Oops, kill my comments of the Innkeeper, I was thinking of the Inquisitor when I wrote this. Innkeeper was Lauriern....

Ugh, re-reading again I forgot to comment on the Entertainer...
I don't have a Town/Witch lean on the Entertainer. It could be either to me

I'd much rather vote Wombat than Idle. Idle is at least showing up. We at this point need to lynch lurkers if they cannot be replaced by the Mod otherwise the Judge will rule the roost here. I do not support an Idle Lynch at all. I think at this point the Oracle should out themselves if they are town and announce who the players that can kill at halftime are. I think we need to be aware of the massive carnage coming in a day and a half. Vote: WombatI can't disagree with this enough. Why would we want to let the witches know who the dangerous players are? So they'll have time to pick them off? I can't see that the information will do town any good whatsoever. And do you not realize that the roles were assigned at random? Regardless of witch/town/spy affiliation, with the exception of the holy roles?

Where does it say that Texcat?
All I saw before and still see when I reread the rules again right now is:
"Any Character can be any player type"
There are some roles that "feel" Witch to me: Zealot- You see all holy players at half time.....Why would town need to know who the holy players are? It sounds like a Witch role, that complements the Bishop who sees all living coven members.... KWIM?

There are some roles that are more beneficial to village than to the witches and vice-versa but any character can be any alignment. "Remember: Holy characters aside, any characters can be any player type—Villager or Witch!"
Are you vouching for Idle's innocence?

Weren't the character cards assigned randomly? And wouldn't that make most of your comments moot?

Weren't the character cards assigned randomly? And wouldn't that make most of your comments moot? I asked Mods this question in a private thread and the answer was that the mapping was "as random as python's library."

Swammmer, Were there always 3 m's in your name, or did you just add one?

Swammmer, Were there always 3 m's in your name, or did you just add one? The (new?) security features on this message board keeps logging me out. If I start a reply without noticing I'm logged out, it's a multi-click detour -- along with retyping the message I was ready to post -- to log-in. It was easier to use a name variant and post as a guest than do that. (Is it just me that has to keep clicking Login? Have I a wrong setting? I use Chrome.) After posting I wanted to ETA and explain that, but, since Swamm merdami was just a guest, neither Swammerdami nor Swamm merdami could edit that post.

I am not willing to lynch random PLAYING but lurking players, especially those who are not witches. Are you vouching for Idle's innocence? Pending an explanation of that statement, let's go ahead and try to decide the lynch ourselves toDay. Unvote vote WombatUnfortunately that makes a 3-way tie. Swammer, Cookies, Texcat, Colby, Pleo - if we all move we can almost lynch wombat - just one more vote needed... I'd still prefer to lynch Bill or Pollux over a non-participant though. Idle (2): Guiri, Swammer, Cookies Swammer (2): Pleonast, Colby Wombat (2): Swammer, Dizzy, Guiri Not voting (9): Idle, Wombat, BillMC, mahaloth, sario, Texcat, Ginger, Pollux, Hal

Unvote: Unvote all
I can get behind kynching an inactive over the judge. The only problem that I have is that we are helping the scum weed out Holy characters (unless inactive players are actually scum)
Vote: Vote wombat

I can confirm I'm not a witch. I don't like voting inactive players, as I already said, but if it means saving my neck, I will vote wombat.

Actually, strike that.... I'll vote wombat anyway since it seems to be increasingly difficult to get everyone to rely on making a successful lynch and I don't really want to leave it up to one person (possible Judge) alone.

Rereading Dizzy's post....I don't really see anywhere where she was confirming me specifically, so color me just as confused.
But if it saves my ass for another Day, whatever works.

Wouldn't have mattered - looks like it was going to no lynch anyway. Incoming night, and usual apologies for having to put up with my sorry ass.
