This is making me really want to do Time Bandits game, with each Day's color a different spot on the map. Hmmm...

She just never votes day one, peeker - she has some superstition about it that if she does, her side loses. Although, I think we can agree that more recently, it would have benefited my faction more if I had voted Day One instead of waiting for people to hit me.

True dat.
More info on Nat - she has had a loooong stream of having the honor of being the mafia's first kill.
Or presumably the mafia's one day kill in a recent game. <_<

I disagree. Scum Masons break the definition of Mason. It's not a matter of "bad," it's a matter of effective communication. Mason has a meaning. Scum Mason is a contradiction of that meaning. We're on the same page here. I agree that Masons as a role should be inviolate, because I like it that way. But a scum Mason would be devastating to a Town group here, because we've trained ourselves to think of Mason as completely 100% percent, full stop. Other places don't, thus a scum Mason is not as damaging in their games. Because it isn't rare.

I don't really get the point of this hypothetical role. If the Masonry is not trusting of itself, what use is it? It would just be a smaller group of people sitting around suspicious of each other and one embedded Scum with a very up-close and personal view of various potential chinks in the Town armor to exploit. If the Masonry is trusting of itself, then the Town is severely handicapped out of the gate.

It is, in fact, a bad role, and any moderator using it is probably experimenting and will undoubtedly chalk it up as a failed experiment after it blows up in his face.

Somewhere I missed that pede actually used the role in a game. I thought we were talking about it hypothetically. *headsmack* Please say I wasn't in that game or I'll give up any hope of anything useful ever coming back out of my memory, and be resigned to my fate of recalling random trivial bits of information that have little to no use.

You weren't. It was the first super smasher brothers. And I think my 3rd pede game in a row where I was an odd mason.

Even if we don't get the last slot filled - the PMs will go out tomorrow and Day 1 will start immediately after. And then we shall begin

And now, for something completely different....
Roles have been randomized. Ulla is working on day 1 color. There will be no Night 0. We're just going to go right at it.
I will post a rules thread that also contains the player list. I will attempt to keep the player list current.
The rules may be changed at our discretion (in case we overlooked anything), but we will notify you both via the rules thread and within the game thread.

Sigh. What a week to miss mafia. Not only do I get lynched, but I missed these sign-ups, too.
