Chameleon, why are you voting a Townie power, I don't get it And she's *only* voting that power. Thus avoiding leaving a record for the lynch leaders.

In fact, Vote: xarchangelx I am putting my vote where my mouth is. I think town needs to see my flip now. Even if you are scum, why would you do this?

I'm not scum. I'm town and I think my death will make some things clear.

Of course, sometimes he must be scum and in those cases he would simulate it, I guess. But yes, the role makes sense as a role and it would be dumb to lie about it. Only foolish town and scum vote based on playing style, so that meta-game pattern is not helpful.
And yet I'm being voted on, including by Pleonast, based on my playing style.

Vote: Chameleon
Why are you so against Patricia that has actually given us results.

Silverjan, I voted myself because the lynch is still close. Someone could try to swing it to another player now and succeed. I want to die because I think my death will get the most information at this point. So I'm putting another vote on myself to widen the gap.

(Pleonast, whether town or scum and I am increasingly leaning latter, successfully convinced me that the most pro-town thing I can do is to get my suspicions down and then flip.)

Your behavior in previous games has no bearing on your alignment in this game. In a perfect world, that is true. In the real world, I have town tells and scum tells, and BillM knows both of them. Why are you saying this now? If you are town, I don't see this statement as pro-town (you're the one who urged town to be willing to die but to state their suspicions). If you are scum, you know I am going to flip town and may be trying to mitigate damage for your team. Because my words will have more resonance when I flip town. I'm saying it now because you're now trying to use meta-game arguments into influence players in this game. And your meta-game argument has nothing to do with your suspicions, but is be proffered as a defense. You say you behave a certain way when you're town. The fact that you're self-aware enough to call out your own tell means you're clever enough to fake it too. Judging behavior in the current game is the only reliable way to evaluate alignment. You are trying to distract players from your current behavior and current alignment by appealing to past games and past alignments. That is suspicious. In fact, Vote: xarchangelx I am putting my vote where my mouth is. I think town needs to see my flip now. And now you are muddying the vote record by voting for a player you claim is town. If you are really town, your play is hurting your own team.

When I flip my alignment will be shown and my intentions will be shown to have been pure.

And I'm not defending myself at all, I'm committing suicide. That post makes no sense. I am doing precisely what you suggested, laying down what I believe before I die, and I think it's pissing you off.

And yet I'm being voted on, including by Pleonast, based on my playing style. I'm voting for you for "two late votes on Day One and no others, a late Day-Two vote on Last an no one else, and lazy follow-on votes on Day Three". That's your voting record, not your play style.

I will be if you flip town, because a townie voting for a player they know is town is precisely the most anti-town thing possible (except for in a few bizarre game-state situations). Townies should never play anti-town.

And, I want this on the record too. You are voting me because of my voting record, you say. But you are ignoring my behavior now. If I am scum the only possible motivation for me voting myself would be to swing the vote away from someone else. So who is it that you think I am protecting?

Whoever it was (sorry, not going back to check who at the moment because I'm leaving on a trip) that suggested that Mahaloth being a scum Scotsman to counter the balance aspect of the scum team actually makes a lot of sense to me. Vote: Mahaloth I don't see Archangel being scum, so I am not going to vote for them. I just don't see it at this time. Gnarly is getting a little suspicious by being quiet, but that is typical Gnarly. But I am still going to leave a vote there Vote: Gnarlycharlie Finally, a question to Chameleon- why are you voting for a claimed power who outed a scum player? Do you honestly believe that she is scum? If so, why would she claim? Vote: Chameleon That's it for now. Hope everyone has a good weekend! I'm going to go see my new nephew
