I'm not sure whether these are particularly active nowadays, but just in case anyone wants to follow along unspoiled (notably, anyone who wants to be considered as a possible sub if such is necessary), here's a thread to do it.

I'm not at all surprised that the game is pointing towards a patricia lynch. However, I don't think patricia is scum at all. While the statements she has made are inconsistent and a bit flighty, I don't see anything that is all that scummy. Sure everyone is pointing to stuff and calling that scummy, but really, the only thing patricia has done was be inconsistent and illogical -- neither of which is proof of scum.
Actually, I think patricia has done the most townie thing of all. She brazenly (and short-sightedly) called out FOUR different players for a rather minor infraction. Her willingness to throw down with four seemingly random players is super-townie in my book. I don't see a scummy patricia doing that at all. Assuming patricia is scum, then the four she calls out have to be mostly townies. That's insane to get four people to look at you with scrutiny. Scum HATE being scrutinized. Why put yourself out there like that. Scum should much better want to single ONE player out and stick to that. Scum have to ruffle some feathers, but minimizing the ruffling is a much better play. I think patricia knows this and as a scum she would be hyper-aware of it. No way as scummy patricia calls out four different players for some minor (made-up) thing.
That leaves me very suspicious of the players voting for patricia who I think should know better. I'm looking at Guiri as a scummy. The ameliorating factor is that I agree with Guiri about MentalGuy. His concern about how he appears is precisely the flip side of why I think patricia is Town. patricia didn't think at all about how she would be perceived -- thus TOWN. MentalGuy is very aware of how he is perceived -- thus SCUM.

I guess I'm talking to myself, at least until someone finally dies.
To me, the patricia situation reveals quite a bit. At least I think it does. I've already stated why I think Patricia is town. - Furthermore, it makes little sense for scum to waste resources to un-hollow a scum player that's already been lynched. Especially if that player is really poisoned. I could also argue that giving scum the ability to un-hollow themselves is kind of ridiculous. (though giving that power to Town is also a bit over powered. In my head I see people giving souls to patricia to undo whatever scum do at night. I guess scum would just have to kill patricia then to combat that, but it does set up something potentially weird. But I guess there is no way Town would be able to see that they can leverage patricia's power for something demonstrably pro-Town. Heck, patricia is already getting votes.) hmmm. Something isn't right here. - The poisoner is likely a Town Player. The choice of patricia is consistent with a Town Player and inconsistent with Scum goals. patricia is a high lynch candidate. Scum should not want to kill off patricia, they want her around to get lynched. As a Town Player, eliminating the Town Choice for death is a compelling choice. The only problem I have is that a truly Town player should have chosen not to poison anybody. But I don't know if that is a choice or not. I can also argue that killing off patricia "for information" could appeal to a Townie poisoner.

To me it seems that Chameleon is a candidate for a storyteller 'game within a game.' If Chameleon is truthful about needing a specific player dead, then I think it entirely plausible that said player needs Chameleon dead. In my view, this makes Chameleon a self-correcting problem. I anticipate this other player will kill Chameleon the first chance he or she gets, by lynch AND by night action.

Wow! I'm super surprised. I didn't think Patricia would wind up being scum at all! Everything pretty much happened as she said it would and her ability to unhollow seemed legit. I'm very curious about her claim and how it worked. I don't see how scum could have the ability to unhollow themselves. Very interesting.
Town is having a perfect game so far. All three lynches have been on Hostile players. I don't think we've ever seen that before. Though two were on the same player so that doesn't really count.

What the hell are the chances that on Night 1 a watcher will watch the person targeted in a game of 17 players - that's a 1 in 17 chance. It was pure luck and screwed the game up entirely for me Am I allowed to say who I think certain players might be? I don't actually know, but I have information that hasn't been revealed in the main game thread that leads me to believe certain possibilities. I'm also a bit surprised that Patricia was a baddie - although I wasn't convinced she was Town.

A sample size of two is small, but the past two games I've had a killing stroke and used it to kill scum by targeting the day 1 runner up for the lynch.

My top choice for Scum is guiri; 2nd choice abstain; distant 3rd Meeko.
What do others think?

I'm entirely lost at this point.. So it wouldn't surprise me any to see any of them flip scum.
I feel like I attempted to help my team the best I could. I feel that possibly my power was more of a hinderance than a help, especially since I stayed alive for so long. I should have been killed almost immediately.
Which makes me feel that my power was less threatening compared to others

Scum might have wanted you to clear the Traitor. I had the unique power to identify Traitor ... so of course they Lynched me too!

I've felt that Guiri was hostile since the beginning (basically for not telling WotB that I attacked him right away), so I'll stick with that. I may have been hostile, but I didn't actually lie *that* much I'm really mad at myself for not calling out Maha - I wasn't entirely sure, but I had a pretty good idea he was Pate (although I didn't know whether or not Pate was hostile to WotB) and I could have gained some credibility to keep me alive a bit longer if anyone would have believed me.

Guiri, speaking of Gnarly: "Healing is a perfect good cover for a traitor." I called him on this before -- Gnarly is cleared of Treason.
Yet we know Guiri keeps meticulous notes and is as clever as a fox. This makes me certain guiri is Scum; will anyone else pick up on it?
As a matter of balance, with four Hostiles dead already, guiri's Lynching will probably end the game.

The only reason I don't think it's Meeko is because he's putting so much effort into the game and he's said he hates being Scum - to the point of not wanting to play if he is. If he's turned over a new leaf then I have to say well played.

You've probably played with him a lot more than I have. I just remember him being rather upset with the idea of being Scum and saying he didn't want to play if he was.

Not to hijack this thread, but I'm debating collecting my thoughts on this in another thread. ..... It would have to be a more serious venture for me though.

When you find this game, ... Let me know. Because I can't think of a single game where I've been scum and won, much less played a crucial role. It wasn't you that saved scum, it was in your game Zany Zoo I moderated a game? I must have repressed it. (But seriously, I underestimated the effort needed to mod.)
