Of course, if storyteller is going to be true to canon, I would expect a combat model, a labourer, an assassin dancer and a pleasure model. Of course that only makes four of them. Hmm. It makes 5 altogether if you include the Nexus-9, so that looks reasonable. As for my guess about the "unblockable Night kill", I had that thought after NAF died. The fact that it is apparently true now makes me more suspicious of something that zuma.v2 said. I'll explain that in a separate post.

Day 4.58 zuma.v2
This was zuma's "insulting the Doc" post, after NAF was Night killed. I thought that it looked like role fishing: bringing up the Doctor and insulting him(her) really looked like it was trying to provoke a reaction. Then, after a bit of thought, I noticed something subtle. I wrote it down but decided against posting it, as it possibly fell into the category of "overthinking things". But, given that the scum apparently have(had) an "unstoppable Night kill", I'll post it now:
When zuma.v2 made his insulting-the-doc post I was annoyed but I understood his reaction: when NAF was killed I thought "why the heck wasn't he protected?" I mean, there was no other obvious target that Night (all due respect to atarus, but a mason is not a big target at this stage). But then I also wondered - since NAF was very likely to be protected, why was he targeted? Yes, they knew he was a powerful role, but there's no use targeting someone who is extremely likely to be protected.
So then I thought, what if he actually was protected, but died anyway? If scum have a role blocker then the Doctor may have been blocked, but this is unlikely for 2 reasons: 1. It would be pretty damned amazing to pick out the Doctor like that 2. A role blocker would have been more usefully used to block NAF that Night, both to prevent him from resurrecting anyone and to guard against any nasty comebacks
So it probably wasn't a normal role blocker thing. So what else could it be? Well, perhaps scum have a special one-off ability to guarantee that their kill goes through. But then, why did they wait until now? Why not kill him on Night 1? Well, perhaps they were saving it to use on the Blade Runner when he claimed. With the Blade Runner gone, NAF became the main target.
Now this was just a bit of idle speculation. But then I reread zuma's post and I noticed something intriguing. Here is what he said: "No cops, and an apparently shitty doc who failed to protect NAF."
Notice that he qualified it: it's not "a shitty doc" but "an apparently shitty doc".
What the heck does "apparent" mean? I can see that it could mean "you may have protected NAF, but it didn't work". But I can't think what else it could mean. And I can't see why anyone would think "may have protected" rather than "did not protect".
So, a question for zuma.v2: what did you mean by "an apparently shitty doc"?

Seems like I am useful after all.
For now, I'll vote episodeofblonde.
However, Captain Klutz and zuma v. 2 have some interesting comments we'll have to follow up on.

I have returned from Disney World, and to my "K" key.
DAY SIX VOTE COUNT, PAGE FOUR EDITION episodeofblonde (6) - Roosh, Captain Klutz, diggitcamara, sinjin, Santo Rugger, Parzival Roosh (2) - CatinaSuit v. 2.0, zuma v. 2.0 zuma v. 2.0 (1) - atarus CatinaSuit v. 2.0 (1) - Death by Irony
Ten votes have been cast. The Day will end at 12:00PM EST tomorrow, Sunday, December 29, or in about 14 hours.
------
Two questions have been addressed to me since I was around last. On the subject of the departed:
Tragic, the Laborer, had no active powers. She did have the passive ability to detect if anything was removed or added to her person at any time.
Kassia, the Speculator, had the ability to take control of Replicants. The means by which this was accomplished was not discernible by examination of her body. Not everything about her abilities has been, or will be, elucidated.
----
On the subject of "Wedlock Bracelets - " you have, to date, seen no such device on the bodies of any of the dead. This does not mean that they were or were not present, simply that you didn't collectively observe them if they were. All the bodies have been sent to the local crematorium - every frontier town needs a local crematorium - so retrospective examination is not possible.

Roosh: My problem with your vote is not that you didn't unvote but that you voted for her in the first place breaking a tie with someone you considered highly suspicious and who later turned out to be scum. Fair enough. I didn't like the way you've been going after me, but if that's your main reason, it's a legit one, and one I can't really fix. I accept that blame, and though it wasn't really my intention (as I was suspicious of Drainbead, but had no real indications of scumminess or not- all I had was that she really tried hard to try to smudge/lynch me and it was a weird attempt by her to do so.) Good to know that my feelings on it were vindicated, but then again, I feel the same way about you on the matter. But your reasoning makes sense at least ( drain's attacks vs. me were just odd phrasings and arguments that made no sense if she had actually read through my posts). And I believe when I voted there was a 3 way tie between 3 people. Either way I would have created a damning situation for myself by voting for 2 people and NOT drainbead. It had also been a lull in the conversation, and I felt that nothing was going on. So I wanted my vote to spur some people into talking some more and at least get the ball rolling in a sense. Since then well, the events have happened as they happened, and we're left with what's been done. And yeah, I admit what I did looks bad on paper. I can only offer my explanations for my actions and my own thinking. After that... I can't do much else to defend myself. But I appreciate the clarification, as your reasons for suspicious are better than those presented vs. me in the past (via Drainbead, Episode and Dotchan). It makes my feelings about you a bit less harsher, and I apologize if I've been rude to you, Cat. As I think I have, it's only in game banter really, but it may have been excessive.... So sorry for that, and have a happy Holidays and New year in this time. But I still maintain I know who and what I am, and I think your suspicions of me are unfounded. But I accept them at least for now-- this just hasn't been my Day toDay....

If it were completely up to me, the order I would lynch in:
episodeofblonde Captain Klutz zuma Version 2.0 (Blaster Master)
CatinaSuit v. 2.0 (Hal Briston) Death by Irony Roosh
Kat v. 2.0 (Yattara) Parzival
With the second two groups in no particular order.
Although, I do wonder why Kat has been very strangely quiet?

Rugger, I explained why I thought that in post #91 above. Were you unhappy with that explanation? I mean, that was exactly my thinking to arrive at that conclusion. It's all part of trying to figure out the setup and what we are up against.
I suspect that if I had originally posted the full explanation, rather than merely giving the conclusion, then it would not have aroused much suspicion. But hey, I'll try it again, just for fun: I suspect that episodeofblonde is a combat model, with the special ability of having an additional Night kill. This is not based on any special knowledge, it's a conclusion I've reached by looking at how the game is progressing. I'm not entirely confident about it, but I believe it's a reasonable guess. I'll explain my thinking behind it during the Night.

It's all part of trying to figure out the setup and what we are up against. <snip> Yes, I am unhappy with that explanation. First, it's written in the past tense, which means you composed it now to explain something that happened in the past. It sounds to me like your reread of zuma's post didn't happen until after diggit's claim. But your "idle speculation" happened before. It seems like if you had "figured out" the unstoppable kill, that post would have pinged you hard enough to post it when you originally thought it. Maybe because it's because I can't sleep, but the timeline just seems shakey to me.

Sorry for my absence (although I did make it back for a vote). I've had company over all week, and one of them managed to get sick a few days ago. I've been reading when I've had time, but haven't been able to devote time to analysis.
If it weren't for their role claims, I would be voting for Roosh or Captain Klutz, as they're still coming across scummy to me. Maybe I've got a defective scum detector?
I've reskimmed just this Day real quick and, of the others, I've decided to vote zuma, mostly for the "apparently shitty doc" comment

I am really sorry everyone. It looks like I am going to get lynched and I probably deserve it. I'm visiting family and I thought internet access was going to be much easier than it has been. I probably shouldn't have played due to the limited time I've had, but I really didn't know it was going to be this difficult to get the time . But I have finally caught up. CIAS, you say I have explaining to do. Anything I think can be 'explained', I have explained. Day One I was all over the place - I'd never played mafia before. I was reacting to things as they came. My Guv vote for Parzival was a random one. Who am I suspicious of? I am still suspicious of Klutz. zuma2 has been weird. And I'm really not sold on Roosh's role claim. vote Roosh

et tu, Episode?
That drive by vote was worse than Zuma's.
Confirm Vote Episode. I'm def. sure now that I'm doing the right thing.
And My current Suspects list: Episode CaiS (though it's weakened) Zuma2.0
Suspicious: Kat's Silence. Klutz' knowledge (though he's also suspicious of Zuma), so I guess its his role claim that's saving him here
Very very faint paranoid suspicion that I probably won't act on ever: I'm scared of Gov.Rugger's Blue Pee claim. Only because our other Blue Micturater (I don't think that's a word even) turned out NOT to be the most pro-townie of people. The Speculator was a survivor sorta person, and so I'm just a little bit worried in a "oh shit worse case scenario" sorta way about the Blue Pee business. Especially since we've not had more of their pee-rs (pun intended) show up..... But Pleo's calling Gov. Rugger townie kinda helps out making these fears one I won't ever act on really there. But still. I'm a worrier.
