A CRAZY TOWNIE HAS BEEN TRIFLED WITH! IN A HUGE, CRAZY RAGE, HE LASHES OUT AND KILLS SOMEONE WITH HIS BARE HANDS BEFORE HE DIES HIMSELF.
Colby, please give me the name of any player to take with you to death. You can do this either in this topic or message me. You are then dead. <snip>bleached My money (like I have any) says that Colby's death is going to be drawn out a couple of days. Looking at his posts, he is not here much on weekends.

ah Colby nice to know there was 2 of us. Sorry to see you go I will be gone most of the weekend but will check in and read when I can. LOL welcome back to the dead, nice door the mod has on this game, darn shame he has to use it so often. Why do people sign up for a game and not play. Pleonast? Where are you

Why is Pleonast still here? Has a Doctor protected him all three nights? Or is he Scum himself? Or why would the Scum not NK him given his power claim? I really hope a doctor has not successfully protected him from a nightkill, because that would mean scum have four kills each night. That said, it's important to keep in mind the game-within-a-game going on between scum and the docs. We have juicy, tempting targets that scum would love to kill. We have unremarkable, unconfirmed vanilla townsfolk that would probably not be targeted. Who do you protect? Who do you kill? That's the whole WIFOM scenario. Scum might be taking out those who they feel are least likely to be protected. Conversely, there might be a doc who is hoping the power players are getting their protection elsewhere so s/he can try and make a lucky guess on a someone who scum think would be unprotected.

Ok, re-read... Texcat, if you meant Malahoth and silver jan, in your comment, how could scum have tried to kill one do them and Kill someone else instead? Yes, obviously I meant Jan and Mahaloth, that's who I quoted. Jan was wondering why she and Mahaloth were still alive. It seems pretty obvious at this point that scum have 3 kills a day. We've seen all of the special roles. I presume that Guiri1.0 was responsible for killing scum on Nights 1 & 2. And he's claimed responsiblity for wombat last Night. There were 3 other kills Night 1 & 2, and only 2 last Night. Hence my guess that the 3rd kill ran into a protection. Meeko, who do you think would have killed you for using the F-bomg? Scum, Town, or Mod? It's not like it hasn't been used before in these games. It doesn't make sense to me that it suddenly became a cause of death.

I don't have much time for the long weekend, but there is one thing I have to ask the MOD:
Idle, I'm quite curious as to how you have lurking players replaced by sub-ins. Why did you have subs for amyliz (who at least showed up in Day 1) and sharon first, but not Roosh?

too bad about wombat. s/he struck me as townie.
Hal, too bad you didn't sniff scum last Night. well, you can't have it all. i was suspicious of you at first but i think that only a townie would do what you did.
i'm also interested in kagemoto's comment about Roosh. is Idle replacing new players first because he hopes Roosh will eventually show up or because he's lurking here but active elsewhere?

Wow, what are scum up to? I am glad we are both still here though. These posts are pinging me. *Is* there a separate Mason discussion board? It was mentioned that *sometimes* Masons have their own board. As was discussed a bit at the end of Day3 - we really don't have confirmation yet that Mahaloth and Silver Jan are masons. This post just irritates me, smudging 2 living Masons with a 3rd, now dead, Mason that acknowledged them is a bit much. Yes I was glad to be alive, I suspected that either Mahaloth or I would be killed and I was about ready to ask for spoilers so it was a nice surprise. Scum making a Mason claim has been done before and they got away with it because there were no "real" Masons in the game. In this game we know there are Masons and for scum to try and claim would be really risky, not to say idiotic, of them. As I have mentioned before, the game did start with more than 3 Masons and I have no intention of telling you who they are, that is up to them. In this particular game the Masons do not have a separate board, we do know each other though.

I had no idea that amy showed up on day one and roosh didn't...so you can't expect me to fill in people in order of activity, haha.

To be honest, if I can't expect a MOD to fill in people in order of activity, then I don't know what I should expect either. If a sub-in is needed and activity (or lack of activity) is not the basis of who should be subbed in, what else can I expect? Also this is an apparent sign that Roosh is a Vanilla in this game. If Roosh is a Power Role and is absent for 3 Days, there is no way that the MOD has no idea that he is inactive.

I have had my say and I am not as irratated as I was ;D I think dizzymrslizzy is on to something. I know I have voted for her for the last 2 days but surely I am allowed to change my mind. There is a least one person that I wouldn't dream of voting for (yes, the other Masons too, I don't want to give away how many there are) Vote LadyRogueIt is quite frustrating trying to play with someone that doesn't want to play along. I'm not sure if she is scum 'cos as scum she might have been coached but she has done enough, or little enough, that Town is probably better off without her. I really hate it when people sign up for a game and then can't be arsed to play. It makes the Mods job difficult, it frustrates other players no end. As LightFoot says, there isn't a Pony or a box of Chocolates at the end of the game, the game is it so play it. Did I really say that I wasn't irritated, have some bunnies

A CRAZY TOWNIE HAS BEEN TRIFLED WITH! IN A HUGE, CRAZY RAGE, HE LASHES OUT AND KILLS SOMEONE WITH HIS BARE HANDS BEFORE HE DIES HIMSELF. Yeah, I also feel this is going to be a while before coming back. And it is messing up the game. Conversation is stifled, because we are too busy thinking it is pseudo night again, with another kill coming any second now. We are too busy scared of this, and it takes away from us playing the game.
I take issue with how you worked the mechanic of Crazy Townie with this game. I thought A Crazy Townie could only take out someone that voted for them, randomly. This just stalls out a game further, from a point that has, frankly already stalled.

Texcat's statement in D03.034 is, at first glance, fairly damning. But, looking at the context, Texcat is quoting Silver Jan who was quoting Mahaloth and (if I deduce correctly) they're both claimed Masons. It's entirely possible that she's saying "I'm surprised the Mafia didn't kill one of you (two Masons)." Also, the sort of mistake you're accusing Texcat of is a beginner's mistake. Texcat is better than that - she just went through Days 2 - 5 of a game as a Serial Killer (basically Guiri's role in this game) without getting more than a few raised eyebrows.

Ok, re-read... Texcat, if you meant Malahoth and silver jan, in your comment, how could scum have tried to kill one do them and Kill someone else instead? Supermel who pointed out my saying "one of you" saw his error even before I responded: Yes, obviously I meant Jan and Mahaloth, that's who I quoted. Then later, Suits101 quotes the original comment, but does not remark on Supermel's correction or my response. Texcat, just wondering about your choice of words here, why would u say, 'one of you .... Wouldn't you say tried to kill one of us or tried to kill town? Nice catch. And Meeko decides to throw down a vote based on this? Enough for me. Vote: TexcatAre you two (Suits and Meeko) skimming? Or are you scum trying to throw suspicions anyway and anywhere you can? I was also pinged on my re-read on Day 2 by someone being surprised at being alive. Meeko said:Meeko, can you explain why you weren't expecting to be here? And what about your performance on Day 1 made you think that? I dropped the F bomb. Fuck Meeko!!! Get real, that;s not the only reason that you expected to be dead. OMG I dropped the fucking F Bomb!

If we didn't already know it couldn't be the case from the setup, I'd think that Meeko had a special role who had to try and cast suspicion on anyone who was semi-confirmed as town.

Recall the first Day, when CIAS, BillMc and Meeko -- all experienced players -- started a bandwagon on Pleonast, which was finally staved off by other experienced players led by Gadarene, who we now know was Town. As Inner Stickler pointed out, the bandwagon against Pleo likely had Scum support.
CIAS' initial vote was a joke (he wasn't even aware Pleo had claimed town Power), and I doubt Scum would be so casual. CIAS' further contributions seem Townish. BillMc flipped Town of course, so my suspicion (like that of Septimus #1) falls on Meeko.
And Meeko has continued to smudge players on poor grounds, even claiming our Masons may be untruthful. (Surely real Masons would have counterclaimed by now, if only to prevent Doctors from wasting their Power.)

(Surely real Masons would have counterclaimed by now, if only to prevent Doctors from wasting their Power.) That's the one I have the hardest time wrapping my head around. Let me get this part out of the way -- I don't think Meeko is scum*. He's being far too blatant in his attempts to shift suspicion onto everyone who doesn't deserve it, to the point of "scum wouldn't do that". But I can't quite figure out exactly what his deal is. He's acting so scummy that I'm of the mind that he's not scum, but hey, that glass of wine is looking awfully tempting. *(in case anyone is thinking I'm breadcrumbing, I'm not -- I haven't investigated him)

Though Meeko and Silverjan also are coming across as scummy (almost too scummy to be ) or are they just having an ingame go at each other .
