Also -- actions included now, or wait until after the claims and then figure that part out? My instinct say wait. I say wait

Renata, all this waffling about is making me more suspicious of you. Why not just full claim like everyone has seemed to do so far? You seem to be hung up on many details right now. To be honest, Idle, I'm a little shocked that anyone can have serious suspicions of me right now. I began the lynching wagon on FCOD and defended his closest competition. Two scum slammed votes on me yesterday; I was voting for one of them. Another scum voted me on day two for BS "oh goodness I sure don't understand why you're changing your vote so often" reasons. I've been playing my botty* off this game, I don't think I have ever worked harder. And what do I get? "Oh, I'm suspicious. I'm paranoid. You sure change your vote a lot." The masons have me as their freaking number one suspect. It's crazy. Something's wrong and I don't think it's me. Honestly, you've given off nothing but Town vibes all game. But I'd expect that out of a Scum you as well. My vote on you yesterDay was completely contrived to see who might bite on a wagon. And, we ended up getting 2 Scum to bite. I did, however, thought for sure that you kiled Joanie last Night. My mistake.

I know, Ed, just from my perspective it's a little more personal, even if it shouldn't be.
I'd like to get a vig role some day. I think.

There's a number of things about this role as presented that confuse me, and I'm not sure that now is the time to ask all of them, but I'd appreciate if you could get everything clarified by Julie before time to discuss actions comes up.

I'm having to work very hard to stifle a vote on guiri solely on the basis of claiming Scrappy Doo... So guiri, just to make things clear, you are essentially claiming a (somewhat non-standard) Vigilante role, correct? Renata, you said I'm not sure what if anything it means that you got 1 snack extra per night while it was unspecified for me. Did you not actually read your PM...you know, the one you posted? Because you told us [bolding mine in both quotes]

I think. you'd probably have sent in an order to Vig the Mod anyway *snerk* Funny thing about me and (solo) vig roles. I've never had one with this group of players, but I have gotten that role a couple of times elsewhere. I have always, every single time, been killed before I myself could kill anyone. My prediction is next time I will shoot blind on night one due to sheer paranoia of it happening again, hit the cop or the doc or some such, and wind up lynched for it.

@ Ed -- Good lord. No, I only had it in my head that I would get snacks every night; if I was ever aware of the word "extra" being there, I'd long since forgotten it.

About snacks, I keep forgetting the numbers/messing up the math. I started with 3, used 2. The next morning I had 7, so would have gained 6. I used 2. The next morning I had 10 (including one from Septimus), so would have gained 5 (not counting him). During the day I believe I got one from Ed. I used 2. This morning I have 12, so gained 3. Guiri, I don't understand the relation between you choosing to annoy a player and choosing to annoy in a place. What order do you need to send? Can you go back and doublecheck your numbers to see how many Snacks you received to begin Day 3 (excluding any you received from septimus)?

Is every player in a room? Whether they know it or not? My guess would be yes. And on the First Night, I was advised to Watch in the Wine Cellar, which is not accessible on my list (as going down the stairs to said cellar in my suit of armor would be clumsy at best).

I began day two with seven and day three with ten.
During day two nothing happened unless I missed a transfer somewhere (7). During night 2, I used 2 (5) and gained one from Septimus (6). So the "generic" transfer was 4, not 5. Told you my math on this stuff is atrocious.

Is every player in a room? Whether they know it or not? No, or at least they are not in the 9 rooms specified in my role PM. I need to choose a player and a room to annoy them in. If another player happens to be doing something else in that room, they may also be annoyed away. I suspect scum had to select a room to perform their Night kill (see the morning reveals) and possibly to perform some of their other actions. I don't believe it's an issue, the player will be in the room I choose. Even a kidnapped Daphne or something like that? I cannot submit a character name. There's a number of things about this role as presented that confuse me, and I'm not sure that now is the time to ask all of them, but I'd appreciate if you could get everything clarified by Julie before time to discuss actions comes up. Let me know what you'd like me to clarify and I'll ask the mod if necessary. I have a clear understanding of my role. I'm having to work very hard to stifle a vote on guiri solely on the basis of claiming Scrappy Doo... So guiri, just to make things clear, you are essentially claiming a (somewhat non-standard) Vigilante role, correct? Correct. I received 3 snacks at the start of the game, 6 D2, 5 D3 and 3 D4.

OK, I think I'm starting to see how it could fit together. I don't think I do: With 2 Scooby Snacks, you can choose to annoy away one player a Night. The more Snacks you have, the more annoying you get. With 4 Snacks, you might just be able to drive all witnesses from the room and out of the Hotel altogether. Your powers of annoyance are mighty, Scrappy. You will receive one extra Snack per Night. The Snack supply could end at any time, so you'll want to stock up if you can.You can choose among these 9 rooms to do your annoying: library ballroom attic garage drawing room billiards room wine cellar greenhouse gazebo If you do not choose a room, one will be assigned randomly. <font style="font-size: 12px;"> I cannot submit a character name. Vote: guiri

Okay, my turn. Sit back with some popcorn, folks, this is going to be a long post.
First of all, I'm Velma, the investigator. As you know, I was replacing Peeker, who seemed to vanish off of this earth (hope he's okay). I subbed in on Day Two. The PM Julie sent me reads as follows:
So apparently, if I lose my glasses (which, as per above, happens when I get 25 percent of the votes), they remain lost until they are found again. During the time they are lost, I cannot be Night-killed, however I also wouldn't be able to do investigations.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, the very first thing I made sure to ask was...
Me (to Julie):
Julie replied with:
Ah well.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
So, Night Two. I investigated Septimus since he was who I was going to vote for (finding him the most suspicious) on Day Two if FCoD had not A. Claimed Investigator and B. Later admitted he was scum
I wasn't even online while he was making the false investigator spiel, I only got on after he dropped the ruse and freely cavorted around as his real side, so by then, the vote was easy.
Anyway, I got back the answer that Septimus is Town:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This then made me think of another two questions to ask, which I then did...
Me (to Julie):
The answers came back as:
My own guess, however, is that Captain Pinkies (as ALPHA DOG) is someone (and hopefully the only person) who would have investigated as Town when really Scum (based on the use of "alpha" in his name).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Night Three I investigated Guiri, since I didn't like the fact that she had given all these reasons for finding FCoD suspicious on Day Two but, instead, chose to vote for someone else.
I got back the result that she's Town:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, to sum up: 1. I'm Velma, the Investigator 2. I'll lose my glasses if I get 25 percent of the votes (which, with the numbers now, would be three votes) 3. I will find anyone who votes for me suspicious (obviously). 4. I only have two results due to the fact Peeker didn't investigate Night One and I wasn't yet subbed in. 5. Septimus and Guiri both investigated as Town. With Captain Pinkies, the Alpha Dog, gone...it makes me lean more on the side of believing they both really are Town (although I don't know what 3rd party investigates as (yet)).

Except Guiri if my math is now right (big if), we did not get the same number of snacks on night three, though all the others match. Are you missing a day two transfer, maybe from Ed?
No other questions on your role, it's all slotted pretty much into place. If I weren't about 99.9% sure you are going to claim responsibility for Storyteller (presumably indirectly) and Joanie (presumably directly) I might be more persistent here in trying to work through all the ramifications, but as it is I see no point in it.

@ SisC, he's saying he can't submit "Daphne", he'd have to submit "Ed".
Though actually that is my one remaining question: if Ed's kidnapped, can Guiri target her?

Are you playing the mod, or other players?
I have quoted my role exactly as the PM was sent to me.
Unvote: guiri until I see if we get a counter-claim on Velma.

My brain was refusing to parse that in context of Lightfoot's question, though I still don't know how he could annoy, say, me, in the library if I spent the Night in the attic.

No, I received no snacks from anyone else but my math failed too. It was just 4 on Day 2, I've received a total of 16 snacks. Exactly, a fluke and intentional.
