As our heroes make their way into a dark dungeon, they are reminded by their guide, Sir Cheesehead, that there are treasures and gems galore in this cave. Most of the adventurers are there for the gold and the glory. There are a few select others... that are bandits and want the stupid adventurers to leave and die.
Because I forgot to put this, here are the goals for both Town and Scum
Town must eliminate all Scum to win
Scum must control the lynch in order to win
As they come into the first room, the adventurers see two gems, a Black Gem and a Green Gem. You may choose to grab a Gem as you pass by, or you can leave them alone. None of the spiders will hurt you... Except maybe that giant one in the corner........
Day will end on Tuesday at 2pm Central Time

Was it not your intention to cast suspicion on Angel and/or Maha based solely on the way that they requested the gems and the speed at which they did so? If you are being genuine in your suspicions, then I can't find the logic behind it... I can't see either of them taking the steps to consider what it says about their alignment to request one of them gems or to do so in one fashion or another using specific language so as to appear more innocent or plant WiFoM. If your suggestion of suspicion was not genuine then you are just trying to plant that seed of doubt against them in a subtle yet entirely non-sensical way. Either way, I am already confused by trying to figure out what your aim was when you commented on either of them. |

mod question: is there only one of each gem available? kind of like the early bird gets the worm. can a player put it back if they want to? do the gems resolve at any specific point? if a player dies and their gem hasn't been "activated" does the gem go back or is it gone foreve?
i don't know that i want a gem anyways. i kind of want to see what they do. i would suggest that angel and maha put a vote down on different folks. then we request a mod vote count and see, at least, if one of them might possibly be a vote charger or something related to voting. other than that i got nothing. if the durn thing has a Day or Night killing ability or some sort of roleblocker, watcher, tracker, etc. we probably won't know a durn thing until they start working. even then, this becomes kind of problematic because if it is one of the actions then somehow they have to know this before they use the durn thing.
angel and maha: have you received anything that gives any indication as to what your gem does, if anything?

The gems twist resolves at Dusk, if they happen to get a bonus and they get lynched... Well they are dead. It does not protect you from a lynch. Also, you may put gems down, or change gems... Or just not take one. It is your choice |

I like peeker's idea very much. Archangel and Mahaloth, can you each place a vote, even just a placeholder vote? It'd be helpful to see if your gems have any effect on the vote count.
Meanwhile, I'm going to try this:

For no reason other than to experiment with the possible effects of the gem; this vote will be removed once the next vote count is posted.

May an individual player have more than one gem at a time? And will the colors of the gems be consistent each day or will they vary?

first, i don't see the wifom from maha in his post. care to give the clueless a litte more analysis on how this conclusion was reached.
second, i don't quite understand the logic between politeness and alignment. i mean angel hasn't used any of george carlin's seven words that i can recall. so i am clueless on this one as well. any chance for further explanation.

quick question for the crowd. do you type directly on to the web site or do you use something like word and then just copy and paste. i mean several times in the past i have composed a compelling piece of literature and then hit the wrong button and, poof, it is gone. typically at that point i say fuck it, apparantly it was not meant to be.
