You know, I've just watched a movie where someone's head exploded from too much information.
What, you want to try and do the same to our contestants instead of using the collars.
Nah, I was going to make them watch the movie instead and let them beg to have their head blown off.*
Hi, I'm your host Rick Rothman and welcome back to Wedlock.
And this is it, according to the reports we are down to the final five. That's right, it's getting close now, but let's see who didn't make it to the New Year.
So, Linda, according to the reports, someone is now tomato puree, although that may be an exaggeration, but who was it, please...show us the scoreboard.
The scoreboard comes round, now covered in crosses with only a few remaining squares unmarked. This time, one new box has a cross on it, over PaulWhoIsAGhost, and the border around him marked in blue.
PaulWhoIsAGhost was a member of the Blue team
And there we go folks, thanks for joining us, I'm your host Rick Rothman and keep watching to find out what can happen next.
Day 8 will end at 8pm GMT on Thurs 5th Jan
*Yes, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull really was that bad.

I'd ask why, but I guess you're above actually playing the game when you play it.
vote Special Ed
This is stupid. Damned if I'm going to be beaten by this ridiculous tactic.

Actually, to elaborate:
I think Ed is Scum. I think he developed this absurd "playstyle" to enable him to do, say, or vote any way he wants and take no responsibility for it. I think I cannot see a single pro-Town reason for a single action he has taken, from the opening bell through this moment. Now he's voting for me - because I drew a few votes yesterDay, on a wagon led by Paul (who has been killed, no doubt to lend weight to the wagon against me) - but without justifying it. He's hoping he can get an easy, bandwagon mislynch of me (and I guess, if he has a partner out there, win thereby).
And here's the thing: if his routine works - if the Scum win the game because one of them managed to act so Scummy that everyone just assumed he couldn't, in fact, be - it's going to ruin Mafia forever. This is a lousy way to play and I am determined that it will not succeed.
Vote Special Ed in 2012.
---
For the rest:
Yeah, my participation has flagged. I was in Disney World, which I promise you would have happened regardless of my alignment :-) I have been as active a player as I could manage and I think a review of my posts will show this.
Of the remaining players:
Sister Coyote is Town.
I, for my part, think Caerie is credible and likely Town. The gadget she has claimed would be nearly a requirement to give the Town a chance in light of all the double deaths. For her to be Scum with this gadget is unlikely.
If there is a second Scum after Ed, I expect that it is scathatch; however, my read on him is shaky. I will spend toDay investigating this.

Nah, I'm just not going to repeat myself.
And yes, you were in Disney world.
Looking at your recent 100 posts...
Day 8 1. You think Ed Is Scum because of his new playstyle. You think Sister is Town for no reason whatsoever. You think Caerie is town because of her claimed gadget. 2. You vote for Ed Night 7 3. You were gone, you're back. Day 7 Night 7 Day 6 4. Comments on Ed's vote (which had actual reasoning that you call bizarre. Ed's reason being you seemed focused on him and his playstyle and very little else. Let's see if that holds up.). You claim that the other votes have no reason. You register a vote for Ed, but finalize your vote on Lightfoot 5. You're going to be gone 6. You don't like Ed's playstyle Night 5 7. Ooops, I missed End of Day Day 5 8. The people who have claimed gadgets are probably not all lying. You've been busy, but have free time the next day to look at Lightfoot, sinjin, and Ed. You also ask Ed about his soft claim Night 4 9. You ask about unaligned as it pertains to 3rd party or PFK 10. Maybe colby isn't Scum or Town. Now, you'll look at everything else. Day 4 11. You are re-reasding and commenting. You ask inner Stickler how he knew that colby was just 3rd party. 12. You've been busy. You ask if the person we tried to lynch didn't die, but an effective Topwn player did. (That should have been apparent) Night 3 Day 3 13. You're very busy and will catch up 14. Fluff Night 2 15. This is frustrating Day 2 16. One off votes are useless for vote analysis, and you know your own alignment 17. You lay some suspicion on Lightfoot for thinking Scum might not have known with whom they were linked 18. You defend your stance that one of the Mahloth voters is likely to be Scum because of the speed of his bandwagon. You defend your vote to paul and Pollux. 19. You summarize Day 2 (it almost looks like participation). You list your primary suspicions as colby and Lightfoot. You vote for Lightfoot for the vote on Silver Jan as well as seeming to know if Scum know with whom they are linked 20. You've been gone Night 1 21. You are going to be busy Day 1 22. You approve of lynching Mahaloth. You don't want to lynch deon. You detail the bandwagon on him and assign scumminess to the 4 voters. Little for Archangel, some for colby and Ginger, more for Lightfoot. You vote Mahaloth 23. You are caught up. You ask Sister why a reasonaless vote is worse than a badly reasoned vote. You question Silver Jan on her reasoning for votes. You dont like the bandwagon for deon. You don't like how Ed posts 24. You don't like Ed's playstyle 25. You were busy. You will catch up. 26. You comment on Ed's comment that some discussion is bad for Town because it reveals things that can clue the Scum into things. 27. You describe a long ago instance of PIS as an explanation of the term.

1. I think Sister Coyote is Town because she claimed Mason along with gnarlycharly, who is now dead. Are you even bothering at this point, or do you think you can bandwagon me into a quick win that easily?
2. Your post is an accurate summary of my participation so far. Did you have a point? My participation has been less vigorous than I'd have liked, but life gets in the way at times. I stand by the points I've made, and have attempted throughout to provide explanation and justification for the actions I have taken. Do you think a similar summary of your own posts would show the same?

I stand by the points I've made, and have attempted throughout to provide explanation and justification for the actions I have taken. Do you think a similar summary of your own posts would show the same? By my calculations (and the total exceeds your number of posts because sometimes you cover more than 1 point in a post: 9 posts: You're busy/catching up 6 Posts: You don't like Ed's playstyle 6 posts: Mechanics/general strategy 4 posts: Accuse Lightfoot 2 posts: Accuse Mahloth 2 posts: Fluff 2 posts: Questions 2 posts: Don't support Deon lynch 1 post: Sister is Town 1 Post: Caerie is Town My case is that you've participated weakly even when you've been present. Early on you opposed the lynch of deon. (I can see this for Townie Cred) Early on, you supported a lynch of Mahloth. (Also for townie Cred as you didn't push this as strongly as you did a Lightfoot lynch) The only player aside from me that you've really strongly pressured was Lightfoot. You're Scum. It's obvious to me. But I'm not going to play this like Alpha Centauri. If we lose, we lose. It's my new playstyle ;D

I have to admit, Ed, I'm not liking what I'm seeing here. Yeah, I forgot about the mason claim stuff. I'm not really paying too much attention. Doesn't necessarily make me Scum, does it? Considering d7 was a total of 1 page and 1 post long, you're saying you literally popped in to say "vote storyteller" with no justification and then didn't bother to read any more? Of the players left: SisterC - confirmed town now with the mason claim Caerie - Lean town, because I think the only way scum wouldn't go for a confirmed mason to night kill is if they were afraid of Caerie's gadget. (I know, I know, anytime you think "scum wouldn't do that", just stop) So I think either special ed or storyteller is scum. Special Ed: Managed to miss a freaking mason claim! Despite rereading the whole game to get storytellers posts, didn't even reread yesterday. (and by reread, I mean read). Storyteller: His most vocal critic was NK'd. And he's been a lynch candidate twice already only to have a townie die instead. Honestly I'm down to WIFOM on whether Paul was NK'd in order to make storyteller look bad, or to stop him going after storyteller

Alternatively, everyone can say nothing. I would love to have more to say, but every time I think I'll have a chance to go back and look at previous Days something comes up at work, or my parents (who are STILL here) decide we're going out to do something.

OK, here's where I'm at right now.
Based entirely on his post toDay, Scathach seems Scummy. He doesn't really say anything. Story, you already know about. Caerie is Scum if Scathach and storyteller aren't both Scum.
But personally, I'd rather lynch storyteller because I really just want this game to end and I want to be able to do alittle happy dance because I was right.

My case is that you've participated weakly even when you've been present. OK. I reject this assertion as false on its face. I admire you, though, for having the chutzpah to, as Scum, accuse someone else of weak participation given your own record. Genuinely. I seriously hope it's not going to work - because I really don't want the way you've played to become de rigeur in the future - but it takes some balls to run a bluff this long and this enthusiastically. I'm not going to bother with the rest of it. I think the weakness of your argument stands on its own. You're Scum, you have to spin as you will.

Ugh, I'm so freaking torn. vote storyteller[/color] I think that thinking PWIAG was targeted just to throw suspicion on him might be a little too pat and twee of a theory. Special ed's decision that I'm scum based on one post is rubbing me up entirely the wrong way, this "new playstyle" thing is getting irritating. It's freaking me out a little that no one's around though
