So basically you posted 2 times in Day 2 and the first post was throwing suspicion on Gadarene for really no reason, kind of just a feeling. You give Meeko a pass and say that being aggressive on Day 1 is not scummy after all, but then you suspect Gadarene who was acting the same as Meeko. Then your 2nd post of the Day is voting for mchlle71 for just a hunch... Do you have anything other than hunches and feelings about who might be scum? Nope but my life gets in the way of the game. I don't have a ton of extra time to read everything. I read everything up until I made my vote, but I will be honest I didn't have time the rest of the weekend to dedicate to catching up on everything so I let my vote stand. Forgive me if celebrating my Grandfather's 89th birthday with my family was more important to me on my ONE day off this week rather than reading the mafia board. Let me clarify the Meeko/Gadarene for you. Meeko was being very aggressive and it came off as an attack on Pleonast. Mind you I don't know any of these people, but I dislike bullies and Meeko was being a bit of a bully imo and then he got a little crazy there for a bit, however I just chalked it up to a personality misunderstanding because there is no inflection in text. Gadarene was a different situation entirely. A comment Gadarene had made about sometimes the most helpful nice person on the board will turn out to be scum combined with the fact that many of the more seasoned players think that scum is being coached by someone that has more experience. I believed that when it was stated in the beginning of Day 2 and I still believe that. I also stated that maybe my paranoia was getting the better of me when it came to Gadarene.

Actually, that was my first thought, sans smiley. That reads very much to me as a "Ok, I need to say something to pretend I'm upset town was lynched here" statement. this seems like a scum slip up...my suspicions are raised! Please explain a bit more

I understand that Crys is talking about a specific Meeko instance, but I've been ruminating about Meeko's bully attitude throughout Day Two. It is rather harsh a lot of the time, but he seems to be the only one who does this (to such an extreme), so I'm not sure if it's a scum tell or just the way he is. I don't believe the bulk of his comments to be misunderstandings of inflection, but the extent to which he goes to gang up on others is rather disturbing. One one hand, I think he could be very vicious town, which is good. On the other, being so hardcore ALL THE TIME rubs me wrong - it's like the ultimate deflection, ya know?

Three people commented before me that they were sorry we had a mislynch and yet you only appear to find it suspicious when I say the same thing. Absolutely, why not? If they said what they said in a clear manner with no equivocating, then that's going to be a much different situation than your "Wow I was nearly lynched too bad about Mchelle71 ok nothing left to see here moving on to these other topics..." post: Phew that was close but frustrating that we still got a mislynch after all that. And now we wait again. Do we think there will be the same amount of deaths overnight? It seems unlikely to be just the one after last time, but I'm still not sure how they all died. These roles are very confusing.

How are you defining "gang up on others"? And where is this compared to the concept of bandwagons. I have but one vote, others are waggonin. If you ask me, the latter is "gang up on others" the former is just me being vocal with my reasons.

That previous post is a screwed up quote. The why is me writing to Meeko asking him why he wishes he had more experience with me here.

It isn't the fact that a mislynch was pointed out...it was the wording

Phew that was close but frustrating that we still got a mislynch after all that. Not that I am a fan of lianne, but to me this is clear enough. I read it to mean: Phew, that was too close for comfort and sure was frustrating, but even though we managed to mislynch me, we still managed to mislynch someone else.

LadyRogue Here's a novel concept. How about voting BEFORE the end of the day. I put in a placeholder vote earlier in the day because I knew that I probably wasn't going to be on at the very end.
You have expressed zero thoughts/feelings/suspicions, and have placed zero DAY votes. What's your purpose in playing in this game? Do you have no thoughts to share, because you know who the scum players are already??? Very Very suspicious to me.

I read it to mean: Phew, that was too close for comfort and sure was frustrating, but even though we managed to mislynch me, we still managed to mislynch someone else. And if you go back to Day Two, you will find that I was advocating for lynching lianne. Frankly, I can not believe anyone voted for anyone else given the evidence. It makes me think I do not completely understand the game yet. I still believe lianne is scum, I just do not think that the post in question qualifies as evidence. That people read it that way is confirmation bias in my opinion. Frankly, in just two days I have grown weary of misreadings and misquotings and mislynchings. The mislynching of Mchelle71 could not have been more inept. We need to read and quote ( please!) much more carefully and stop acting like Keystone Cops.

Rich I completely agree with you on your opinions of lianne. But....at this point LadyRogue pings me so much more with her snotty attitude and lack of participation that I'm really leaning in her direction.
When does DAY 3 start?

I know there have been errors and such so I don't know what to think.

I love that I even previewed the above post and the quote still didn't end up showing correctly LOL LOL! But this has been a problem. It got mchelle71 mislynched. You cannot edit the bad quote, but try and do it again while we are still in Night One. The game is hard enough without bad quotes all over the place.
