you can't blame town for that hammer peek. If people can get away with I know I played anti town, but i'm town honest, then scum would have a free pass to do what the hell they liked.

oh, i absolutely agree. my whole point was just trying to keep the game moving regardless of consequences to me personally. and if the only justification for lynching me was because i hammered two townies (one that i had to do because of my role) then that is just poor play. and seriously, i had already typed my vote for you before you came up with your post so that's kind of null as well. in retrospect i probably should have let that play out a little longer but shoot you do the best you can with what you have.

the second hammer, just after the claim, gicing no time for discussion was the clincher i think

the second hammer, just after the claim, gicing no time for discussion was the clincher i think and i am agreeing with you, i think. the first hammer was role driven to some extent and also time driven to a contributing extent. your hammer was even more of a frustration thing. regardless of what your alignment was i should have let it drag out a little longer. even though it was getting a little tedious. i mean seriously, look at toDay. it was apparent that cruddy town reasoning and easy scummitude was going to result in my lynch. why drag it out. crap i like a good mystery novel but i also want to finish the fucker in my lifetime.

I love the hammer-mechanism and would love it if I could sub back in. But since I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen - could a dead chick get spoiled a bit around here?

and if this needs to be deleted do so.
i am not spoiled so i most likely am as wrong about this as anything else. why are folks still talking about recrutiing in the conventional sense? i just don't see story putting that mechanic in one of his games. switching sides by action or choice, sure. but with no say in the process, not so much.

I was kind of thinking Story's recruitment method was along the lines of a choice between recruitment or death. That was a mechanic in one of the Alien Taste games and I kind of like it.
I'm not spoiled either.
And because I was way busy and didn't do it at the time; Major apologies to Story for my non-participation.
Remodeling the kid's bathroom took way more time than I thought it would. We worked 10 hours a day* from 12/24 until 1/9 and then drove home on 1/10 and I started school on 1/11. Repairing alllllllllll of the prior remodeling mistakes made over 60 years takes way more time than you would ever imagine. We estimated the time required for the job based on previous work we had done renewing original professional work, hahahahahahahahaha. Never underestimate the stupid.
*Actually I sluffed off the last couple of days and babysat the kidlet. Sue me.

golly gee, it gets quiet at times. i mean i don't have much of a life but a couple of minutes here and their and some comments doesn't seem to be too much to ask. i guess i have discovered the secret to longevity - don't say anything. of course that would be as much fun as watching the san antonio "landslide". four inches an hour, while devestating for a house foundation, is still not real dramatic.

Lurker madness! It could infect you at any time! What to do, WHAT TO DO???!!!! Buy the all new, all improved anti-lurker cream. If you lurk you get the itch. Post and the itch goes away. Come on do it for the team. Some details and all side-effects obscured for the younger audience.

My next game is going to have some kind of really brutal anti-lurking mechanic. I'm not sure what it will be, but it will either force people to actually play, or else it will make the game really really short.

and this is a no bullshit question.
why don't folks talk a wee bit more? i mean i show my ass consistently and really it pains me not much.
i mean, it's not like we are playing for a ton of cash. i just really really don't get it.
this is a really cool set up and sheesh if i was an ex lax salesman i'd have a real established clientelle.

I find it especially frustrating because I would have been participating if I hadn't accidentally beta-tested our security systems. And further more, I would have been participating on Day 3 if I hadn't read any farther than Texcat!

Poop. I kinda fell into schoolwork this past week. I totally could have saved my bacon if I'd remembered that we had a deadline now. Oh well. Better hope scum misses, town, otherwise I suspect it's curtains.
I have decided that if I'm ever vig in a game again, I'm just going to vig the bottom level of posters. If I had done that when I was vig in other games, they would have turned out better and I really wanted to do that here.

The only reason they should lynch Natlaw today is if he is scum. If he is an SK, the town should leave him to the scum to kill.
As for SisC, I would guess she is telling the truth, which means she is town and at this point, they should erally start narrowing down the field of possible lynch suspects.

I've only been looking at the game here and there, but did anyone else catch Natlaw's inconsistent story?
He posted his GD PM, which stated that he can only give out goodies if he chooses to go the SK route. And he has provided ample evidence that he has been giving out items after that other dude's death. Why the hell did Town lynch Sister Coyote and not Natlaw?

Actually lynching Natlaw would be the wrong thing to do if he was a PFK. The scum should be forced to kill him off instead of the town. Being honest, with 5 mislynches now, if the scum do not win this in the morning, I would be a bit annoyed even with one of the scum down.

Yeah, the game isn't going to end. I think this game was unfairly balanced toward Town. I felt pretty confident about the numbers, but nearly every non-lynch-related break went Town's way. There were all sorts of opportunities for extra kills for the Scum, but none of them actually happened.
I think the Scum can probably force one more mislynch, but if they don't and they lose then I'll owe them an apology for the design.

Ok,
I'm still unspoiled, so this my guess on what is going on hjas gone to storyteller, but I am surprised about the votes for Natlaw.
If he is a PFK, it is just handing the game to the scum.
