Oook ook oook. Oook! (That's my "special power" -- capricious at best, useless once known, not worth keeping around. Still, it was fun! Glad I got a chance to use it.) No mention of it being a one time power, just that it would be presumably useless once known, unless like I implied earlier one wants to keep ones mouth shut.

The Librarian had retreated into a corner to read his book, a rather technical but engaging piece about how to run a paper mill to produce paper suitable for magic tomes.
Most people at party didn't appreciate the many aspects of proper paper milling though. "That monkey took my wine," whispered Boopsie. The hubbub of the party didn't prevent the Librarian from hearing it though and he rapidly closed the distance and knocked her out.
But as the day wore on and more wine was consumed, Mister Blockey felt confident enough to approach the Librarian: "So you're just gonna sit there a let this little green man lead a lynch against you? What kind of coward of a monkey are you?"
Suddenly the Librarian seemed the notice the rest of the party closing in to lynch him and there stood the party organizer himself right in front of him calling him a monkey!
With a loud "Oooook!" the Librarian picked up Mister Blockey and ran full speed into the opposite wall. Both hit it head on and collapsed unconscious onto the ground.
Arthur Dent stepped forward and tied his towel around the orangutan's face. Pulling it tight he murmured "Better this than using it to wipe up all the blood after chopping off his head."
NPhase the Librarian, a town miller, has been lynched.
It is now Night until Sunday 1 pm EST.

Well, I usually have my Budweiser after a workout.
But since it's past noon, sure. What the hell.

*MHaye enters the room holding a poster, followed by a footman carrying a ladder. Going to what looks suspiciously like a noticeboard, he tells the footman to hang the following notice.* Official Day One Final Vote Count[/b] (6): Yoda [67], Arthur Dent [74], Tonya Harding [79], Roland Deschain [85], Boopsie [86], Hank Hill [92] Boopsie (2): Lust Lizard Steve [58], Wednesday Addams [72] Tonya Harding (1): Quote [83] Yoda (1): Mister Blockey [113][/ul] Should you have any questions about the above, please feel free to direct them Mr. Blockey, myself, or his accountant. We exist only to serve. *With that the footman gathered the ladder up, and the two walked out.* (On a serious note, if you think your vote has been misrecorded, we're quite happy to review vote records. Just tell us what you think is wrong, and post number of anything you think we've missed. I removed any rescinded votes for clarity, but we do keep notes.
Also, the dead can request spoiler access. Just send us a PM.)

The sun rises and Pollux Oil comes limping out into the main room.
"Alright you guys. That seriously isn't funny"
There's something a little strange about him.
"I mean that redskeezix guy, whatever."
Pollux gestures towards the body of the late Roland Deschain,
"But did you really have to go and kill me in effigy?"
With that Pollux pulls on a lamp and slides through a hidden passage.
It's only when the real Pollux's corpse slides from behind a bookcase that it occurs to you that it was Mister Blockey talking to you the whole time.
Redskeezix: Roland Deschain, is dead Pollux Oil: Mister Blockey, is dead
It is now Day 2 Day 2 will end at 1 pm eastern on Wednesday.
*Mister Blockey peeks through a window*
I almost forgot
Pollux Oil was a town special investigator. Redskeezix was a town redirector.

Oh, dear! The dead bodies are really starting to pile up.
Is there a reason why no roles were given with our latest two bodies?
It now looks like we have an independent killer of some sorts. I am hoping that it was a one-time vig, but fear it may be a serial killer.

Still think the game's too small for an SK I do, and doubt a one-shot vig would have fired last night. Pollux Oil not putting forth worthwhile position on Miller claim anti-town it was. Vote on me opportunistic it was as well. Vote him toDay for his actions I would have. Guessing standard vig took him out I am. Not scummy enough were his actions to warrant expense of one-shot vig power, though, in my opinion.

Such a thing would be balanceable, I think, and not too dangerous for a game like this. Although if that is it, I'm rather surprised that they could shoot this early...hmm...

Whatever occurred the Night before, those of us here have survived now and we should focus our attention on the living and rooting out the evil that still lurks among us.

Oh, dear! The dead bodies are really starting to pile up. It now looks like we have an independent killer of some sorts. I am hoping that it was a one-time vig, but fear it may be a serial killer. It's not that dead bodies are starting to build up. It's that town dead bodies are starting to build up. Maybe it's because we haven't played much together, but texcat/Boopsie is just pinging me like crazy with her phrasing. So I'm going to vote for her again. I am also getting very suspicious of Hoopy/Yoda. He basically drove the miller kill hard yesterDay and I don't know why. Yes we had to take him out eventually but not necessarily on the day one. In a game this small it's kind of chancy for a small scum team to make that sort of play in the first place (wish I was feeling better yesterDay or I would have thought of this). His suggestion toDay that Roland was taken out by a vig because he had the nerve to question Hoopy's motives yesterDay is also specious. Town disagree all the time and we don't off each other at night for said disagreement. Unless he is suggesting we have a stupid vig.

Well, Millers are always a distraction. Best to take care of them ASAP. While I would have preferred leaving them to an NK there's no reason why scum would oblige us to remove them. And the Vig is an unknown entity: could be one-shot, or have complete powers through the game.

Well, I have to say I'm surprised to see two night kills in a game this size. Can it be possible there's a vigilante? Right now nobody is really pinging me one way or another.

Well Yoda, the main reason I didn't really get further into it yesterDay was because, as I mentioned yesterDay, I was suffering the after affects of the flu last week, and wasn't up to par. I am still sleeping 12* hours a night which still doesn't leave me with a lot of time for other stuff. And yes, you came up with lots of reasons to take out the miller on Day one. Lots and lots and lots. Almost over-kill it was. But in all of your brilliance you didn't think maybe that would be a chancy thing for a small scum team to do in a quick game? I don't know if it's just your Yoda** character voice but you seem pretty damned sure about alot of things in this game for it being just Day 2. Not a SK, not a single kill vig, blah, blah.
So your contention is that Pollux was vigged for not arguing hard enough that taking out the miller was not a good idea? Before we even found out the miller was actually a miller. So you are suggesting that we do have a stupid vig.
*I only slept 11 hrs and 45 minutes last night, things are looking up. **I find it very difficult to read your Yoda posts. As a SW character Yoda said very little. What's effective in small doses is hard to follow in paragraphs.

So you are suggesting that we do have a stupid vig. Wait. What? The vig would have sent in their action on Pollux after Night fell, and nphase's millerness was confirmed by the mod, unless we've got a vig acting during the Day. Or am I misunderstanding what you're saying there? I hate you so much. I barely got an hour's sleep last night.

I am not clear about why we are assuming that the vig took out Pollux. Couldn't the scum have killed Pollux, and the vig got to Roland-redskeez? And as long as I am wondering about things that don't seem to add up...what was Roland up to last night? My natural, if somewhat selfish, action as a redirector on night 1 would have been to redirect from myself onto whoever looked the scummiest. Do I not understand the role? Or do we have to assume that Roland took some other action?

So you are suggesting that we do have a stupid vig. Once again putting words in my mouth you are. "Pollux was vigged for not arguing against Miller claim" not my contention is. Pollux may have been vigged for not even taking any stance on it, yet using the scenario as a toss-off vote my contnetion is. Big difference. And not saying vig stupid I am. Saying vig a bit trigger happy I am. But pollux reasonable target for vig was since behavior slippery it was. Seen vigs shoot for less reasons I have.

I am not clear about why we are assuming that the vig took out Pollux. Couldn't the scum have killed Pollux, and the vig got to Roland-redskeez? Why would Roland vig target be? Redirect can target or actor affect, depending on role setup.

Living player list:
Death By Irony: Priest from FFT FCOD: Hank Hill Hoopy Frood: Yoda NAF: Arthur Dent Pedescribe: Quote (Cave Story) Sinjin: Steve the lust lizard of melancholy cove Sister Coyote: Wednesday Addams Texcat: Boopsie (doonesbury) Timmyfellinthewell: Tonya Harding
So we have three dead town and nine players still alive. One player who is now dead was a miller, which implies that there will not be a godfather (in a game this size it would usually be one or the other). There does seem to be a second killer beyond the scum. If that killer is a town vig who has the option not to kill let me take this opportunity to say that this game is too small for you to keep killing willy nilly. So please stop.
That said, the miller claim did rather fuck up our information gathering yesterday.
Vote: Sinjin/STEVE
based on her comments on Yoda.
It's not much, but when in doubt throw a vote out, it's what I always say.

Why would Roland vig target be? Redirect can target or actor affect, depending on role setup. I don't know why Roland would be a vig target anymore than I know why he would be a scum target. He seemed to be the most suspicious of you, Yoda. Or at least his final stab in the eye was directed at you. So does that mean his redirect power could have been something like if Pollux does anything tonight redirect it towards Yoda?
