That plus NAF (seemingly) not being on anyone's radar. Whatever scum tells he left, he was not a typical vig choice. Cat was, but by then there was (false) precedent. And of course the (also false) interpretation of Guiri's role once he was killed.
I wonder whether Guiri and texcat being able to back each other against town suspicion influenced the NAF decision any (haven't read their board). What did you two think of the roleblock? Or weren't you killing that night?

I haven't been vanilla town in almost three years now. I was never vanilla town until LOTR, the last game I played in.

My original thought on the kill of CIAS not going through was that CIAS was the scum scotsman. Guiri wanted to kill you, Renata, the next night, but I wanted to stick with CIAS to prove he was the scum scotsman and clear crazypunker. I was still puzzled about it at game end, I thought I had been re-directed to Suburban and your kill had been blocked.
