Your analyses could influence any Colonist night actions too, though, for the better.

Yeah, but they can also make you end up Dead. Last game Mhaye or Mtgman said they had a big post for the morning.... Next morning, we all woke up.... And who was dead?
I believe Night convos are too easily manipulated by scum (Since they can talk at night AND get to pick who to kill). So yes, I'll take the negative cost of "Okay, I'm not helping out the Colonists" at the expense of "I REALLY REALLY Don't want to have NIGHT WIFOM to deal with when sorting out the morning kills along with the Previous Day's WIFOM".
So I will not be adding anything of value till the Day ever. I dislike the night chatting, but YMMV.

Sorry to see you go zuma. Maybe you should stop drinking all the wine in front of you Diomedes: If you have some analysis on a particular person which is pretty solid, I would say tell us. If the analysis is a bit WIFOMy then I would say leave it until the morning.

I'm sorry, zuma. It's just...I couldn't help remembering what happened last time you blamed your weird stuff on posting drunk.

drainbead: there's absolutely no reason that we need to hypothesize that any scum doing something necessarily have to be setting up a team strategem, especially on day one.

drainbead: there's absolutely no reason that we need to hypothesize that any scum doing something necessarily have to be setting up a team strategem, especially on day one. I didn't think any Night actions got to do anything on Night Zero, including scum strategy. So I don't think it was possible for them to gambit, especially not that early.

That's what I'm saying, though--sure they didn't have a chance to talk, that doesn't mean one might have set up something on his own hook on day one and talk the rest of the scum into going along with it right now.
I don't think we should rule out any long-term things that seem to have started on day one just because scum couldn't have planned that early, is all.

I see your point, zeriel. So far the evidence (what little we have) seems to be stacking up against it, but I'll keep it in the back of my mind upon re-reads.

*sound of insects rubbing their legs together*
And now I'm blind after getting my picture taken by mrsin with my new Christmas "It takes pictures underwater camera." What doesn't everybody celebrate Christmas the day after Thanksgiving?

You're blind after trying out your underwater camera with your husband? Nope, no jokes just begging to be cracked in that little scenario. None at all.

Howdy, everyone! I hope everyone who celebrated the recent holiday enjoyed it, and that our non-US members had... er... a nice Thursday. The current plan is still to end the Day at 5:00PM EST today (Saturday). Does anyone have strong objections to this? I can extend by 24 hours to tomorrow evening, if the group as a whole would prefer.

Well now, story, anyone who objects would be someone who had an advantage in extending the night time. Who could that be? That wasn't very nice of you. I have no objections to the deadline staying where it is. ;D

We Want Blud!
Let the Day begin as scheduled. It'll give me an incentive to hold that morale-boosting concert.
For which, by the way, I have assembled an impressive array of instruments of all kinds. Some of them even work. I'd like to thank the kind owners who loaned them to me... but they're dead.
Oh well, thanks anyway.
