The space station was quiet. After the exodus of several key participants along with the shrinking of the group, discussion hadn't been that active. One person had taken the lead in voting and nothing had really changed the players' minds.
So when Pollux appeared on the screen, the small group pushed Suburban Plankton forward. Pollux rested his chin on his hands and looked bored. "Okay, you guys are clearly getting to the point where you've said all that needs to be said, so I'm shortening your days and nights from now on. How do I do that, you ask? Well don't. Don't ask Gastards, that's just bad form."
Pollux waved his hand dismissively and the camera turned off. In just a few moments, the large executioner appeared in the midst of the smaller crowd, surprising them all. In a few short steps, he was towering over Suburban Plankton. Suburban Plankton stared back at the tall man, not blinking.
The hooded man picked up Suburban Plankton and headed towards the incinerator, which had been used before. Suburban Plankton was quiet, impassive, and didn't give anything away. The executioner threw Suburban Plankton into the fire. There were no screams. No cries for help or mercy. Suburban Plankton...he just burned.
The group gathered around to sift through his ashes, looking for items. They found the usual three: an application for a monastery, a custom set of Oriental knives, and a book titled "How to Destroy Town in 6 Easy Steps."
Suburban Plankton, aka Derek, the Fallen Monk (Scum Ninja), has achieved enlightenment. By dying. He's dead now.

Night Seven begins now.
Night Seven will end Wedensday at 7 PM EST.
From this point forward nights will be shorter and so will Days. If anybody objects to the Day ending on a weekend please say so now or forever hold your peace.

Inner Stickler has acquired a penalty vote for Day Eight for being a smartass. He can remove the penalty vote by properly kissing the Gastard moderator's ass.

Well, really. As soon as my hours up, I'm taking back my exalt for the consistently amusing color.
Plus, stetsons are cool.

And I did not investigate crys for the simple reason that I am not sure how her stated powers will interact (or not) with mine. So I would not be willing or able to trust any result I got.

I wasn't good at Algebra, I'm guessing a few communitive and associative properties, along with some FOIL, and I could have gotten at Suburban == Burby. .... But that's only after this much time to think about it.

Sorry, Meeko, I have a bad habit of shortening people's names.

Believe it or not, Peeker, I would be happy to take that photograph, as long as the two of them are willing to come to Reno to have it taken.

Oh, hi.
I got so caught up in the quadrennial exercising of my civic duties, that I forgot you guys were planning to string me up today.
I'm glad to see I met my death honorably...it made rather a change from the rest of my life.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your time on the station...until you all die horrible deaths, that is. Go Team, and all that

Burby, As you have exercised that civil duty, go here and say so and you, too, can have a chance of winning a Free Book.

Burby, As you have exercised that civil duty, go here and say so and you, too, can have a chance of winning a Free Book. I hadn't actually exercised my duty earlier, but I have now (I only had to wait in line for 40 minutes or so), so I will go and place my entry now. And if I don't win the free book, I might just buy myself a copy

tmi warning: if you are ever put on a diuretic and miss your morning dose. don't decide to double up on your evening dose. that was a mistake.
