Peeker -- someone else protected me but damned if I know who or why. I am still wondering why both of you are so sure that it was a protection and not a role block. And I have no idea why Peeker is so sure that Patricia is not evil and why he thinks that SisC is evil just because he couldn't kill her. Peeker, I, for one, need more reasoning than just because you said so. Aren't you the one who killed Guiri because you were sure that he was evil? If you are working for Good, then we need to have some basis for evaluating your conclusions. That said, my vote remains on SisC. I did not like her one off vote on Patricia yesterday. She said that she wanted to lynch a lurker who had not posted since Day 1. That was just a falsehood. SisC says toDay that she just mis-remembered Patricia's record. I find that a little fishy. Mis-remembering is possible, but making a case, and voting on it? I thought at the time that she was trying to pull the lynch the lurker vote away from fellow scum, Total. Obviously that was not the case. I wonder toDay if SisC knew that Total was not on the scum team and did not want to pile on her bandwagon. A few people toDay have said that there must have been scum voting for Total, but I actually think that scum might have been able to stay away, either not voting given the shortened day or voting one offs like SisC.

the point i was trying to make sis is that i think most teams will work in concert. i just don't see anyone other than lg taking a protect shot in the dark if they have a doc. i would think it would be natural for them to protect a member of their team or not protect at all. i know you are not cg so the odds that you are e of some flavor. i just calls 'em as i sees 'em.

tex it could very well be a role block. i already posited about that.
and i assure you patricia is not evil.
i have already taken responsibility for guiri's death. have you never misfired or misvoted in your career? i've been playing this game for a lllloooonnnnnggggg time and i assure you i have been wrong before. have you ever been to a casino when a green number pops up in roulette?
i like the rest of your analysis. but it merely reinforces my thoughts.
is it perfect? of course not. but it sure seems to make sense. and honestly do you think a confirmed g would put their ear on the line like this if they were not believing in their convictions.
i like you folks. but i play this game hard. and i genuinely like sis but in this case she sure seems to be e. talk me out of it, if you will.
sis give me another e with a case and i will consider moving my vote. fair?

snipped, bolding mine in all seriousness. i know we tried to whack you at least once and failed. i really can't add anything other than what i have already. she has been whacked at by cg. she survived those. You're saying that CG attempted to vig SisC two times, which would be Night 1 and Night 3 (Night 2 being a successful Guiri kill). So of the 3 attempted CG vig kills, two were aimed at SisC, and both failed. So 1) either the CG vig was blocked on Nights 1 and 3, but not Night 2 Or 2) SisC is being protected as you have posited. Considering option 1: Is it to E's advantage to block the CG vig? Not especially; let him take his shots - he's more likely to hit LG (like Guiri) then E, with the bonus that if the vig is wrong twice, he loses his power. So, this makes me less inclined to believe that a roleblocker prevented SisC's death. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but as of Night 1, the likely identity of the CG vig has not been disclosed, so a roleblocker wouldn't have known who to block, so if SisC was targeted on Night 1, that lends weight to the 'protected, not blocked' theory. I'll go along with option 2. I think it is more likely that SisC is being protected by an E (either herself or a teammate). Vote: Sister Coyote

and just to extrapolate a little further. either someone gets lucky as all heck with an rb on the cg killer or someone is getting lucky as heck on just happening to protect cg targets or someone is able to protect themselves. that person has just got to be an e.
now perhaps e has some mechanism to protect them from g whacks but that doesn't seem fair. unless and this is the big unless there are far fewer of them than i posit. which could very well have been the reason for pizza's discomforture.

well i'd get it on sis if you want to live. I don't think you have a killer left- and if you do you won't when you NK me or do you think you can demand the rest of the players lynch me? I've been humouring you because I do think that that CG is working towards helping LG --- you have shared just enough to have the rest of us keep you around- but

You can type as you wish But if I do my panties are in a bunch nice form there peeker Telling a player where they should vote is – not in the spirit of the game as I see it I’m no bomb- I’m LG as stated and your RK has already hit atleast one non-LE player So if you still have a killer you wouldn’t if you targeted me. The statement that you appear to have miss read was a pre cursor to voting SisC so I’m not certain what got your attention there I’m off to check the vote count- I don’t want to throw the hammer with so few active this week

Telling a player where they should vote is – not in the spirit of the game as I see it <snipped> well first of all i am not telling anyone jack. i make observations and then espouse suggestions. now maybe this is another case of semantics and if so, meh. part of this game is trying to make a determination of the alignment of various individuals. then based on that determination a course of action is indicated. once that course of action is determined i don't see it "not in the spirit of the game" to request that other folks follow it. now certainly these courses of actions are greatly influenced by the individual's orientation. scum will want to not lynch scum and town will flounder about trying to lynch scum. at least in this case you have knowledge that i am cg. does that make me perfect? of course not. but does it at least mean that i am trying to arrive at a non manufactured conclusion? most definitely. and in this specific game i believe that everyone who is not lg knows who is on their team. now normally i would categorize e as scum and g as town. but it is not that simple because of the various wincons. i've already shared a lot of information in the hope that lg (town) would believe it when i say i am working for a g win. and that may very well be "not in the spirit of the game" because if g works together then e has no chance. pizza saw it and got a trifle miffed.

Good evening all. My apologies for inaction, but it turned out that my Christmas festivities were ... disrupted by a rotten cold that took several days to clear and left in its wake extremely low energy levels coupled with an almost total inability to sleep. As a result, I haven't been reading the thread for anything more than keep-up purposes. Right now I'm in the middle of a period of comparatively high energy level, and have just completed a catchup read starting from my last post. As I read, peeker's case against Sister Coyote emerged out of the fog of peekerspeak - namely that CG's killer attacked SisC on Night 1 and Night 3, failing both times; however an attack on guiri went through on Night 2. Therefore it is likely that Sister C was protected on Nights 1 and 3. Peeker expresses a belief that it's unlikely the LG faction has two Docs because that is overpowered. I'm not convinced. I would draw your attention to Dusk of Night 2. In that it was announced that: - Pizzaguy, Chaotic Evil Detective 2, has been lynched. CE had two Detectives at start. Why should LG not have two Docs? It's possible that CE's detectives operated along an individual alignment axis - that is ATPG was able to detect Law/Chaos while Other Detective only got Good/Evil (or vice versa). That's the way I'd do it. The fact that it is possible LG have two Docs weakens, but does not disprove, peeker's theory. It's still worth keeping an eye on SisC. It's worth noting that Sister Coyote's reaction to this case (see 119 is that she denies self-protecting she claims shock at being protected at all, and if she self-protected she should not be surprised. So she effectively denies being an LG doc. I voted SisC Yesterday because of her poor case on Patricia. I really disliked what felt like something thrown up in a few minutes that suffered from a serious lack of fact-checking. It took me minutes to check how many times patricia posted Day 2. (Doing it the long way would still have taken less than five minutes.) The current status is that SisC has three votes (assuming they all count.) If I vote, she'll have four, and four is one under the hammer threshold. Also I'd like to spend some time stirring data and looking at Lightfoot, who should know better than to try and handwave away the third vote indicator. It's as though she doesn't want it discussed for some reason.

Not that I want my head any further in the noose, but aren't "detective 1" and "detective 2" defined in the rules thread as having different powers? Two CE detectives, even split on an alignment axis, would be awfully powerful.
And I don't know how to explain my misread of Patricia any further than I have. I looked at the poster list and somehow managed not to see her name there. Mea culpa.
I'm vanilla. And not E on either of my axes.
Make of that what you will.

Hey all, Hope everone is having a great holiday season, I have a load of unexpected house guests due to some fricition at my BIL home, anyway, I haven't had time to read or post this week - glad to see we are still holding on day four. Be back Jan 3 - to read and vote.
Sis do you have anything else to add? You claim you are not E but didn't tell us who you believe to be evil? I'm mostly sold that Lightfoot is LG as I don't think someone who know who their teammates are would have back down on a non teammate.
I don't want to vote as we are close to the hammer at this time

5 votes on one player starts a 24 hour countdown to EOD. I'm willing to reinstate the vote timer as well if a simple majority of players wish it, but I don't think there's enough players even paying attention right now.

I did not vote for Sister C to avoid the situation where a voter placed their vote without realising - or "without realising" - that the vote was the countdown starter. That being said, I'd far rather the Dusk fell on a day when I'm not in the office, and since I have to go in on Wednesday (tomorrow being a bank holiday) now might be a good time. Vote: Sister Coyote
