Given the state of the game, and the intentions and reasonable courses of actions of the remaining players, the game is now over. The game state is: Town01. Witch - Mr Special Ed06. Detective - Nanook - Killed Night Five 09. Vicar - hirkatbawa13. Warlock - Inner Stickler15. Scotsman - CatInASuit17. Coroner - septimus - Killed Night Three - Alive Day Five 18. Witch - scathach - Killed Night Two - Zombified Night Four 20. Freemason - JustBeingGinger - Killed Night One - Zombified Night Three 21. Witchdoctor - Merestil Haye - Killed Night Four 23. Witch - Idle Thoughts - Killed Night Seven Wolves05. Alpha Wolf - texcat - Lynched Day Two - Zombified Night Two 25. Werewolf - deon24. Werewolf - mahaloth - Lynched Day One - Zombified Night One 12. Werewolf - Pollux Oil - Lynched Day Three 04. Werewolf - colby11 - Lynched Day Five 14. Omega Wolf - Sister Coyote - Killed Night Seven Undead08. Necromancer - Drain Bead - Killed Night Five Cabal02. Cabalist - Hoopy Frood03. Cabalist - BillMc - Killed Night Six 07. Cabalist - Silver Jan - Lynched Day Four 10. Cabalist - gnarlycharlie11. Cabalist - peekercpa - Lynched Day Six 16. Cabalist - Suburban Plankton19. Cabalist - Boozahol Squid22. Cabalist - guiri - Killed Night Three With lynch at a stalemate, and the only participating player with a Night-kill, being both Town and unblockable, the Town cannot be stopped from winning. Congratulation to the remaining Town players, both dead and alive. Secret Boards (give me a few minutes to open up) idlemafia.com/index.cgi?board=consp5modidlemafia.com/index.cgi?board=consp5witchidlemafia.com/index.cgi?board=consp5wolfidlemafia.com/index.cgi?board=consp5cabalAs always, I welcome comments, suggestions and other feedback. I'm already planning several changes: 1. Any player who does end a Day with an active vote, will be auto-blocked for that Day and the following Night. Plus, they will receive a permanent penalty vote that will make them easier to lynch. 2. Splitting the rules into a basic "here's how things work" and detailed "here's how all the complicated things are resolved". Basic rules need to be simpler. And there's still a lot of corner cases where powers interact that I want to spell out, but don't really matter to most players most of the time. Thank you to everyone who played!

In case you don't want to read through lots of setup, I had the unblockable kill power and I killed Sister Coyote.

Thanks Pleo, it was a great game, I loved being able to talk to my team mates even though I was dead. I don't know if I was allowed to do this but I did ask Deon if he was still playing the game, that must have been the last time he signed in. I feel very disappointed that a fellow South African let us down.

In case you don't want to read through lots of setup, I had the unblockable kill power and I killed Sister Coyote. That's what I was referencing in the game. I was thinking you might have been a vigilante with our secret power. But killing guiri didnt fit the pattern. Drain and sister did

Yeah, I was all twisted up in knots about what I revealed and what I didn't. I was paranoid that whatever mechanism resulted in two deaths on days 4 and 6 hadn't been nullified and I was afraid that if I let it be known that I had an NK I'd make myself its target, or town could be convinced to lynch me. I've never been good at playing things close to the vest.

I was SO ANGRY with myself for missing posting right before Dawn about Deon being a Wolf. But it actually worked out better for the Town that I didn't since if I had he probably would have gotten lynched which likely would have lead to a Cabal victory. Funny how things work out.

Whee! Go town! Nice job pegging me as witch Pollux Thanks! I'm still a little miffed you guys decided to investigate me. BOOOOO! If I had lived another night I would have tried to convince the wolves to target Idle. BAH! Next time I'll just request Omega Wolf. P.S. Hoopy did an amazing job as the lead Cabalist.

Thanks Pleo! I enjoyed the game, and enjoyed following along after my early death. With so many boards to follow along on, this game is more fun than most to watch. Is there a reason that dead wolves don't get to stick around to talk to the other wolves like the witches and cabal do?
ETA: And congrats to the town! Ed was correct, you played well.

I was actually jealous of those who didn't have to stick around and talk to their team - I really REALLY wanted to see the spoiler boards

Thanks Pleo! Great game...and it's interesting having read the various other boards how many times the various factions came close to making different decisions that would have completely changed the direction of the game. Count me in for C6

Is there a reason that dead wolves don't get to stick around to talk to the other wolves like the witches and cabal do? I want to give Cabal that specific advantage. It's the hardest faction to play; I think they need the added boost of wisdom from the departed.

We'll blame boozy for disappearing on us. Things would have been quite different had we been able to get Inner lynched instead of you that day. And with Boozy we could have done it, without him, we could only get a tie between you two and it would have outed us all immediately.

Yeah, I think one of the biggest lessons here is just how important it is to show up and participate.

Yeah, I think one of the biggest lessons here is just how important it is to show up and participate. Towards the end of the Day of my demise, I actually thought about throwing a fake freak out and saying that deon and hirka were my fellow Witches. I felt like that would have been pushing it too much, though, although nobody was believing me when I said we'd "investigated" Idle so having two non-participating members as fellow Witches would have lent more credence to me getting "everyone" to agree with investigating Idle the first Night. Quick poll, would anybody have believed me?

But I did keep fearing that deon and hirka were actually Witches 2 & 3, and that Ed and Idle were about to pull off the greatest double-bluff in history.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I really like the idea of a penalty vote for failing to vote as well as the automatic lynch for meeting the vote threshold. (Although, that latter part could get hinky, especially in conspiracy.)

I went back and forth on whether to target Idle or not; I probably could have been swayed if Charlie'd been leaning that way. That said, though, when it was down to just Deon and I, I kind of had to leave both Witches and hope they investigated me to have had any chance at all. And if there's no reason to get my hands dirty, I won't, generally speaking.

Hey, using deon as your killer at the end was good play. Why risk yourself being possibly discovered? It's not as if he's around to protest.
I'm just glad that hirka and deon really were no shows and not just hiding. Because I would have been really annoyed.

(Although, that latter part could get hinky, especially in conspiracy.) How about a penalty vote for failing to post, rather than for failing to vote? I believe that was used in a previous game or two (Holy Grail, perhaps?)
