Aren't you paying attention? I don't count towards a scum win. I just ride their coat tails. Yes, I'm aware of that. Nevertheless, if someone leaves the game and the scum is pretty sure you've switched, they could simply announce having so done and you and they could tie up the vote then finish things that night or the next day. Actually, now that I think about it, if we mislynch today you and Para could both just switch alignment tonight and joint with scum tomorrow. Which makes me a little more hesitant to just lie back and take a mislynch... Huh. Cookies (allegedly) has no incentive to play with town if town looks like a losing bargain. Nor do you or Para if you're not aligned with them at the time. Swammerdami might have an incentive to play pro-town, or even just prolong the game, depending on his wincon. It'd be nice to get the full PM soon, dude. Actually, for that matter, do we know anything about texcat? Has she claimed yet or have we just been assuming she's town because of her voting record? I'm feeling more and more alone the more I think about this. I need to go back and check tomorrow after work. Or someone can just remind me between now and then. Dang. This lynch actually could decide the game. I need to think. I was only considering the option of sinjin OR Para switching, not both.

Here's my complete role PM. Welcome to the Game; you are Milton GlassSTARTING ALIGNMENT: Third Party SUB-ALIGNMENT: Survivor ROLE TYPE: Disarmer
Subject ID #34145: Milton Glass (dob ca. 1910) – Researcher and academic with multiple PhDs in a variety of inter-related sciences... former head of the Gila Flats particle physics research institute, and patron of Jon Osterman (who became "Dr. Manhattan")... unlikely to take an active fighting role in any conflict but broad base of scientific knowledge and experience may prove useful under diverse circumstances. ABILITIES:Professor Glass recently discovered a very tiny device implanted in the body of a research subject who had died by other means; he was not able to determine the purpose of this device, but he was able to engineer a way to deactivate it without harming its host. He is fairly certain that the intentions of this device's originator(s) are not at all benign.
Once per Night, Glass may target any player and, if the target has an implanted device, deactivate it. Glass is also capable of disarming bombs, should such a skill ever become useful. WIN CONDITION:Professor Glass will win if he is alive at the end of the game, but only if whatever player or faction is responsible for creating these strange devices does not win. I've posted almost all of this before, but skipping over the single sentence about disarming bombs, which now seems useless. (I successfully removed two implants -- the one on Colby and, last Night, an [irrelevant with Bill Dead?] implant on myself.)Yes I could have disarmed the Bomb on Abstain and lied to him that I couldn't. ... Yay me!

Vote Patricia[/color]
Let's see the goods.
I wouldn't mind seeing Texcat's role either, since we're pretty much in mass claim territory.

Time for me to full claaaiiiimmmm. Welcome to the Game; you are Silk Spectre IISTARTING ALIGNMENT: Third Party SUB-ALIGNMENT: Unaligned ROLE TYPE: Investigator/Doctor
Subject ID #33673: Laurel Jane Juspeczyk (b. 1949) – also “Laurie Juspeczyk," "Silk Spectre II," and "Sandra Hollis." Daughter of Sally Juspecyzk ("Jupiter", the original Silk Spectre) and Edward Blake ("The Comedian"), though the paternal aspect of her parentage remains unknown to her... Impulsive, thrill-seeking behavior as a child and adolescent... drawn to career as costumed vigilante partly out of sense of obligation to famous mother... skilled and improvisational close-quarters combatant... closely tied to Daniel Dreiberg (the second Nite Owl)... exact nature of this relationship unknown. Stubborn, contrary... determined to choose own path no matter the cost. ABILITIES:Once per Night, Juspecyzk will investigate a player of her choice, incidentally protecting that player from harm in the process. Her investigation will show her target's starting alignment (ie, the alignment the player was originally assigned in his/her role PM), but will not contain any information about possible alignment changes subsequent to game start.
Juspeczyk may not investigate the same player more than once.
Should Juspeczyk actually locate Dan Dreiberg via her investigations, the two of them are likely to interact outside of the game. The possible outcome of such an interaction is difficult to predict. WIN CONDITION:Laurie Juspecyzk is pathologically stubborn... it will be difficult for any side to draw her in until she has chosen for herself. She may choose an alignment at will, with the establishment of alignment taking place at the end of the Day or Night on which the choice is made. Should Juspecyzk choose to become Town, she will win with the Town; should she choose to become Scum, she will win with the Scum (but not count toward their win condition, learn their identities, or join in their talks).
Should Laurie Juspeczyk encounter Dan Dreiberg after she has selected an alignment, any incompatibility between their outlooks will have to be resolved.
Note that until she chooses an alignment, Juspeczyk is considered an unaligned third party survivor and will lose if she dies before aligning. If she wishes, she may choose to retain this starting alignment, without joining any side at all, throughout the game; in such a case, she will win if she is alive at the end of the game.
I have two living targets. One is Cookies. One is Fruit And Garbage. One was scum at the start of the game. The other was a third party. I'll reveal which soon enough. And if you're wondering why I thought colby was third party it was mostly because I investigated him, along with Abstain the night he got blown up, which leads me to believe what killed him was a piercing ability. Fun stuff. I'd rather not lynch Patricia today - I will take tonight to protect her and find out her starting alignment and she should in turn protect me. Thank you Paranoia I would love to invite you to spend this evening with me and I will be happy to protect you tonight. Sorry I didn't RSVP sooner but alas work sometimes just gets in the way. I will post more after I finish reading today

That does discount the possibility that Paranoia is a scum-aligned investigator and discovered an easy lynch target when he found what he knew was a miller as a result of knowing I wasn't on his team. I'd be less likely to think that was possible if we hadn't already seen an alignment cop flip. Mostly what I suspect is Patricia as scum, Paranoia and Cookies being honest, and the three "suspicious" voters just having been wrong. Obviously given that I know I'm a miller I'd rather see her lynched today, but like I said, we should be able to pull this out regardless. Probably. If I get lynched and someone dies overnight (let's say texcat just because she's the safest scum target), that'd leave us with: Paranoia sinjin ...cookies patricia swammerdami If patricia is the only scum, the only way she'd win is if sinjin switches alignment to scum tonight (or already has, not that it would have been good strategy until now) AND a third-party achieves a win and leaves the game. Or scum somehow pull out a double-kill. So basically I feel pretty good about my chances either way, but I certainly don't intend to support what I know is a mislynch. Plus, I think we can end the game now without the possibility of something unforeseen throwing a wrench in the words if we Vote: patricia. Well I'm not scum but hey you may be right we may be down to only one scum. If that is the case my money is on you

I'd really like to see all of Patricia's PM before making a decision Today. Sorry to disappoint but I have posted all I'm going to until we see a claim from texcat she has been riding some day one credit for a while now. I still have some doubts, yes she was right on the day one lynch but she could have been bussing her scum buddy and it got out of hand. I for one would like to see a claim as most all have claimed already. Also, anyone else think we may be down to one scum and everyone else is third party?

My apologies. I had to go back to look, but sure enough, you had already answered.
Most docs do not know when their protection was successful, but I gather you do. I presume that has something to do with your win con, so I'm not sure why you are keeping it such a secret.
And no, to the only one scum idea; I think scum successfully recruited someone last Night. So we must be up to 2 scum at least. SisC claimed to turn down the recruitment offer on N3, but no one claimed to have turned it down N4.

Assuming for the moment that you are not just stalling more because you are finding it difficult to manufacture the rest of your role, I don't think you hold the power in this negotiation that you think you have.

Assuming for the moment that you are not just stalling more because you are finding it difficult to manufacture the rest of your role, I don't think you hold the power in this negotiation that you think you have. From the time I got my PM I was like this WinCon is next to impossible - if I do a full claim it won't happen. So my choice is to claim and have no way to win or not claim and maybe be lynched but still have a small chance to meet my wincon. So I'm sure my choice is clear to everyone Anyway, yesterday I forgot to vote Vote: Fruit

So after Fruit - Tex seems sure there is more than 1 scum - maybe she is the one recruited - as she had townie credit and would make a great addition to the scum team.

Ok, fine Not having a good day in real life and I have let that slip into this game sorry folks Anyway Night one I protected TexCat - I felt she would be the scum target after Day One's Lynch as she started the wagon on a scum - When she wasn't the target night one I started to think she was scum and that why I voted for her Day Two Night Two I self protected as I was getting heat for wanting to Lynch TexCat Day Two Night Three - I didn't get back in time to send in any orders which is on me but real life got busy How do you know I wasn't the target when Unvote: Fruit Vote: Patricia

Here's a idea why don't you explain? As you haven't claimed anything - I have noticed that my votes are the unclaimed in the group - thinking it is getting really hard for scum to hide at this point. I'm ok with being today's lynch as I can still win after I'm dead and the remaining scum will be easy to find in my voters Unvote: Fruit Vote: [ Patricia

Honestly I wouldn't mind full claims from everyone at this point
Also it's like everyone magically forgets that I plan on verifying patricia's claims tonight - I mean I Can check if they're third party and they have to protect me anyway. If I die without her dying then whooops she's lyin' lynch her tomorrow.
I would much rather verify the guilty on someone who didn't claim miller until it was convenient without you all getting your knickers in a twist and getting distracted.

Yep, you can check Patricia tonight, and I guess we would have Fruit's flip to base the veracity of your claim on. It's just so obvious that Patricia is fibbing. First she says I wasn't targeted and now she says I was unavailable for protection?

I've heard it's sometimes best for Townie (or Town-aligned Third-party) to help Kill herself -- the idea is part of Sister Coyote's .sig -- and hope someone will explain it again. But I do not think this is one of those cases. Your misLynch may give info, Patricia, if you force Scum to be the votes that misLynch.

First she says I wasn't targeted and now she says I was unavailable for protection? Unvote: Patricia Vote: Fruit The problem therewith like I lined out above is that if you do lynch me today with the intention of verifying Patricia's claim tonight via Para, if I flip town it's likely that Patricia is scum. She'll kill you since there's no more protectors now that Meeko's dead, and the best strategic move on the parts of sinjin and Para would be to switch to Scum. The day would end that morning or following the lynch that they could infallibly control. If you and I are the last town players, we will in all likelihood lose upon mislynching me. What I said earlier in the day had discounted that both Para AND sinjin can switch alignments, since I'd forgotten. I'd be really hesitant even from outside my own situation to believe the claim of someone who STILL will not reveal her wincon even to save her own neck. I think she's just afraid of getting caught in a lie, and the self-vote is a bluff. Separately, I have to ask... I know claiming miller after being investigated is "convenient", but when would a better time have been? Early on so people would assume I was dumb scum trying to head off an investigation? After everyone else had fullclaimed, so it looked like I was backed into a corner? I dunno, it's just a pretty crappy role to get stuck with. There's never a time to claim that won't look suspicious and convenient. I thought I'd been playing pretty adequately with it, given the limitations that come with it. e: it's actually also in the best interest of the third parties not to lynch me today. I thhhhink. If things pan out like I described, it's likely that one of you will be killed to achieve overrun numbers, and since swammer and cookies both claim to need to survive to win at this point, mislynching me will prevent that from being doable. You'd each have a fifty percent chance of losing, with no real way to control which of you goes. To say nothing of the Bad Feelings that might be caused between players when the scum have to pick who wins and loses.

Patricia, if you would spend more time explaining your actions, motivations, and results in clear wording and less time jumping to conclusions without any input from others and getting defensive and trying to act like an affronted Townie doc, which you aren't, maybe you would not have received as much pressure as you have
Speaking as another 3rd party who has made a full claim, your clinging to secrets at this late stage makes little to no sense and I think you are darn lucky that there is a miller claim to deal with first.
