Texcat, the behavior paranoia exhibited that I'm objecting to (and voting for) happened on Day Two, in reference to things that happened Day One, and on Day Three in reference to absolutely nothing. The things on Day One in and of themselves are pretty innocuous. Thanks peek and everyone. Really, it turns out I'm fine. Just been a shitty month or so until I got an answer (which was "no, really, nothing wrong with you. Your arm just looks weird.") well good. i thought it had to do with a tit.

and yaknow this has nothing to do with this game but what the fuck. did you ever notice - not in high school but definitely in college and later - that if you could get to the point that you were rubbing and sucking on a chick's boobs that you were pretty much guaranteed to get some? and if you didn't get to that point you were pretty much just getting a phone number and you could just hang it up for that night.

So hmmmmm. Vote: ParanoiaUntil I get a better handle on things. Thinking things through we are more likely looking at the quieter survivor types, those you wouldn't notice much change in as recruits. What?!?! Seriously this is your vote? Reading through I have confusion, Red thinking he may be sampled so we should burn him, Silver getting paranoid about being podded and having to make a choice. Seriously people if you have been sampled and successfully podded there is no choice you have been replace as an evil pod. Your priorities shift to win for the other side. As ours is to kill you. Power roles claiming? Always a question when is the best time to come forward and when is best to stay quiet? If we are obviously mislynching someone that has been cleared then maybe the Town Drunk should say something to prevent a non sampled death. Power roles need to proceed with caution to help us gain the knowledge but not die at the same time. It is unnerving that we lost 2 power roles 2 nights in a row so we don't want to lose all their information but at the same time we need them here to help us out. /oog Sister Coyote glad to read you are normal only weird. That is a relieve oog/

Deni: Always the chance of having been sampled. Hence why my vote is where it is. So you've made an unprovoked pseudo vanilla claim? The Town Drunk doesn't need to worry about being sampled and the Psychoanalyst is about to become the most dangerous role to the pods (unless s/he's already been podded). With two power roles dead already, you've reduced the pool for the remaining powers to hide in, why? I can see this as a valid D1 strategy when there's little to go on, i even mentioned it then, but we're in D3 and have already lynched the MPP. Do you think this is helping? What makes you think Inner recruited you, did you notice something in his posts? Day ends shortly and you are the current lynch leader, when do you expect to get a better handle on things?

If he's been podded, and is hoping we'll give him a pass toDay, he'll still be a potential recruit toMorrow and under scrutiny again, will he repeat the sacrifice vote every Day from here on out? If he's not a pod, unless he's got a very good reason why he's been sampled, I don't see how it helps us.

I'm not podded. However thinking this through I guess that is true. unvote
Vote: Sister CoyoteHowever reading things over she's keeping her vote from yesterday and for reasons that basically boil down to "He forgot about something he said therefore scum." First, good luck on the MRI, Sis. We're all pulling for you. And Deni, also, get well soon.
It's later in the Game. Inner was suggesting on Day One that powers out themselves, and that bothered me. Now that we're in the mid-Game, my attitude toward claims does change. This is not inconsistent; this is adapting to game play. That said, after further thought and a visit to the MRI this morning (nothing but time to think); I was wrong. You originally said, "I don't suppose I have to tell you my feeling on outing people before they "need" to be outed." But Today, you agreed with peeker on the role claims. You didn't say anything about why his argument met your criteria of "need" to be outed. You just went along with him. You claimed that you understood him, but I think we've shown that he was operating under a bad understanding of the rules. Did you notice that? Or did you just go along with him, thinking that yeah it would be good for my new scum team for the power roles to out themselves? And I sort of hate to pick on someone who is under medical care, getting MRI's, but most of your reasons for voting Paranoia have gone away. This is under the same category as SilverJan. Scummy behaviour on Day One should have only been shown by Inner Stickler, our only Day One scum. Anyone else who appeared scummy on Day One was just looking scummy; they were not scum at the time. Also piqued my interest and this is basically true. So right now if I don't flip sampled (assuming I'm lynched) I believe Sis C. has almost assuredly already been recruited.

I'm having a really difficult time wrapping my head around this game. I've already screwed up multiple times. I'm not sure what my issue is. I'm not sure what I think of guiri repeatedly OMGUS voting me--other than the fact that a) I voted for him early, and b) I am playing like complete crap, what's the case for me to be Scum?

For now, though, I think the best case I've seen so far is against Sister Coyote and her flip-flopping position on claims. Also, what is it with all of us getting MRIs? I had one Monday (and got the diagnosis Tuesday, which I wasn't expecting at all), which somewhat but not entirely explains why I've been playing so poorly. Anyway, I agree with texcat enough to vote.

It wasn't that he was the first to mention the NR claiming, just that he denied ever having done so at all. You didn't mention that as a reason for your vote: Vote: paranoia; I'm not as confident on the case, but unless I missed someone else's post he's the first to say the NR should claim. Not as confident compared to what? I pointed out that Red was the first to suggest the NR should claim and you replied: As far as Red; though he may have been sampled and on his way to the Gallows, I can think of reasons, given his role, he might have wanted to know who the NR was. No mention of Paranoia's denial, it was OK for Red to want to out the NR (and apparently Inner), but not for Paranoia? Texcat, the behavior paranoia exhibited that I'm objecting to (and voting for) happened on Day Two, in reference to things that happened Day One, and on Day Three in reference to absolutely nothing. The things on Day One in and of themselves are pretty innocuous. Your D3 vote is explicitly related to his denial but on D2 you voted him specifically for his D1 actions, not his denial.

No, it wasn't OK for Inner to want to out the NR. However, Inner never denied wanting to do so.
Also, my position on claims is NOT a flip-flop. There is a good reason for the TD to give us their results right now, as after toNight it is most likely they won't find anyone else. On Day One, however, short of a power role about to be lynched, there was no good reason for ALL of them to out themselves.
Again: there's a HUGE difference between "flip flopping" and adjusting to game conditions. I disapprove of mass claims on general principle, too, but when we come to the point in a game where the general consensus is that a mass claim is more beneficial to Town than Scum I go ahead and participate in them, too.
You want to vote me for changing my position, that's fine, but don't accuse me of randomly flip-flopping. I hadn't thought peeker's position through thoroughly. I have acknowledged that I was probably wrong in my assessment. But it does seem to me that the utility of the TD decreases as the game goes on.
Unless the MPP was allowed to sample us all, which given the death reveals I find extremely unlikely.

I tend to agree with this. The Town Drunk is only useful to us if we have the information they possess and this information could help us eliminate the pods. There is a distinctive difference between mass claiming and sharing information and let's face it a mass claim does very little in this game with the TD being the only one unable to be podded. Afterall, our sheriff could already be podded, as well as our Psychoanalyst.
