Ok I see what number 5 was.
Pleonast "breadcrumbed" something sort of the way I breadcrumbed myself as the town Undertaker while I was scum in a previous game.
Basically he put on big red underpants with lime polka dots and ran around screaming "THIS IS MY BREADCRUMB!!!111one"
Which, of course, makes total sense, you want everyone to be able to solve your breadcrumb, particularly the scumbags in the game who might get a whiff of what you are.
Fortunately, Pleonast decided to crumb only his character, not his role.
tddngasmar is not an anagram of anything.
However, it is a simple alphabet substitution cipher, easily solvable with two seconds worth of Googling effort.
You substitute out the letters properly and it forms several words, only one of which has anything possibly to do with this game.
Woodpecker, as there is a nursery rhyme involving said character.
Now, unlike my scummy breadcrumb from the aforementioned game, I don't think Pleo is scum, because breadcrumbing just the name of the character doesn't strike me as a prelude to a false claim. It's actually kind of a useless crumb.
But it's an easily solvable crumb, and thankfully, it solves as useless information.
The woodpecker could be anything, including vanilla townie.
I would caution people not to make their crumbs so obvious, though.

Gnarlycharlie's post looks like a "sure, I'll vote for hIm" post.
It kinda reeks of scum to me, so that's where my vote is going for now
Vote: Gnarlycharlie

I notice that Meeko is actually an artist that is well ahead of his time.
He makes spaces in his posts, like
this
And to me, it screams of the kind of artist who shows you a blank canvas and asks you to see the colors that aren't there, for those are the most beautiful.
Ah..... feel the space.... the wonderful

Okay perhaps I should abstain from posting for a while just to make sure this whole thread isn't a Pizza-n-Meeko festival.
These pages are so tiny. If I don't contain myself I might take up literally an entire page. At that point, it's basically game over. It's less a mafia game and more a public self-shaming.

Seeing colors that aren't there. That's a funny way of saying "simple alphabet substitution cipher."

Teetotaller IRL, actually.
You people with the drinking of the alcohol actually frighten me, but I tolerate your presence because you're so nice to tolerate my weird non-drinkingness.
EDIT- dammit Meeko. I can't abstain from talking if you talk to me. It's hard enough forcing myself to not monologue, let alone dialogue.

Board just ate my post. Briefly: 1. I can see people disliking my early baseless votes but you'll find it's something I regularly do to get the ball rolling. I don't get the hate for the multivote though 2. Jaade, if early baseless votes are also a good way to catch scum, why discourage them? If someone places an early vote and goes the whole Day without moving it or giving reasons why it's the best vote compared to all other candidates, they deserve suspicion 3. Suburban, that was opportunistic. The reasoning could be applied to any player but you voted the player with the most votes 4. Gnarly, that's funny, it was specifically my combing through the rules that led me to multivote 5. Mahaloth, neither do I 6. Pizza, this is classic Meeko, I'm even getting a slight town lean on him I didn't say it was a good way to find scum. I think Town tends to overlook those too often. I think scum tries to make sure at the EOD that they are mostly helping lynch a townie, with maybe only one leaving their vote on a one off. I do agree it would be much easier if scum cast early votes without explanation and then never moved them. Instead, they cast early votes to fish around and try to get townies to follow.

I'm just going to ignore meeko for now for his logic will make me rant and rave for awhile. I'm not sure what the hubbub over guiri's (first. Joke.) votes, and in fact find it more likely there's scum in the group of people who followed meeko's rabid attack on him.
Who is worse, suburban plankton who backed off guiri to vote meeko for his moon logic, or gnarlycharlie who's reasoning seems to be "oh he must not have read the rules and therefore is scum"
I'd Vote: suburban plankton for now, because his initial vote and that hop feel damned weak, but as pleo has noted if I had more than one vote to throw out Gnarly would be who I vote for.

In other news, I think voting is important for finding scum. I think everyone in this game should have a vote down at all times. I think people should be able to explain those votes and tell us why and yadda yadda because they're essentially you saying "this is my strongest opinion I think this guy right here is a scummy, scummy bastard."
Discouraging early votes means we end up with last minute rushes where people go OH GOD OH GOD WHO WE LYNCHING WHO WE LYNCHING and then flail, look at someone, point, YEAH HIM with bearly any time to get any real idea how or why the wagon formed other than a last minute dog pile.
basically what I'm saying is, to make people vote, with reasons, make them give you an opinion, and make them stand by and justify it means guess what them bandwagonin' scum have to go down on record with SOME sort of opinion for people to comb through and look over
This is my true, honest opinion, and I am a very honest bear.

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with the Multivote aside from it being a really odd opener. I don't think a Townie would have painted a big target on their back voting 4 people out of the gate for zero reason. A vote because someone said "present" and what does "patricia for blue" mean? It just doesn't make sense. And for Meeko. I see you have lost your hardon for Pleo in your old age.... What

I'm still finding very little meat to sink my teeth into for a vote on day one. However, to avoid the last minute bandwagon pile on vote(which usually leads to a townie lynch) I'm going to vote for Vote: GnarlyCharliefor now if I had a second vote it would be on Dizzymrslizzy both for piling on the bandwagon for the multi voting which I don't see as something a scum would do DAY 1 - I'm not sure that the bread crumbing is townie either but I'm letting that play out for now

Pleonast is behaving himself. Would you want to be the one to challenge that? At the risk of disrupting the Karmic balance, I'd say you're behaving well to. I do agree that voting well before end of Day is important. I hate the last minute scramble. I don't agree that it is necessary for every player to have a vote on someone at every moment. I wouldn't say "necessary" either, but "greatly encouraged". In fact, a player who often waits until most others have put down a vote before voting is more often scum--they're waiting to see which way the winds are blowing before making any commitment themself. So your argument is that a scum is more likely to put a big target on their back than a townie? That's very contrary to my experience.

I agree with most of this. Although having a vote down at all times and voting early is not always compatible with a considered, justifiable, well-reasoned vote. But pooh on you for using honest twice in the last sentence. It pinged me beyond all reason. I assume that town is honest. Only scum needs to tell me they are honest. Vote: Paranoia
