In a world programmed by a sheltered team of Americans, there existed two slightly magical and mysterious religions*. Hinduism--containing the mystical properties of karma; and Buddhism--which has the amazing powers of reincarnation for those spiritual enough. The two religions lived peacefully enough, until one day, the simulation screwed up, placing two temples on top of each other. The religions began to merge, creating an entirely new field of mysticism. But! Would this new found power be used for good...or evil? That was up to the 13 people still inside the crackling temples.
This one's a completly open** set-up: 9 powerless, humble pious Hindus/Buddhists, 3 evil warlock goons which can kill once each Night, and one Buddhist Master, whose humility and tranquility will allow him to reincarnate when he dies.
9 VTs 1 Town Scotsman (who will lose his power if he claims) 3 Mafia Goons
The twist? Voting is done by Karma--each day is a set time, and whoever has the lowest Karma at the end of it dies. Furthermore, Karma isn't zeroed at the end of the Day, meaning voting can happen basically at any time. And the well-laid scum plans could be inadvertently diverted by someone not even in the game!
Starting...after the Mad Science Spectacular.
*I'm not making fun of Hinduism or Buddhism. Rather, I'm making fun of movies/video games that take existing religions and turn them into secret quasi-magical orders. **Weeell...probably.
