Welcome, Wolves! You may discuss things now, but not use any other powers.

I'm the Omega Wolf. Which means all y'all get to pick on me, and I'll never be Alpha, but I show as a Freemason when investigated.

I'm the Alpha Wolf. I asked for the role to try to make up for my debacle in the last Conspiracy...
I control our secret power which is cannot be passed on, though my title can be.

Hm. I should probably clarify that with Pleo -- my PM says "When investigated, you appear as a Freemason on the Town side," exactly as it says in the Rules thread.

I control our secret power which is cannot be passed on, though my title can be. and our secret power is? If a wolf gets lynched, I gain a secondary Night Kill the following Night on anyone who vote for the wolf. It can be blocked or rebound if it's a Vampire, but it will only be revealed to a detective as a kill by "Alpha Wolf" not that it was by Special Ed. Why are there 7 of us? Last game it was 12 Town, 5 Wolf, 4 Undead and 4 Cabal. I realize we lost pathetically, but still, I wonder which side got weakened or how they were compensated. For reference purposes here are the last game requests Sister Coyote: 1) Warlock 2) Witchdoctor 3) Omega 4) Town. Merestil Haye: 1) Cabalist 2) Vampire 3) Coroner 4) Vigilante. Nanook: 1) Vig 2) Witch 3) Vampire 4) Mason. Death by Irony: 1) Town. julie: 1) Coroner 2) Vampire 3) Witchdoctor 4) Warlock. peekercpa: 1) Witch, Wolves or Cabal. BillMc: 1) Witch 2) Witchdoctor 3) Vig 4) Omega. storyteller: 1) Undead 2) Cabal or Wolves. FCoD: 1) Vampire 2) Necromancer. pedescribe: 1) choose last. NAF: 1) Cabal 2) Wolf 3) Warlock 4) Witch 5) Detective 6) not Vampire. Kat: 1) Vampire 2) Seer 3) Werewolf 4) Omega Wolf 5) Detective 6) Freemason 7) Warlock 8) Vicar 9) Necromancer. Squid: 1) Wolves or Cabal 2) Town. Meeko: 1) Omega Wolf 2) Cabalist. Parzival: 1) Not Vampire. CatInASuit: 1) Vigilante. Special Ed: 1) Wolves 2) Cabal.

A role investigator will get Freemason from me, unless that person is a Freemason, and lord only knows what they'll get.
A faction investigator will read me as Town.

Woo! This is going to be fun. I'm probably going to get killed fast, though.
Ed, is that power a single-shot, or can you use it any time one of us gets lynched?

it is a single shot. There's no restriction against posting our role PMs, is there?

I stand corrected. It does NOT appear to be a single shot.

Hi all! This is my first Conspiracy game but it looks like there's a pretty competent team here so feel free to give me pointers if I screw up. Also, that's a pretty sweet power, Ed. I suggest you avoid being killed. #freeadvice

Maybe you're right. My plan to get myself killed right off the bat 1 might not have been well thought out It was a fine plan....given I was on the winning side then :-) I think a couple of us will have very short life spans - there will probably be 3 or more kills on Night 1 So I guess one strategy may be for one of us to get deliberately lynched, to give Ed the 2nd kill.

It seems to me that his power is merely to make the lynch of a wolf more endurable. Purposefully getting killed so he can use the power seems like it puts us back where we started. We get to kill an extra person, but we are down one wolf. That being said, if we do decide to do that, it would be a good chance to gain some anti-wolf cred for the other wolves.

Though we do want to do what we can to keep Ed alive as long as possible without giving ourselves away.
Ah, Conspiracy III. The Ed and Meeko show.

Looking at the Rules for C3 and C4 - this addition to C4 caught my eye:
"If, after all powers are resolved, more than one player is attempting to kill a single victim, only the player who last put in the request to kill will proceed."
Last to act gets the kill - and whatever side effect of making that kill (e.g. warlock's curse) :S Tho it does ensure the Magician/Scotsman doesn't learn the names of multiple attackers.
It does then seem prudent that we get our kill order in early (we can change it if necessary) but better to be at the head of the kill queue than at the end of it.

I'd like ED alive as ling as possible but it appears that his role will get passed down the line when he dies

Really, Alpha just mean tiebreaker in case we can't decide who to lynch

Yep I'm here...wolf numero 4 signing in.
Ditto with IS, never been in a conspiracy before or even played a game on these boards, so it should be fun to say the least.

Do we have any strategy for Day1, or just a free for all?

Do we have any strategy for Day1, or just a free for all? Let's avoid my strategy from C III, where I picked a fight with our Omega Wolf. We're all smart. We can play it by ear since we cannot communicate during the Day.

After Red's post, I just realized there's no lynch unless someone reaches a threshold of half the players...

I dunno what my plan is for day one other than to talk about lynch the lurker, fluff posting and the utility of day 1's. I don't usually have difficulty surviving day 1.
