Is the Dirx kill on mental guy in the expectation that it does not go through without someone protecting/blocking etc? If so, i am ok with the proposed plan. It's based on the possibility that Dirx might be scum and kill mental guy in order to follow the plan. At this point mentalguy is a liability powers wise since he doesn't know what they do. If scum kills him that means two masons and two claimed investigators and two investigation results exist. That would cover almost everyone alive tomorrow.

I don't follow the logic here. You want to lynch me because I don't have any powers left? But want to leave someone alive to possibly use theirs?
Ed is playing super townie so you guys aren't willing to lynch him despite how skeptical you are of his claim? Have any of you played as scum with Ed before? That's his MO. He plays the game as town as possible. He does not hesitate to cast the first vote or attempt a bandwagon on his fellow scum. He would slit their throats for an ounce of townie cred.
You are coming up with a plan to analyze powers. But whats to stop people from just not acting and lying about what they did vs. the results? If I were scum, I would sit still Tonight and let you guys mess each other up. Then in the morning I would lie about what action I took. Keep in mind that it is easy for Dirx to lie about his power because his kill supposedly only works if the target is protected, and easy for Ed to lie because he claims he has an investigative power and if he is scum he's pretty damn safe not acting and telling you he investigated and came up with a town result.
So.... I'm sticking to my guns. You guys should move your vote to Ed or Dirx. Both of them had claimed killing powers, which would have provided them with a cover for performing the scum NK. Both of them now seem to be neutralized with the lack of protective roles and Ed's lack of a killing power, which I assume will suddenly be regained after he is the last to vote to lynch me, so I'm guessing whichever of them is scum planned on coasting through the rest of the game without having anything to incriminate them further and acting the part of the now defunct town killer. (Yes I do see the irony in me saying this). Something just isn't right between the two of them.
And I'm too lazy to go quote the post right now, but whoever said that two town protectors would make me being scum balance out, how does one single kill made in public throughout the entire game balance with two docs?

And I'm too lazy to go quote the post right now, but whoever said that two town protectors would make me being scum balance out, how does one single kill made in public throughout the entire game balance with two docs? The point of the plan is not to play power tester, but to create a situation where 50% or better going into tomorrow are confirmed town, or scum/PFK has been outed. Let's walk through the list since I believe there is 1 more scum left. If the last scum is ed: He'll either kill nanook, be investigated by nanook, or nanook will be redirected elsewhere (providing another investigation result). If the last scum is dirx: He'll kill someone or he wont. There will be 1-2 investigations meaning we'll be sitting good with 3-4 investigateds/masons out of 6-7 players tomorrow. OR the last scum will have been outed. If the luv is the last scum: Nanook won't be redirected, or Nanook will be dead. Special Ed's investigation still goes through. If the last scum is mental guy. He will kill, role block/redirect, or not kill. The plan will not go off as planned and we will have some clue as to why. If the last scum is nanook, He will kill or not. He won't be able to choose his target as it will be special ed. We will know if nanook kills special ed. Leaving you alive paul, becomes a variable in the plan, we can't tell you what to do, since AFAIK you have no ability. It's not a perfect plan, but if you can think of a better one, I'll at least listen. Also note, that scum following this plan will lead to their outing. Not doing anything will be noticed in almost every case. This plan also leaves two claimed investigators clear to possibly investigate and increase the info that town has.

While from a town standpoint this seems like a wasted investigation and a weakening of the plan, I can understand your distrust. And it's up to you who to investigate or claim to have investigated as the case may be. I don't see it as weakening the plan at all. 1. If paul flips Scum and we win, it shouldn't matter 2. If paul flips Scum and we don't win, that means: 2a. We had 5 Scum! with several 3rd party/pfk in the game, or 2b. We still have PFKs in the game. 3. If paul flips Town or Other, that would reduce our likely Scum targets to: Dirx, Nanook, mental and me. (there's a level of trust for luv and the masons) 3a. If it's Nanook, he has a tough choice to make: accuse me of being Scum and face the lynch the next Day, or confirm me as Town causing us to lynch Dirx 3b. If it's Dirx, Nanook will confirm me, we can lynch Dirx. So, in these cases: 1. My investigation doesn't matter. 2a. I don't see this as likely 2b. It will be nice to eliminate the Masons from consideration for PFK. I could remove Dirx or luv, I suppose. 3a and b. Again, it will be nice to eliminate the Masons as PFK suspects. I'm sure there's stuff I'm forgetting. And, having played as Scum Mason traitor, a fucked up contingencies investigative mason who sent results to an unknown player and as a 2 person Mason with Meeko in pede's previous games, let me be clear, he will fuck with the masons......there's always the possibility that the masonry is made up of a 3rd party, a PFK, and a Scum.

Anyway, I am okay with the plan.
Ed, why do you say there is a level of trust for luv, but not for Dirx. As I went back and looked, I noticed that Dirx claimed before luv. So, if Dirx did not really kill FCoD, then he was taking the chance that luv did (or Shaggy, but I think peek had pretty much eliminated that possibility). Combine that with luv surviving your kill attempt and I don't think he needs to be trusted anymore than Dirx. I don't really think either one of them is scum, but of the two I would be more suspicious of luv.

Ed and paul are both throwing suspicions everywhere now (the masons? really?). I don't know if one/both are trying to prevent a mislynch of themselves, or if one of them is scum. I would prefer to lynch Ed, but as I understand it, red's plan works better if Ed is alive Tonight instead of paul.
so, Vote: paulwhoisaghost
Regarding the masons, I did wonder for a while if maybe they were both scum, and that the PM they posted for Total was perhaps a fake PM doctored to look like she was a mason with them. But then I remembered that she was mod-revealed as a mason, and no one else has claimed a masonry. I honestly trust them.
And I really think investigations will be better if they target one of us much-less-confirmed players. Ed, myself, luv, or mentalguy.

You say I'm throwing suspicion everywhere as well... but that's in error. I only stated suspicion for 2 people. Ed and Mental. That's a far fetch from throwing suspicion everywhere. And I don't know if it was intentional, but grouping me with Ed in that statement and then mentioning being suspicious of the masons makes it seem like I was suspicious of them.... I am not.
I really resent that you are voting me over the person you are most suspicious of because of proposed plan that I think I wasn't included in because Red was voting for me.

While you're not one I am most suspicious of, I'm also not entirely opposed to your lynch. And red's plan really does sound like it will generate some very useful data and help us find the last scum. I think, strategically, this is probably the better option. As for your throwing suspicion around, you went from sounding fairly noncommittal earlier Today ("you can lynch me if you don't find anyone better") to trying hard to get out of the noose. It was a significant enough change to give me pause and reconsider you for a lynch. And no, I'm not implying you're suspicious of the masons. Poor wording, I guess, but I figured Ed's posts about them were recent and heated enough that the other players would know what I was talking about and not jump to the conclusion you did. Sorry I wasn't crystal clear.
