In a TV Booth overlooking the stockade
"Quiet bunch aren't they."
"Yup, been noisy on previous shows, but who knows maybe we will get some excitement later."
"Hey, this is the fun bit, first choice for the group. I wonder how they will react."
"Lets' find out"
Hello and welcome back to Wedlock, I'm Rick Rothman with the result of the first choice and our unlucky victim is Mahaloth
Let's watch know as they are all led out to their positions in the yard, and here they come. Votes placed and you can see the sweat on his face, knowing what's coming.
Is that nerves amongst the rest? It certainly is as they wait to see what happens next.
Here we go with the countdown. 5...4...3...2...1...
Somewhere a button is pressed, and a small beeping noise starts on Mahaloth's collar.
A moment or two later a second beeping starts. Looking around you see that deon's collar is also beeping.
A look of horror on Mahaloth's face as he squeezes his eyes shut up, hoping it will go away but to no avail. A loud explosion scatters his head across the nearby contestants, shortly followed by a cry of "No, No, Noooo..." as a second collar explodes covering more of you in gore.
Wow, Look at that. Great coverage on that scatter, they look shocked indeed, even if they did know it was coming.
And now let's look at which team they were in...Linda, show us the scores.
A scoreboard comes up with pictures and two red crosses through two faces, a red border around Mahaloth and a blue border around Deon, obvious against they grey borders for everyone else.
And there we have it folks.
Mahaloth was a member of the Red Team
Deon was a member of the Blue Team
Night 1 has now started and will end at Friday 16:00 GMT.
A question to all: Would it help if Dusk/Dawn was at 8pm GMT instead of 4pm?

I don't have a preference either way as both times will generally fall during work and I won't have computer access.

Well done guys! The time change wouldn't help me at all but I think I might be in the minority there.

Alas, poor Deon. At least you went out taking scum with you.
The time doesn't make much of a difference to me. It works either way in my time zone and schedule.

BAM!
This is going to be a weird game, though, if good news is going to be tempered with bad all the time.
No preference from me regarding time. However, I will almost certainly be entirely nonparticipatory for most of the next four real-life days, as I have no fewer than FOUR Thanksgivings to attend. On a related note, if I slip into a long-term food coma, I'll get my wife to finish out the game on my behalf.

Yay!
Farewell Mahaloth and Deon!
Either time is the same for me.
Happy thanksgiving!

Yaaaaay for mahaloth. Booooo for deon. I don't have a preference for times either, although I will say that I am more likely to be asleep at 4 PM GMT than 8 PM GMT.

Is strategy allowed at night or strict fluff?

8 PM GMT would be noon my time. I would be more likely able to participate end of day. But I'll go with the majority

Like others, I have no particular preference.
Like Story, I am likely to be unavailable for the better part of the next four days, though I am taking both my phone and my mini-laptop with me.

plug moment Pedescribe has signups for a game on the Dope based around the concept of bodicerippers, so if you're like me and enjoy having two games going so that night isn't completely boring, come on over and sign up. Link

Glad that we got a scum on Day 1!
Sad to see Deon go, however.
Now, to go take a shower to wash Deon's brains out of my hair.

I find it ironic that lynching either Deon or Mahaloth (the main wagons!) would have given the same result Collars have a good side! In other good news, I found my passport, which I have been searching for (and panicking) for two days! Going to London to see Phantom of the Opera this weekend, which means my availability will be way down (probably to zero) on Sat & Sun.

Since we can't talk shop tonight I would like to offer up a slight defense of my winey whining yesterDay: I have been living in my camper since August 9, mostly by myself, gahhh. It was great fun for, oh lets say, A WEEK! I should go to the SD and post a rant. Sorry for taking up your pixels. Happy Thanksgiving, I think we are having a cornish hen, it's the only thing that will fit in the oven with a couple of potatoes, hahahaha.

I have no defense of my winey comments, I was just drunk. I have loads of excuses but they don't excuse me. As most of you know, my husband had an operation for colon cancer. His son flew out from Mauritius to help us, we hadn't seen hide nor hair of him for 5 years, he was amazing. (whether he was waiting for dad to die or was really helpful, god knows. Anyway, I will try and be good in future
