In less you kill Peek - LOL Well, I can't technically kill Peeker, because he's still dead I would be one to "kill" Peeker again, while he is still dead. Perhaps, there is a way it will actually take.

Cookies - Colby and I have tied by both bidding 7 for the merc - so the merc will decide who to work for - as the same thing happen to me before - I do have wetwork on my PM this time I just posted my first one - and I had only bid 6 that time I didn't notice the difference till colby pointed in out. Guess we are one only lucky ones need under sandy tonight You do realize how bad this sounds, right? Pat's reads as a barrel of For me. lightfoot do you mind going slower on this, because I don't understand pat's, and thus, I can't follow yours from her endpoint.

The way I read it meeko patricia got called on posting a different merc PM than Colby posted. And then covers with ‘OH that’s the other one- my pm reads the same I posted an old one “ Reminds me a bit of a player once that could not post their PM because they ‘accidently ‘ deleted it It’s not washing with me. Or did you desire explanation of another point?

On the re read, it's the entire last line, only, which one would assume, is OOG.

I think her last two posts were meant as a single thought: "per sis...unvote story"
But I'm only about half sure that I understand any of what was posted over the last 24 hours or so...
patricia claimed to have won the Merc vote, and posted her 'menu of services', then Colby came in and said he won the Merc vote and posted a different menu, then patricia came back and said "oh, yeah...I posted the worng PM...that was from the last time I 'won' the Merc but lost out on the tiebreaker"
On the surface, it seems awfully hard to believe patricia's story. But I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would lie about winning the Merc bid.
In other news, I don't like gnarlycharlie's claim at all. Specifically, I take issue with his 'Hostile' designation. His role, as it's described in his PM, is not Hostile. A Hostile role has the ability to 'steal' the win from all other players; gnarly cannot win at all without converting to Town or Scum. Sure, according to his posted PM he will investigate as Hostile, but that's not the same thing as being Hostile. If he has no Win Condition, then he can't possibly be Hostile, because he can't win.
vote gnarlycharlie

Sorry sis - still learning - I unvoted story per your information that he is non hostile I'm having a hard time posting quotes from my PM - Which is why I may get lynched today - looks like to will be up to the merc to decide - If he/she works for me great ( even if I'm lynched) if not he/she will work for colby and that sb great also - the only down fall I see is Lizzy will skate again and no scum will be found

JustBeingGinger,
Did you not place your 'secret' vote yesterDay? I don't see one reflected in the final vote count.

Is it weird that his investigations have zero overlap with his votes? Or is that good game play?

As the votes stand right now, it appears to me that patricia will be lynched. My current thinking is that gnarlycharlie is the best choice here, but given where (I think) the votes are
dizzymrslizzy 9 patricia 7 + 3 gnarlycharlie 6
it does not look to me like gnarlycharlie is going to catch up.
I am suspicious of both dizzymrslizzy and patricia, but I think more so of dizzymrslizzy. I think also we learn more from a dizzymrslizzy lynch than from a lynch of patricia.
Vote: dizzymrslizzy

My investigations to this point have pretty much zippo to do with my votes. If I'm voting someone, I generally have some sense of whether I consider them Scum or not. So my tendency is to vote where I think Scum are, and to "shoot" into the pool of people who I have no idea about (or who I tend to think are Scum whether they are or not, cf cookies as an example of that). Of course, if I'm sure I've got Scum and no one else agrees with me, I might investigate that person, too, just to see whether I'm right or wrong.
But every investigator plays differently. And how I've played my role this game may or may not match up with how I've played investigators in other games.

I had a bit of a memory that I had seen such a strategy (vote and investigate differently) espoused somewhere, but I thought I would check.
