Even in real life, unionization is no picnic. Oh, sure, people point to the United Auto Workers and the Actor's Guild and complain about how easy they have it. But they see only the end result. Getting there was a sordid and depressing history, full of deadly fires, fire hoses, assassinations, and other desperate actions--on both sides of the battle--that makes one weep for the state of humanity.
Now, take all those horrible measures, and imagine how they would go in a world full of supernatural creatures--of Space Animals, and giant apes, and electric rats that could short out a city without assistance. There was no way, at the time, that the three new union members could get anywhere, not with Nintendo. Nintendo's defenses were legendary--situated on an island base in the Sea of Japan, guarded with the best mercenary forces money could buy. No, for any sort of negotiations to work, this fledgling union would need allies.
So they traveled across the lands, through all the landscapes depicted by Nintendo. They had signals sent into space, and had allies come in via spaceship. They had diplomats come from faraway places, from the Beanbean Kingdom to Macro Land. They even engaged in talks with the third party companies, trying to convince Capcom or Sega that it was in their interests to help this group. When all was said and done, they had managed to assemble 23 stalwart warriors to come on the negotiations vessel. With Mario on their side, they had knowledge of the security systems. The Daisy Cruiser set off, filled with the hopes of the average video game worker.
But...all was not well. For Nintendo's defense systems are legendary, and that includes their network of spies and shills. They, too, had prepared. And they laid in wait, posing as teammates to the rest, waiting...for the signal. Any moment now.

Rules: 1. There are two main factions: the town and the shills. The Town wins when all the shills are dead. The shills when when nothing can stop them from killing off everyone else. Any other factions will have their win conditions in their Role PM. -1a For any hypothetical non-main factions: if they would end the game upon winning, they will be labelled PFKs. if they would not end the game upon winning, they will be labelled 3rd parties. 2. Everyone has 3 votes: a 1st vote, a 2nd vote, and a 3rd vote. The 1st vote is worth 3 point, the 2nd is worth 2 point, and the 3rd is worth 1 point. Whoever has the most points at the end of the day is killed. You can't vote more than once for the same person. Unlike in other games, you don't have to vote 3 times for it to count.* *If you're still confused, it's explained in detail here, except the last line is not true this game. 3. All Night actions must be sent in before the end of that Night, obviously. They can be sent in advance provided they are clearly labeled. -3a. The results of Night Actions for the shills will be posted on the shill board. Meaning if a shill dies during the Night, his results are still known to the other shills. 4. Days 1-3 are 5 days long, Days 4-6 are 4 days long, Days 7 and after are 3 days long. Night strategy is allowed for town, and Day strategy is allowed on the scum board. 5. No editing, no strategy in non-mod set-up communication. Breaking this rule won't necessarily result in a mod-kill, but it might. 6. Please participate. I will sub in people until the end of Day 2, or later if and only if someone is following along and available. There may be modkills for non-participation. 7. There is no recruitment or post restriction beyond the rules. All weird or made up role (e.g. doc, vig, cop etc.) names will be explained to some extent on request. 8. Colorwise, this game is a direct sequel to the last one. Also, each Day/Night will have a Brawl track, because I like the soundtrack to the game.

Electric rats? I am so /in! And those of us that had their entire 1999 Holiday Retail job to thank to this "rat" know exactly who he is. I pray to god he does not have the obvious posting restriction. Seriously, I applied for a job around September / October 99 at a Game store. I was asked to come back tommorow, to be taught how to play this, and Magic The Gathering. I told him "That's Ok, I already know how to play both." Wizards of the Coast would then buy our store. Hasbro would then buy it a year later, when I re-applied for the job in 2000. Hasbro shut us down. My best job I ever held. And yes, I say this about a retail job.

Wow, this thing is filling up fast.
Coyote : I am not saying who it is on purpose, just in case it undermines the integrity of the game.

I assume roles will be assigned randomly?
There will be one day where Meeko gets a post restriction.
That game will end up setting a record for number of people playing the game.
A game with purpose made roles, for the people who sign up. ........ Does Super Gastard even exist?
