"I don't get it, I didn't vote for her, did you vote for her." "I didn't vote for her" "Well I doubt she would vote for herself" "So why did she come up as the nominee" "I don't know" "Where have they gone..."
By this time, pleonast and redskeezix had seized sinjin and marched her down to the stasis booth before throwing her in, shutting the door and kicking the machine into life.
"Let me out, let me out" came the cry as the machine whirred into life.
Brain pattern held.... Name: Wendy Passenger Status: Passenger Passenger Role: The Maid Passenger Ability: Vanilla
sinjin had been placed into stasis
As storyteller and Special Ed came round, they found the two other passengers ready for them. One short but brutal fight later and the pair had been knocked unconcious.
"What do you reckon" "Stasis pod, they can wake up in the slave markets, might get a good price for them" "Not as good as this ship though" "Yup, it's all ours, by the time the main ships get here, the auto repair will have finished and we will be long gone." "Excellent, so what do we do for the next few days." "We have the entire ship to play with, whatever you like..."
Congratulations to the Infiltration Team for successfully taking control of the SS Titania. Pleonast Redskeezix peekercpa dirx

Woohoo! Scum rule!
Now to read the setup and see what the roles really were. I think we scum must've gotten lucky in the first two Days.

thanks for the good game, cat. Although when it didn't end right away, I was starting to think I was getting conned by the Con-Man, and maybe I really should lynch him.

and the Scum really believed me when I started my post by saying, "I'm not the investigator, but....."
I can't see Kat's breadcrumb (darn school filter). I didn't look in the Nights when I looked for one. I do remember the previous one.
I really wasn't sure if I could believe the claim. I honestly thought it might be a Scum Kat hoping to skate by and if she got caught taking Squid with her. I just don't trust masons fully anymore.
In the end, it didn't matter. I was blocked.

First observation - that, combined with the Heroes game on Giraffe, creates one of those "too improbable to believe" moments.
Pedescribe was a Tracker in both games. I was a Watcher, in both games. BillMc was a Town Vig in both games.
There was a while I was convinced Storyteller was going to be a Doc in both. I was quite disappointed to find him vanilla, to be honest.
Most frustrating moment? My death was a side-effect of the pirate bomber. I can't help wondering if that role was just a tad overpowered, as it caused three deaths (and the only reason there was not a fourth was that Peeker saved Special Ed). A Pirate with a single-shot bonus kill is powerful, and that role could take two to five Town players out.

I can't help wondering if that role was just a tad overpowered. I agree. A single extra kill is very powerful. Two extra kills remarkably so. Extra kills due to targeting the target and you are looking at game-breaking. I also think catinasuit underestimated the power of a scum vote-switcher. Equivalent powers are not equivalent on different teams. I would be able to accept town losing on 2 mislynches if that was due to a random result of a third party killing a bunch of townies, but that scum was responsible for all Town night kills except for one ( compulsory vig), I think this one had some balance issues.

Congrats scum. You guys played verry well. Thanks for the game Cat. Was Shaggy close to winning? I can't get to the set-up board. Almost but not quite...even if you lynched Pleo instead of me the other day, then we would go into the last day with still one left for me to tag. Providing we then lynch red and you guys instead win, I would loose. So in the end by taging kat who then died it made it so I could not win. I may have lied about the whole vote buying power but the rest was actually the truth.

First observation - that, combined with the Heroes game on Giraffe, creates one of those "too improbable to believe" moments. Pedescribe was a Tracker in both games. I was a Watcher, in both games. BillMc was a Town Vig in both games. And RedSkeezix a Scum Politician (or approximation thereof). Crazy! So was I, since I thought he was Scum. I roleblocked him Night Two The even more frustrating thing is that I almost saved you. I mistook the day-end time that Day, and had been planning to reassess who I was going to block. It probably would have been you (slight chance it might have been Skeez instead, which would have saved me). Instead the block stayed on Shaggy, which wound up useless due to his choice of target. I guess we all have to have games like this sometimes, but man. About the only thing I did right was get myself killed by Scum rather than by vig or lynch. (Ironically, though, none of my blocks had any effect, not even the one on Pedescribe, due to *his* choice of target. Though it may have played a role in Bill killing him.)

Finally. I can now tell you all... I had to be subbed out because I found/saw that redskeezix was scum. Remember my very last post in game? Where I say that RS seems not only like scum but very OBVIOUS scum and that he struck me as scum playing scum for the first time and being lousy at hiding it? And then I gave one scum-like sign he did earlier and said there was another that I couldn't remember so I had to go do a search of all of his posts to remember it? Well, right after I made that post, I did. I looked up his posting history. And it brought up his posts. ALL of his posts. See, what I (and FCoD, and CIAS) didn't know was that me, being the master admin on this site, will see ALL the posts made by someone if I search their posts...regardless of if they're in a password protected and hidden forum. Regardless even of if I don't even know what the password is OR that there is a hidden forum on here. But there was. The scum in this game were posting in a hidden forum onsite..and in looking up his posts, they showed those posts too (the ones he was making in the scum forum on here). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So there you have it, I had to get subbed out for that reason. Ironic, in a way, since I already thought he was "very obvious scum" and was about to stay in that frame of mind ANYWAY from then on. Now you all know. And it's nice to know that I know "very obvious scum" when I see it.

Yes, this game had balance issues. I was fairly happy with the scum vote switcher role as there were two other vote switchers in game, with the town one capable of overriding the scum vote switcher. Also the scum role had to act at Night and both the others could act during the Day. I'm surprised shaggy didn't try to use it to save himself? Where the game was unbalanced was giving two extra Night kills to the scum instead on one. That one screwed up the number of mislynches you could have.

This however was both my first full size game, and my first time being scum, so I had no idea what I was doing. Everyone was saying, just play like you play town. Heh, I played all of 1 day as town before this game. Still had fun though.

Congratulations to the infiltrators! Thanks for the game Cat although as I mentioned in the unspoiled thread, it was definitely not my best game. You asked in the spoiled thread: I think a shorter Day One might be better to get the game going. The end of the first Day claim circus gets more cramped, but I think that's the best part of Day One anyway: putting out a vote based on little solid facts, seeing the claims, the vote shifts, etc . I wasn't completely wrong about the vote shenanigans the vote counts implied (not sure if that was intended?), but lynching Chucara for wasn't smart. Idle, sorry if jumped on your toes - my initial intention was to vote early to get things rolling but it just a train wreck .
