And there shall in that time be rumors of things going astray, and there will be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things with the sort of raffia work base, that has an attachment…at this time, a friend shall lose his friend’s hammer and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before around eight o’clock...

Good to know, pizzaguy! Thanks! Of course, it would be even better to know if I had so much as a sliver of a clue what the blue blazes you are talking about. Speaking of which, I do not have a clue what any of the roles in Pollux's list are or what they do. I started trying to look through the games for help, but I clearly do not have anywhere near the time to do that. So if anyone would like to help me (and I am sure others) out on that score, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

This could take ages: Alice was beginning to get very tired of sitting by her sister on the bank, and of having nothing to do: once or twice she had peeped into the book her sister was reading, but it had no pictures or conversations in it, `and what is the use of a book,' thought Alice `without pictures or conversation?' You are Alice. This is your dream, you think, though you really can't quite be sure because nothing here behaves the way you expect it to and you can't seem to order anything around. It's all very curious, and likely to get curiouser the longer things go on. You are Town. You have a one-shot ability to stop all Night Kills. To activate your ability, you will need to post "You're nothing but a pack of playing cards!" in the Day thread preceding the Night you wish stop all Kills. If you post after End of Day, the power will not take effect. You will win when all threats to Town have been eliminated. (Alice is also the Backup Doc, but she won't know that until/unless the actual Doc is whacked, at which point she will get the following PM:) The poor March Hare! Sure, he was madder than a mad thing, but as the cat said, you're all a bit mad here. You've learned a little bit about protecting people, however, so you decide to pick up where he left off. You are now the Town Doctor. Each Night, you send me the name of the player you wish to Protect; any actions against that person that would be fatal will be prevented (but all other actions will go through). Your wincon has not changed. Welcome to the game; you are AshALIGNMENT: Town GENERIC: Vanilla WIN CONDITION: All Deadites have been vanquished, and there is no chance of an exclusive win for any third-party. BACKGROUND: In every horror movie, there is a hero: someone brave, ruggedly competent, and blessed with strength of will sufficient to overcome all manner of danger, tragedy, and temptation. The hero might face the loss of a best friend, a parent, a true love, or a trusted mentor, but come the final frame (s)he will be standing tall, possibly atop a pile of dismembered zombies, drenched in the blood of the enemy and ready with one final, devastating quip to deliver as the screen fades to black. You are not that person. Many years ago, your father, also called “Ash” short for “Ashley,” was trapped in a similar Cabin in the Woods, with a comparable collection of panicky co-eds. So bad-ass was he that he lost a hand, replaced it with a chainsaw, kicked some demon ass, and found time to kiss the girl. If he were here, he’d handle this Deadite threat with only his stump and his beloved Remington 12-gauge shotgun. But he isn’t here; you are. You don’t have a shotgun, a chainsaw, or even a particularly sharp fork. You’re not brave and you’re not particularly strong. When the tough get going, you find a handy closet in which to hide. But who knows? You are your father’s kid, after all, and maybe circumstances will find that you can be a hero, after all. By the way: XXX is not a Deadite. You know this because XXX happens to be your one true love, even if XXX doesn’t know that or even, technically, know your name. While you’d give the world just to sniff creepily at a lock of her hair, you do sense that if she were to visit you at Night, there might be consequences... not all of them good. POWERS:1. You have no powers, abilities, tools, tricks, or capacities. You’ll have to muddle by on your community college education and expert training as a stockboy at the local S-Mart. But stay tuned... in a horror movie, everything changes eventually. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ADMINISTRATIVE NOTES:
Ash’s powers are many. Each is triggered by a specific game event, as described below.
1. There Can Be Only One: At the outset of the game, Ash is completely immune to Night kills by anyone, other than Evil Ash using his Big Bad Mofo Sword. If Predator, Freddy, or the Inqusitive Fool using one of the powers of the Necronomicon attempts to kill Ash, he will simply... survive, though an inexplicable stroke of luck.
This immunity lasts for as long as Evil Ash is alive. If Evil Ash dies, Ash can be killed like anyone else.
2. This is My Boomstick: If whichever Deadite chooses to infest the body of Good Ol’ Reliable Jake should die by any means, Ash will discover Jake’s shotgun, which contains one shell. Ash may then utilize these this shell for a one-shot Night kill.
3. Chainsaw Hand: Ash gets the chainsaw hand in one of two ways: (1) he himself survives any attack by a Deadite; (2) the Virginal Beauty or Vincent (the Dog Who Knows Things) are murdered by a Deadite. In the former case, Ash escapes with his life but not with his hand, which is chopped off and possessed (see the Evil Hand post in the main area). In the latter case, Ash chops off his own hand and replaces it with a chainsaw.
Once he has a chainsaw hand, Ash may do one of the following things per Day/Night cycle.
(1) Submit a Day kill each Day of any half-Deadites (Deadites who have died but are still hanging around, counting toward the Deadite win condition); or
(2) Use the chainsaw to carry out Night kills. Ash can do this only when very, very angry - ie, on a Night following the death of any pro-Town power role other than a member of the Sorority.
4. It’s a Trap! Grab an Axe!: If Ash ever collects more than six votes total, he will become paranoid and find an axe. Once the axe is in his possession, Ash may use it to protect himself and one other player, at Night, for one time only.
5. I Know That BO: If Vincent, the Dog Who Knows Things, investigates one of Ash’s statements, Vincent will recognize Ash and know that Ash is pro-Town.
6. Irresistible to Heroines: Should the Virginal Beauty ever target Ash at Night, she will become the Fallen Virginal Beauty (per her own role description’s Administrative Notes).
7. Sex, Confidence, and Chainsaws: If Ash, once chainsaw-handed, is ever targeted by the Virginal Beauty or the Fallen Virginal Beauty, he gains tremendous confidence and can use both chainsaw-related abilities in the same Day/Night cycle.
8. But I’m a Little Squeamish: If Ash ever kills a non-Deadite with his chainsaw, he will be unable to use the chainsaw to kill at Night ever again (he can still use the shotgun, or use the chainsaw to chop up half-Deadites during the Day).
9. That Guy Looks Like Me, Only Ugly: If Ash is targeted by any power from the Necronomicon, or by any nonlethal Freddy power, he will have as a side effect a vivid nightmare in which the existence of Evil Ash, and the nature of the relationship between them, will be revealed.Okay...I guess since you're all dead and it doesn't really matter one way or another regarding knowing about this role, I'll reveal it.. This secret secret role is called the Chia Bingo Manager and here is how it works. It's a protown role and at the start of the whole game, the CBM PMs me a four by five grid of squares....with the name of one player in each square. That would be twenty names, but since there are only 19 players in this game, one of those squares the CBM is allowed to designate a free space. Then, as the game goes on, the players are crossed out on the grid as they die. IF EVER the grid that the CBM makes gets a "bingo" (all names crossed out) either vertically or horizonally (diagonally doesn't work with a five by four grid ), that person gets their choice of power. Either to bring someone back from the dead (one time)....or become immune from all kills the rest of the game (both lynch kills and Psychopath kills). If this role dies, however, before a bingo is gotten, it no longer counts.

More: As you enter the house you find yourself shrinking smaller and smaller until you find that you've actually become the tiny hooded skeletal Death of Rats. "Well this is strange." You say. Except you don't because you can't. You actually say "SQUEEK" Further examination shows you that all you can actually say is "SQUEEK" You can however convey your meaning through the magic of parenthesis... Woooooooooo. (You have a post restriction. All of your posts must be written in SQUEEK. Meaning may be added in parenthesis below your SQUEEK including your voting.) The more you combine with the Death of Rats the more his immense knowledge combines with yours until you can take no more. In a few moments you choose to side with the loners here, the misfits, and you will do so armed with the power of Ridiculous Amounts Of Knowledge!!! You are the PFK master. Unbeknownst to them, but knownst to you all PFK's win together if any one PFK wins, so do you and by extension so do the rest of the PFK's. By the way the PFK's are in no particular order, [#21], Kat, Storyteller, [#24]. Every Dawn you will be told who the pfks have targeted in a random order. Finally, you may be a little death, but you still have a bit of dominion in you. You have enough power to stop a single lynch. If you choose to do so you must send a pm to Pollux Oil to that end. It must be sent no less than 12 hours before the end of the Day. Hello Generic Homicidal Maniac. I guess I don't have to change you in any way to fit your costume, but I will give you this handy dandy pack of lightning rods. Let's see you get four of them. If you put this one on someone all of the protection actions will be aimed at them. If you put this one on someone all of the killing actions will be aimed at them. Now this one, this one will aim any investigative actions at your target, and this one here will aim any sort of roleblocking powers. Every night you get to pick one of your lightning rods to place on another player. A lightning rod can only be used once, but when you run out, another four pack will be delivered. So go ahead and enjoy yourself, and if you get it down to just you and two other players left we'll even let you enjoy some good old fashioned generic killing. You are a PFK power focuser. You win if you're alive and there are only three living players total. You also have a secret ally walking around here somewhere. If they win you win as well, but that's all you get to know about that. They could put me in a helicopter and fly me up into the air and line up the bodies head to toe on the ground in delightful geometric patterns like an endless June Taylor dance routine — and it would never be enough. No, I don’t keep count. But you do. And I love you for it.----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the game; you are The JokerREAL NAME:: Seriously? ALIGNMENT: Third Party GENERIC: Serial Killer. Ish. WIN CONDITION: You will win with any side if you are responsible for at least 10 deaths, including at least one Town player, one Scum player, and one Third-Party/PFK player. Any lynch in which you have a standing vote for the eventual lynch-ee at Day's end will count toward this total, as will any death stemming from your own powers. BACKGROUND: Oh, how sad you have been. O! Batman! The Yin to your Yang, the PB to your J, the Rigor to your Mortis, gone! O! Misfortune! O! Woe! For four straight years, you've been so depressed you hardly wanted to poison anyone. The simple joys just haven't had the same kick they used to have. But then - just a few days ago - it happened. You were wandering down by the shoreline, idly rearranging the dead fish to form obscene pictograms, when you felt them. Eyes. Watching you. Him. The Bat. Not an imposter, or a Junior Bat-Squad boy scout, but the Original Recipe flying rodent himself. And you started to laugh, and laugh, and laugh, and eventually you had to shoot three henchmen just to catch your breath. The good times are here again. You wrote a little note - a little how-dee-doo - for your old friend, and left it in a quiet place that only he would think to look. You were a little worried that you weren't on speaking terms, but when you came back, the note had one of those precious little bat insignias stamped on it - how does he do that, does he have a stamp and an inkpad, or does he draw them freehand? You always wondered - and so you know for sure. And now you and he can chat, just like you used to. You don't know who he is, and he doesn't know who you are - disguises are fun, aren't they? - but O! The little chats you can have! And meanwhile, there's a war on. You know how it goes. You kill people in increasingly elaborate ways. He tries to make you stop. Let the games begin! POWERS:You may choose one from among the following powers every Day/Night Cycle. You may not repeat a power unless and until you have used them all once. 1. Funny Gun: You may deliver this item to a player of your choice by Day. It will have no effect on your target. However, if your target attempts to use it to target any other player, it will spray them with deadly acid, killing them unless some other power intervenes. You will get credit for the death of your obviously-too-bloodthirsty-to-live target.
2. Paranoia: Beginning on any given Day, you may target a player of your choice with a series of tricks, pranks, and misdirectiosn designed to make your target anxious, tense, and on the verge of violence. If, at any time during the Day in question, your target receives more than one quarter of the total available votes, (s)he will fly into a paranoid rage, and kill someone (his/her choice) at Dusk. You’ll get credit for the kill.
3. The Mask: Place this mask upon a target during the Day, and that Night (s)he will become an unstoppable, mad juggernaut. (S)he will become immune to most Night kills, but if (s)he is targeted for one, (s)he will kill his/her attacker instead. You'll get credit for the reciprocal kill. This effect lasts until triggered, after which your target returns to normal.
4. Romantic Comedy: Use this ability - and a generous dose of hallucinogen - by Day to create a Lover-type relationship between two players. That Night, if one is killed, the other is killed as well. Note, however, that this will work only if the two players in question have different win conditions. If they have the same win condition, the ability will not work. You'll get credit for one of the two deaths if the ability works.
5. The Great Switcheroo: Target any player (other than yourself) by Day with this ability. That Night, using trickery and some outstanding costumes, you will redirect any actions away from your target onto a third party of your choice. If anyone dies as a result of this switch, you get credit for the death.
6. The Killing Joke: If at any time, every living player in the game (including you) has received at least one vote over the course of the game not including yours, you will be able to target a player of your choice with a one-shot Day kill. In addition to the above, note the following: At your discretion and at any time, you may communicate with your oldest enemy. You may do this by sending a private message, addressed to him, to the moderator, who will deliver it. All messages will be delivered at Dusk or Dawn of the Day or Night sent, respectively. He may contact you, if he chooses, in the same way. Neither of you knows the other's identity; do your best to keep it that way. "Shadowthrone," he murmurred, "I require your attention"
The murky image of the Shadow House remained singularly lifeless on the lacquered card.
"All right," Paran said, "I'll revise my wording. Shadowthrone, talk to me here and now or everything you've done and everything you're planning to do will get, quite literally, torn to pieces."You are Ganoes Paran, Master of the Deck of Dragons. Once you were a noble-born officer in the Malazan Army. The Adjunct to the Malazan Empress recruited you to her staff to help her track down the Ascendant responsible for killing an entire Malazan Army regiment. In the course of your investigation, the twin Gods Oponn tried to use you to their own ends, and you quickly found yourself at the centre of a conflict between several Ascendants. You escaped with your life, free once more of Oponn's influence, and you vowed to never again get involved in the games of the Ascendants. Fate had very different ideas. Millennia ago, a god from another world was called down onto your world, devastating two continents. The impact left him insane and his power shattered, so he became known as the Crippled God. The Gods and Ascendants of your realm banded together and imprisoned the Crippled God to prevent him from wreaking havoc in his insanity. In your time, the Crippled God began his preparations to create a new House in the Deck of Dragons, the Fatid that is a reflection of the pantheon of Gods and Ascendants. Having control over this House of Chains would give the Crippled God the power to play the Ascendants at their own game and the chance to finally get revenge on the world that had crippled and chained him. The creation of a new House was an unprecedented move. An arbiter was required, but the only Ascendant with power over the Deck itself had long since faded from power. And so it fell to you, a mortal untutored in sorcery and ignorant of the Fatid, to adjudicate over the dispute. With that power to arbitrate came power over the Deck itself, and though you tried to resist, you Ascended as the Master of the Deck of Dragons. You blessed the creation of the House of Chains against the will of all the Ascendants opposed to the Crippled God. You hoped that doing so would bind the Crippled God to your power and give you the ability to counter his maneuvers. But despite your best efforts, the Crippled God succeeded in igniting a full-out civil war within the Pantheon. The mortal world, predictably, suffered the worst of the war. Entire civilizations were wiped out. All of your friends and family were consumed in the conflict. And now that the strife has burned itself out to its final embers, you look at the devastation that was wrought and you know that, had the Gods and Ascendants of your world banded together to face the threat, and not tried to take advantage of the conflict to further their own ends, the worst of the damage would have been averted. You find yourself on the continent of Assail. Incredibly, a group of Ascendants there continue to battle even now. No more! The Ascendants have destroyed too much already. They must be stopped, at any cost. Name: Ganoes Paran, Master of the Deck Powers: To guide yourself, you have laid a field with your Deck of Dragons. This has allowed you to divine that there are the following Ascendants present: 1) Keeper of the Dragon Hold (Gothos) 2) Mistress of Thieves (Apsal'ara) 3) Knight of High House Darkness (Anomander Rake) 4) Lady of the Dragon Hold (Envy) 5) The Warlord (Caladan Brood) 6) Jesters of Chance (Oponn) 7) Assassin of High House Shadow (Cotillion) 8) Hunter of High House War (Treach) 9) Consort of the Dragon Hold (Scabandari Bloodeye) 10) Virgin of High House War (Silverfox) 11) Path-Shaper of the Dragon Hold (K'rul) 12) Lord of High House War (Togg) 13) Queen of High House Life (T'riss) 14) Guardians of the Dead (Kalam Mekhar) 15) Champion of High House Light (Osric) 16) Mistress of Healing (Soliel) 17) King of High House Shadow (Shadowthrone) 18) Liege of the Dragon Hold (Draconus) 19) Magi of High House Shadow (Iskarul Pust) 20) King of High House Death (Hood) 21) Knight in Chains (Karsa Orlong) 22) Reaver in Chains (Kallor) 23) Magi in Chains (Bidithal) 24) Herald in Chains (Gethol) Each Dawn and each Dusk, you will lay a new field. This will allow you to deduce which Ascendants have joined which clans, as well as what clan each Ascendant has elected as their Primary. In addition to this passive power, you still have some powers of the deck remaining at your disposal. Each Day/Night cycle you may choose to invoke at most one of the following limited-use powers. The Day/Night cycle is defined by the start of each Day. Therefore, you may choose to invoke a power Night One and Day Two(if you didn't invoke a power Day One and you cannot invoke a power Night Two), but you cannot invoke a power Day Three and Night Three - Three times per game you may choose to attempt to kill another player. One of these kills may be used only at Night and acts as normal. One of these kills may be used either Day or Night and acts as normal. Finally one of these kills may be used only at Night, but cannot be interfered with. This kill is guaranteed to take out the player of your choice. Should you choose to use a killing power, make sure the Authors are informed as to which version you are using. - Three times you may choose to guard any player, including yourself. That player will be protected from all powers for the Day or Night in which you invoke the power. - Once per game, you may redirect one player's power to target a different player - Once per game, you may boost the number of votes you have in a given Day by two. You may distribute these two additional votes either on multiple targets or the same target. Unlike your main vote, which is recorded openly per normal, these votes will up your targets' totals, but won't be attributed to anything. If you decide to use this power, you must inform the Authors by the normal Day power deadline of 24 hours before Dusk. If successful, we will inform you and you have until Dusk to actually distribute your additional votes. - Twice per game you may block another player's power. One of these can be used Day or Night. The other can be used during the Day only. Should you choose to use a blocking power, make sure the Authors are informed as to which version you are using. - Twice per game, you may investigate another player and learn their role name and power. You must invoke this power at Night. One more thing, the Authors in our infinite wisdom have decided to grant you an additional piece of knowledge in the form of a warning. Every other player in this game has the condition that the Master of the Deck must be dead before they can win. As they will all likely be gunning for you, we will send you two false PMs you can safely use to make a false claim. Win Condition: You win when no full clan of four can be formed. In other words, you win when there are fewer than four players remaining, excluding yourself and the members of the House of Chains. As you are playing your own game here, you cannot nominate a Primary Clan. You may negotiate with other players and pretend to join their clans, and if you do so you will count towards that clan's player limit of four while you are alive. Solomon Grundy / Born on a Monday / Christened on Tuesday / Married on Wednesday / Took ill on Thursday / Grew worse on Friday / Died on Saturday / Buried on Sunday / That is the end of Solomon Grundy.----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to the game; you are Solomon GrundyREAL NAME:: Unknown ALIGNMENT: Third Party GENERIC: Scotsman WIN CONDITION: You win with any side if you are still alive when the game ends BACKGROUND: Solomon Grundy was dead. Is now alive. Very strong and angry. Not good at planning - too much cranial decomposition. Alone for now, but may decide to help others, if asked. Nicely. 'Till then, will try not to die too often. Solomon Grundy. Was dead; is now alive. Any questions? POWERS:Once during the game, if you are killed at Night, you will return to life after one full Day/Night cycle (thus, if you are killed on Night One, you will return to the game at dawn of Day Three). While your role and alignment will be revealed upon your initial death, it will not be in any way confirmed when you resurrect. Also, please note that if the game ends while you are dead (given you starting win condition), you will lose even though you would have returned to life had the game continued. Your power functions only in the case where you are directly killed at Night. It will not help you if you are lynched, killed during the Day by other means, or killed by indirect means at Night. ... aka Zedd. So, you find yourself becoming a great wizard with mighty death-dealing - no wait, you've sworn off that. You're an eccentric old man who likes to sit on his cloud rock, watch the clouds and tell fortunes. That might be a bit difficult, stuck indoors all the time as you are, but I'm sure you'll find a way. Cloud-gazing, it turns out, is marginally useful. It gives you an insight into the minds and motivations of the partygoer. Each Night, you pick a partygoer, and study the clouds to learn about them. Unfortunately this has its limits, and you can learn only one thing about them - whether they are a threat to the Town or not, or what their powers are. You choose what you want to learn. You are a weak Town-aligned cop. You win when all the threats to Town are dead.

And one more: Name: The Riddler AKA Edward Nashton, alias Edward Nigma Alignment: Playing for Keeps Role/Abilities: Unholy Alliance Member + Riddler's Game -You are the 2nd Member of Hush's Unholy Alliance (The SK Duo Combination) -You are unable to perform Nightkills, only Hush may do so. But you both have access to a private board to talk during the Nights._______ --To log onto the board, your username is 'Riddler' and your starting password is '------'. The board password is '-----'. Feel free to change your password, but it's in your best interests to leave the name alone. --You have the Most Complicated Ability in the game: The Riddler's Game +Passive Abilities. See Below the Flavor for an Explanation. Flavor: The Riddler is obsessed with riddles, puzzles and word games. He delights in forewarning both Batman and the police of his capers by sending them complex clues. As the Riddler, the character is always depicted as wearing a domino mask either with a green suit and bowler hat, or a green jumpsuit. He often carries a cane shaped as an elongated question mark. The Riddler has become a darker, more three-dimensional character in recent years. Whereas he was once portrayed as a playful but sane criminal trickster, he is now the smooth-talking, yet quirky, victim of an intense obsessive compulsion. This compulsion has been a recurring theme, albeit with a darker edge, as shown in a 1999 issue of Gotham Adventures, in which he tried to commit a crime without leaving a riddle, but fails: "You don't understand. .. I really didn't want to leave you any clues. I really planned never to go back to Arkham Asylum. But I left you a clue anyway. So I... I have to go back there. Because I might need help. I... I might actually be crazy."
[From Wikipedia, you should definitely go there to learn more about yourself. Riddler, you're really in trouble this time! You've got the most complicated, messiest, and painful role in the game. But you're the Riddler, you wouldn't have it any other way! So here's the situation, and your dilemma: You were the one who hired Hush to help you break free of Arkham and get revenge on Batman. However, since his arrival, the Green electrical fields and blackouts have caused all Hell to break loose. You're not really that bad of a guy, however, Hush is a deadly serial killing villain, and he's quickly taken advantage of the situation. So now you're stuck playing his Patsy as half of the Unholy Alliance: a Serial Killing Duo. Hush believes that you two are working together to take over Arkham and get rid of Batman in the process. In fact here's a secret Copy of of his Win Condition: Your Goal: You are one of the many denizens locked up in Arkham Asylum, but unlike many of the others, you don't actually care for destroying the Dark Knight. You Win when You and your Ally are the majority remaining behind (Thusly, if you are the sole survivor, you must make it to the final 3 and survive, if so- then you will kill the other, and Win. If the Riddler is alive , making it to the Final 5 will be a win.) Basically when the remaining people equal Your group, You Win.[From Hush's PM] So now you are going to have to pretend that THAT is your Win condition as well. Because the only reason Hush is letting you live is because he think you're useful to him. It's best to keep that facade up there in your SK Boards. Because Hush also realizes that If you the Riddle die before he does, he's going to Frame you and make you take the fall for the SK's Actions. When you die, you will be revealed as the Sole SK of the Game and all the blame will fall upon your corpse. But so far, you've persuaded Hush that alive you'll be a worthy Ally as you count for a living body to help him out with his SK goals. However, you're the Riddler. You're the true Survivor. You've realized the hidden Goals behind his own Victory Goals: Though Hush's Victory conditions say "you will win", you know the Dark Truth: If Hush Succeeds in his Mission of making it to the Final 5 with you, the victory will solely go to HUSH and ONLY HUSH. You cannot win if Hush wins- however, only YOU know this vital piece of information. Knowledge is Power after all.... So how do You Win? It's simple really: You are the Riddler, you don't care which side wins, you only care if YOU WIN. And in order for YOU to win, You must solve the Riddler's Game before ANY Faction fufill's its win condition: This means before Town, Scum, Hush or anyone else. In the meantime, you will cooperate with Hush, and lead him along, as being on the Sk's good side is ALWAYS a good thing. Especially since he's the muscle of the group, you'll have to rely on your brains. The Riddler's Game[/u] Rules: -You must solve the Riddler's Game before any Faction fufill's its win condition. -You are Not allowed to Share knowledge of the Riddler's Game with anyone except for the Mods. -You may send 1 "Official" PM at Dusk to the Night Mod (Roosh), and one official PM at Dawn to Roosh again with that Day/Night's solutions on it, and you will receive a PM at Dawn/Dusk (the next 12 hour cycle) detailing your successful guesses/ wrong guesses. The Game Itself: The Riddler cares only about information and knowledge. So here is the greatest puzzle of them all: the one that every group would DIE to know: "Who Are You All?" -You must successfully guess the Character role of EVERY Player in the Game, Living or Dead. Yes, this means figuring out which scum are in the Game, and WHO is the Scum. Sure the Town would love to figure this stuff out, but if you help the Town, that'll only serve to hinder your own victory conditions, as the closer the Town gets to victory, the further you get from your own chances of winning. -At the Start of every Dusk, you may submit your PM: On it will be the name of all 24 players, and then next to each player's name you will include what you believe their Character's Role is. -At Dawn, you will be given your PM back, and you will only be told the # Correct, and the # Incorrect. You will not know which roles were correct and which were wrong. Only the Two numbers. However, you can save up your PMs, and as the Body Count rises (thanks in part to your so called "partner" you will be able to figure out which ones were correct/incorrect over time). -A Daunting task, but take heart in a few bonuses you have: 1. The Riddler's Game cannot be Blocked. You will always be able to submit one entry every dusk/dawn no matter what other players may do to You (unless they kill you obviously). As this game is being played in your Mind. 2. As the Riddler, once you've deduced a Player's Role, that role cannot target you. IE: If you figure out who the scum are, then that Scum can no longer perform any Actions on you, as you will see them coming, and simply avoid them. **WARNING** This ability will NOT work on Hush. If he wants to, he can NK you at anytime. So its best to stay on his good side in the forums. As he has NO CLUE about any of your treacherous doings, and merely thinks of you as his partner in crime. *NOTE* You will NOT be told which roles you have gotten correct or incorrect. So If you DO correctly predict Scum, you will still only receive a # correct and a # incorrect. And if you change answers the next night, you will not lose the ability. Once you have correctly guessed a role, even if you change it, you will not be affected by the Role. 3. Just so this game isn't impossible, you will be given a list of ALL Possibly roles in the Game + Some unused ones+ some extra roles for fun. Use that list to help you get started on who's who. 4. Remember: You cannot tell ANYONE else about this Game. If you do, you will be stripped of all powers, and Hush will be informed that you have tried to back stab him. He may then do with you as he wishes. If Hush isn't alive at that time, then the Town will be informed of your treachery instead. 5. If you succeed in guessing all 24 Roles/Player names, you will create a custom victory Post in which the Riddler will escape the Madness of Arkham. The Mafia Game will then continue onwards for second place to see which faction can survive. However no matter what, your Win will preempt all other ones, and be superior to theirs, and that will be present in whichever faction then gets second place. *NOTE* PLEASE feel free to PM me with any questions about this role. This IS a hard role to play. The Hardest in fact. Yes, it IS bastardly, and yes, it may suck. However, if you can pull it off, you will be one of the greatest Mafia Players around (hell, I'll even make you a custom title for winning if you succeed- as you'll basically have had to figure out who EVERONE is in the game). Good Luck. You're going to need it![/quote]

Are we quite certain that all, or indeed any, of these roles are designed exactly as they were in their original incarnations?

And there shall in that time be rumors of things going astray, and there will be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things with the sort of raffia work base, that has an attachment…at this time, a friend shall lose his friend’s hammer and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before around eight o’clock... Good to know, pizzaguy! Thanks! Of course, it would be even better to know if I had so much as a sliver of a clue what the blue blazes you are talking about And the beast shall be huge and black, and the eyes thereof red with the blood of living creatures, and the whore of Babylon shall ride forth on a three-headed serpent, and throughout the lands, there'll be a great rubbing of parts.

Are we quite certain that all, or indeed any, of these roles are designed exactly as they were in their original incarnations? No. My intention with this game is to revisit roles and games from the past that everyone enjoyed. However, not every role will be exactly like the role from its previous games. Alignments will be altered for the sake of surprise and to make the game enjoyable. Powers will be slightly different or a specific power might be given to a different character from a different game.

Holy Crap.
[green]Good luck to you Pollux as you try to keep all of this straight.[/green]
Thank-you so much, guiri! That is quite eye opening!
I am confused where you got those from. When I click on the dates/time I get a message that the link is to a discussion that no longer exists.

At best, it would appear that already the game is more gastard than not. Even if not by design of the mod. At worst, PIZZA is self imposing a post restriction that forces them to be verbose, circumlocutious, and talkative. But I digress. If pizza wants to throw us a bone here on why the play style change, that would be ok with me.

Not in my universe. ...what dimunitive would you suggest in referencing ewe (another hal gig). My name is Rich and you are looking for a dimunitive?? Friends call me Rich, sometimes Beckman. There are a few who call me asshole and one who calls me douche bag...I assume you have no interest in my opinion of them. And no, I do not answer to those.

I'm also fond of Robert Asprin :-) I will be honest the thing that really attrafted me to this game was the creative bit of storyline in the first sign up thread Sent from my SCH-I405 using proboards
