You and your travellers gather 'round Mahaloth, one of you holding his wrists, while the others pelt him with rocks as you wait for the lord of the castle to arrive and mete out his justice. This time, you are certain you have captured the killer from previous Nights. As if on cue, the lord of the castle strides through the doors and over to the lynching circle that has surrounded the unfortunate Mahaloth.
He stares at the captive silently for a few moments, and then begins to speak.
"I believe you have lost that illumination, that which distinguishes man and wise beasts from madmen and other beasts, and now in your folly you run as if through the woods, decked with birds' feathers, and answer only the chirping of those creatures, as though you know no other language. It would be less grave if you had been reduced to this state through misguided zeal, and craved penance and punishment, for there might be some hope for you. But the trouble is that you have been driven to madness by Eros, a pagan god who the more he is suppressed, the more devastation he will cause. Here, allow me to end your plight."
Just as cruelly as before, the lord slices open Mahaloth's throat. As his captors lay him roughly to the ground, a card appears from within his robes. "Ah, yes, of course," the lord notes. "VI. The Lover. I suspected as much. You have wrought much evil in my house, but you shall trouble it no more."
The lord leaves the chamber, and mutters fill the room. "Did we--" "Is that--" "What--"
Mahaloth, Scum Roleblocker, has been lynched.

Just woke up. Y'all managed to cram in a fuckload of playing while I was dreaming about hotdogs (which I have sworn off). Way to eagle-claw the bat.

1. Congrats, folks.
2. I meant "aid and assist" power roles, not "out" them by revealing them.
3. Go scum!

Ah, it appears I mis-read the vote situation. My bad! I honestly detest(town or scum) last minute votes on a Day ending on a Saturday. I was literally heading out the door as I voted, so I was very rushed.

Ed, I had a vote placed earlier, so it isn't the "pot calling the kettle black" when I complain about last minute votes. That's just me making a defensive vote.
I did mis-read the vote situation, though, due to being rushed to a birthday party on a Saturday.

Not if you find them kind of disgusting. (Like I do.) Not quite as disgusting as bologna, but pretty close. bah. a couple of hebrew nationals with homemade venison chili is about as comfort food as it gets. load those bad boyz up with some cheese and if you desire some nice vidalias and you have a meeting with nappy time on a cold dreary winter's day.

I have an all-encompassing love for cured meats, but I also have the waistline to prove it. So hotdogs have been sacrificed so as to continue the love affair with bacon and pastrami while still at least making some sort of motion in the direction of lifestyle change.

I'm back home now and quite surprised to find myself still alive. I can and will comment further about the matter come dawn, if I don't die before then. As for the outcome of the day - SCHWEET!

So hotdogs have been sacrificed so as to continue the love affair with bacon and pastrami while still at least making some sort of motion in the direction of lifestyle change. Well lesse - the average (footlong, mind you) hotdog has about 24 grams of fat. Hotdogs tend to be high in fat anyway (considering they produce them from the junk parts of animals), and out of ignorance I shall assume the average hotdog is about half that, coming in at about 12 grams of fat. Compared to that (and my sources could be wrong buuuuuut) apparently bacon is worth 5 grams of fat per two slices, on average. Pastrami apparently has 11 grams of fat per serving on average - making it better than the hotdogs, but not by much. So what does this tell you? That the Hotdogs were actually the best thing to cut out - assuming you don't guzzle down the bacon and the pastrami.

Day Three may be delayed by a few hours today, thanks to an unexpected work situation. I will strive to make the delay minimal, but I'll be at the mercy of our work volume.

Well, I'm off to Virginia Beach for work. Let's hope it's warmer there! I won't be able to check in during the day (stupid client doesn't like us using our own laptops to get on the internet!) but I will check in each night.
