Idle is mod confirmed as the Scotsman, so any attempt to say he's anything other than Town is ridiculous on it's face. Sach is also confirmed Town, based on a dead investigator returning a non-Freemason Town result. Both have stated that Pinkies used a Vicar power on them. So....confirmed Town. No offense, but the vicar power is a DAY power and can be used only on dead people or people about to be lynched. using it last night on living people, means it's something, but it doesn't mean it's the vicar power, not by a long shot. The only way it's the vicar power is if the vicar has the town secret power. If so, then Idle's list becomes suspect. I don't for a second believe that Pinkies is the vicar though. Quite frankly if Idle and Pinkies are both town, then I'll eat my hat. @idle: This completely open with the exceptions being the secret powers, and specific player alignment. If you got that list it is a secret power or the mod has been lying. And this mod doesn't seem like the type to go bastard without saying so. So yeah, I do think you have the town secret power and I think that pinkies has another faction's secret power.

Sorry, Red, but my PM from Pleonast, last Night, specifically says vicar Captain Pinkies. Not only does it say VICAR, but it names Captain AS THE VICAR. So, again, I'm more apt to believe Captain is the Vicar then him not being it and that he, somehow, for some reason, can sometimes (or has the choice to) bless people at Night instead of the Day. Or, again, maybe he has Town's secret power. Because again, my list was INFO. Not POWER. Getting info doesn't constitute a secret power! Really, I think you know all this and are just trying to cause friction and suspicion on your way to the gallows. With some people it's lies, with others, it's trying to reap discord among the people left over. I can see what type you are. Occam's Razor works in favor of him being the Vicar with the evidence people have seen.

That all being said, if after all the known wolves and undead and cabalists are gone, the game still isn't over and Town won, then looking closer at Pinkies might be called for. But until then, meh, I'd rather go after who I think is the lying Necro.

I've tried watching Mafia spoiled, and was still confused. I'm trying to participate in a Mafia game as a player, and am still getting confused, even getting more confused as the game progresses! Next game, can I participate as a player and also be spoiled? Vote: End DayBTW, just to keep things very explicit for septimus, am I not correct that Town would probably win even killing FCOD, unless Necromancer has a Secret Power, e.g. one-time Night Kill ?

Septimus: Conspiracy is not the same as Mafia. In fact, regular Mafia will probably be a bit easier for you, now that you've played in this one.
Also: Someone would have to kill the Necromancer (and all his or her zombies) to prevent an ultimate Undead win, even with killing FCOD. If I'm understanding the numbers correctly, one more zombie and one more night Kill that isn't the necro (and remember, we can't kill the vampires at night) and all other factions lose.

My original PM to Pleonast was equivocal, stressing my inexperience, but he seemed eager for New Blood and put me in the game! If I'm understanding the numbers correctly, one more zombie and one more night Kill that isn't the necro (and remember, we can't kill the vampires at night) and all other factions lose. Right now there are 2 Undead, 9 other players, and 5 zombies. If we kill Vampire today then, even if Wolves kill Townie tonight, I get toMorrow's count as: 1 Undead, 8 other players, 6 zombies. Did I miscalculate?

Did I miscalculate? Correct. However if we kill the Necromancer toDay, toMorrow's count (even if the Wolves and last Vamp both kill a person) would be 1 Undead, 7 other players, 0 zombies. I think 7 others to 1 undead is better than 8 others to 7 undead. And offtopic, you're doing fine for your first game, as Sister says, this is actually way more complex than regular mafia. You do this and you can do any game. : )

I'm back. This post is completely OOG.
I want to explain where I've been the last couple of weeks and what has been on my mind (or not on my mind, as the case may be) regarding this game. I had it all typed out but I can't post it. It's too personal. Suffice it to say that if Pleonast would have allowed me to get a substitute, I'd have done that in a heartbeat, just as I did in the other game I was in at the time. In my mind it was the only decent option, and it was not one I was given. I did the best I could under the circumstances to be fair to all involved, including myself. I've been in no shape to deal with adversarial public posting, but I have been in need of diversion when alone. If the results are not to anyone's liking, fair enough I suppose, but I'd appreciate it very much if you keep it to yourself. I'm still in no shape for an argument on this issue.
Game comments in the next post.

I'm Cabal; Skeez is not. We were responsible for Bill's death, and no others, which is mildly interesting in that Skeez did get the target right out of three choices (though not the motives). We killed Bill because he'd made a couple of comments that made him, in our minds, a likely witch -- first, a gratuitous comment on day one that playing witch previously had been boring; and second, the unnecessary assertion that sachertorte must be the third witch, based on Nanook's claiming of him as known town. We already knew that was wrong, as sachertorte was among those who had voted Eureka on day one. But we got it wrong on Bill. Not the only error we've made. C'est la vie.
So there's my Cabal bonafides. I have more, related to stanislaus, but I'd prefer to keep some things secret.

So the theory that nphase was totally away from the game seems incorrect. Therefore she could be the necromancer. Either way, both redskeezix and nphase need to die by Dawn.

I've been thinking about duvsie and Sister Coyote. While I can't promise what other Townies will do, I will promise you that if you kill nphase and decline to kill any townies during all future nights,
I will: (1) vote to lynch FCoD Tomorrow. (2) vote No Lynch on all future Days.

I may still be confused. nphase's claim might be normal game play, doing, as she says, the best she can with all obligations, and she could be Necromancer. If so, we do not want to lynch redskeezix.
