed in your direction--if it were, I would have called you out directly in my list of Those To Be Poked At. But I guess it's not a rousing game of Mafia unless we're analyzing each other with paranoia glasses on.

Dang. 3 deaths. That's disappointing, although I wasn't expecting anything better. Ah well. I was kinda hoping that the coroner would have claimed by now, but if he/she doesn't think it's time yet, I'll trust him/her.
Alright, now that my primary suspect (storyteller) and my secondary suspect (spec. ed) are both dead, it's time to look for a new suspect!
Well, not so much 'look', as 'tell'.
Mr. Blockey is Undead.

Do we lynch or let the vig deal with it. The risks there are a) no vig b) blocked vig c) If blocky is a vamp then he would get another kill tonight if the night actions are resolved simultaneously
I don't buy the 'secret power mwhahahahahah just try and lynch me' line from Blocky and obviously his votes are a total distraction and we should read nothing into them.

quick question(s) that i have no clue what the answer is.
if (a lot of ifs coming up) we have an rv and they did choose to kill Night 1, do they keep firing away Night 2? the way i read the role that if they did kill and it was a misfire on Night 1 the whole sepoku thing doesn't happen until Night 3.
because i generally agree with cias regarding the potential set up and relative percentages. so firing away, even blindly, has a potential bigger town payoff than in other games.
and would that decision during Night 2 be at all influenced if they had knowledge of what the dead folks are?
and lastly, would a Night 2 decision be different if they had just stood pat on Night 1?

Don't hate the player, hate the game. neither, my friend, neither. believe it or not the first week i was in rehab i went to sleep hoping that my teammates in ragnorak hadn't fucked it up. i am sure my roomie was wondering who in the world NAF, mhaye and po were. and when i got home there were more questions about where the hell had i wandered off to and then welcome back on these boards than i got from any of my "friends". so no hate here.

Huh. Well that's certainly an interesting development. It does mean that Ped is almost certainly Town, since Blockey doesn't seem interested in denying it and there's no way for a non-Town to know who is an Undead. Witch seems likely, but it doesn't really matter at this point.

Personally I don't know, but I also look forward to you telling me why having Cross-kills from the scum is a bad thing. Nice strawman with the "telling me why having Cross-kills from the scum is a bad thing", but you originally said <buffly bolded> More, eh? Tell me which ones have already happened. Sounds like you've got more information than some of us. You wanna tell me how it's a "throw away vote"? Hmm, you seem to have a smudge on your cheek. Let me get that for you. Oh fudge, now you've smudged me. Yeah, I wanna know why you mentioned more crosskills. That might necessitate a stretching in the neck region.
