If we think that MHaye self-protected last Night, we should try to kill him again Tonight. He should not be able to self-protect two nights in a row. It might make sense that as a player who just subbed in, MHaye was not caught up enough to know who to protect and just protected himself last Night. Vote: MHaye
if you really can't self-protect two nights in a row, MHaye sounds good to me. Can a Doctor protect the same non-self person night after night? Hal could be a good one to kill if we think there's a chance there. We're going to need to get rid of him, but I'm a bit wary of missing twice in a night if we try for both of them. I don't know if Kagemoto has any Powers, but I wouldn't mind too much if he revolves right back on in again, so no worries about knocking him off from me. Same with jmj697mn. So, prelim votes from me: MHaye Kagemoto jmj697mn

Okay, I would love for someone to check my math here: 34 Townies left -8 Scum left =26 Townie kills needed for a win
So it seems to me that if we can get a couple more mislynches and don't hit too many protected targets, we could really have a shot at this game. Go Team!
Thoughts for toNight- 1. we have the only NKs left in the game 2. we have eliminated the unknown roles (2 Crazy Townies & 1 Serial Killer) 3. Masons: there are 3 LEFT (SilverJan, Mahaloth, and ?) 4. Detectives: we killed one (francescaj), we know one (Hal), THERE MAY BE MORE 5. Doctors: we killed one (Septimus), THERE MAY BE MORE
Therefore: we have 4 KNOWN Power Roles left in the game, there are potentially (likely? anyone know?) several more.

I'm really relieved that we have the only NKs.
the masons are fairly concerned that they're going to die... but if they really don't have their own board and can't figure things out in advance, why does it matter that they're alive? There's only one left who isn't confirmed, so, to me, they don't have a big advantage anymore.

Doctors and Detectives are the priorities. Once the Doctors and Detectives are cleared out, it does make sense to kill the Masons. Their presence makes the town decision on who to lynch marginally easier since everyone is sure they are town.

I agree with your math, except for 5. Doctores, we killed one (Septimus) and there must be at least one more (who saved MHaye) and THERE MAY BE MORE.
And I agree that masons are not a priority, but out of the 26 townies, we currently have 2 known masons, 1 unknown mason, and 1 townie investigation from Hal. These are people who are not going to be mis-lynched and make the pool for us to hide in smaller. As the game goes on, they will be more of a priority. BTW, I suspect that Hal investigated kagemoto, so his death may be a doubly-good thing.
I guess Guiri is going to continue voting me Tomorrow. Luckily his votes haven't seem to caught a lot of traction yet, but I think they might soon. I hope he points out his record as Guiri-1.0 a few more times. If I didn't know better, I would think that he was re-incarnated as scum and keeps trying to point out his record of killing scum in a previous life to try to clear himself in his new life.

so it's awfully late in the Night to say this, but I just had a new thought.
Whichever Doctor protected MHaye last night knows they succeeded, right? And, the other doctors (if there are others) might believe that they protected someone who was going to be attacked. So, theoretically, wouldn't they ALL keep their protection the same if that is allowed? in that case, would it be bad to try and hit MHaye? unless he self-protected (my original thought) and can't do so again, of course...

The Doctor does not know that the protection succeeded because he/she does not know if MHaye was targeted. All that is "known" is that one Doctor was successful, but this is still based on assumptions that are not completely nailed down yet. Assume the Doctor feels that he/she successfully protected someone last night. The Doctor might think that the Scum will target someone else tonight and so change the protection to a different player UNLESS the Doctor thinks the Scum will think that's what the Doctor will do and so the Scum target the same player UNLESS..... WIFOM It is not impossible that whoever protected MHaye last Night switches to protect someone else tonight and another doctor switches protection from someone else to MHaye...both completely ignorant of the other.

@amy- "they" don't know who we targeted. And "they" have hypothesized that we only have 2 kills now anyway. I think the Doctor (and thank you Texcat, for pointing out my mistake, more eyes are always better) will only know that his/her protection worked if we manage to kill MHaye toNight and we hit all three. Otherwise, they may keep wondering...at least I hope so.
