I have sent out all the role assignment PMs. If you did not receive a PM, contact me immediately! If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or in your private QT. (If that would be more appropriate)
Reminder: Don't share QT links!
Day 1 discussion can begin!
Edit: Quick note, just to make sure there is no misunderstanding. All private player note QTs will be posted for everyone to read at the end of the game, as well as all the group chat QTs.

Hello everyone. This is a rather complex round and, unlike the last Witch-style round I've played, does not give Witches the ability to gib a player whose role they know. If anyone has any clever ways to abuse the mechanics of the round prior to halftime, I'd be interested in hearing it. I'll be giving the roles another look over, but so far everything that jumped out at me doesn't tic until halftime, at which point we expect madness anyways.
Also hi. I'm Sai. I'll try to be online starting from around 01:00 GMT most nights.

Got PM.
I'm a Player once called Septimus, as I've tried to make clear by using a septagram (with septuple of sins) as avatar image.
EOD is 10 AM my time. But I'll try to finalize Lynch vote much earlier as I am often a VERY late riser.

Is there a way to Preview Posts at this MB? (I see a "Preview" button but clicking it has no effect.)
If not, are we allowed to edit posts?

Vote: Sub Idle in for Hal My preview button is working; it just previews in the same window. Try it with some colors or fonts.

UM, THERE MIGHT BE A BIT OF A SNAFU in that I forgot to record Idle as playing. D:
Edit: After some consultation of the player list it would appear Sister Coyote never signed up and I can't remember why I thought she did, so Idle Thoughts has replaced her.

First off: my character is from the expansion set. I'm curious about how the voting will work. I'm happy it's multi-vote, which encourages more voting, but the automatic hammer mechanic discourages votes. As usual, I'll be suspicious of players who do not vote, but I'll be suspicious of players who hammer the lynch before everyone has had a chance to participate. Also, I'm starting a new project, so my play time will be less that usual. And, I'll be on vacation the last three weeks of May (not that I expect to be alive at that point, but you never know), so my play time will be even more reduced. Hello everyone. I feel transparent communication makes for better play.

Err, sorry. Gib and Tic aren't mafia jargon, but I'll try to be more clear in the future.
Gib = Kill
Tic = Arbitrary unit of time ("Give me a tic"), turn or phase ("This power has made me invulnerable for two tics"), end of turn or phase ("I'll tell you my military secrets if I'm alive after the tic"), or time at which something is processed or activated ("This power tics at the start of the phase rather than the end of the phase")
Round = Game
Lastly Pleo - the use of a DEADLINE VOTE will prevent the hammer that you fear.
Deadline Vote: ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies because what do you want me to call you?

I keep starting to compose where I contrast this ruleset with the sorts of games I've usually played, but it just turns out like another rules thread with a bunch of loose metagame analogies.

From the rules: During day, living players may make open discussion and decide on a target of their own to lynch. Any living player may vote for any other living player, and a true majority (more than half) is required to lynch. So we can vote for any other player, and not just one other player.
