I suppose it's not against any rules, but I'm curious. Are there any other members of this forum who aren't playing in the game?

I think that person is from the SDMB-- there were invitations to come and lurk, like the "werewolves don't come in here" commentary threads at SD.

This game certainly has a different vibe, what with the entire SDMB having forgotten about us and all.

It is kinda strange that no one seems to be watching this game.
Too bad, I was looking forward to reading the forbiden thread when I was done. See what thories outsiders came up with that I didn't.

Well, you could always go into the M3 forbidden thread and advertise. I'm certainly sure anyone who enjoyed the Day 2 CF in M2 would enjoy this one too.

People actually enjoyed that? IIRC, yes. Seriously, I was running full-steamed on high emotion, completely wrong headed, but I was enjoying myself. Just there are people who like to rubberneck accidents and look at the carnage, I'm sure some of the onlookers found it amusing. And, of course, the mafia probably had ear-to-ear grins the whole time. Of course, this is actually more entertaining (I think) since we actually have something more to go on than "I disagree, you must be scum." and "Oh yeah, well I'm a verifiable power role. Therefore, if you're against me, you must be scum."

Well, I did...but I think I was the only one. You really needed to have perfect knowledge to properly appreciate M2.

Yeah, I guess it retrospect it was pretty amusing. I was too busy having an M2-induced anyeurism that day to properly enjoy it.

Just sayin'. Well Day 2 sure. But you couldn't see the grand majesty of the whole situation. Watching Monkey Mench work really was a pleasure. Hell watching you work was fun story.

I hope no-one's too upset about the way this game is panning out. From my seat it's highly entertaining.

I'll admit to having enjoyed the unfolding saga of M2 as well. I think in the end I just gave up and let it wash over me.

I'd love to play in Idle's too, but my pea-brain can only handle one game at a time. I've already got a half-full notebook for this game.

I'd love to play in Idle's too, but my pea-brain can only handle one game at a time. I've already got a half-full notebook for this game. Since a couple of you have expressed interest, if anyone who hasn't already PMd me wants in, PM me (here or, preferably, on the Dope). I don't really want to save TOO many spots, because I don't want to go in saying "Okay, this game will have 25 players, but because I have 22 spots reserved...". It also seems like part of the reason the mods there are limiting the games is because they're a bit "cliquish". That said, I probably will try to limit the number of spots I reserve. Of course, in sticking with the seeming tradition, the host of the previous game (Mal) would get a spot saved for him automatically, were he interested. Of course, that all said... I'll still open a thread here and announce sign-ups, so I doubt anyone that's really interested and I can't save a spot for will still have a good chance of getting in.

BM, reserve me a spot please.
Remember when I defended you when everyone was about to string you up? Before I turned to the dark side and all?

Actually, it's really important to get regular turnover of players, otherwise everyone gets to know each others play styles and the game gets stale. Thus by all means limit the number of reservations.
I'd like to continue playing, but my guest membership on the Dope is up so I've gone back to lurking. That probably means playing here, if Idle (or someone else) wants to run games.

I'd just as soon referee again as play, but I'm happy to let someone else have a turn first. I think next time the pirates can be town, which leaves you to guess who the scum faction would be. ;D

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE playing (and this game is awesome BTW Mal) but moding the game was insanely fun. I am on the list to do another one on the dope, but I think I have 4 or 5 people in front of me.

FTR, I already got a lot of responses, so I'm locking down the reservations for now, except for Mal (as professional courtesy). I'll still make sure to make a notice post here when the signups go up. I'm working on the roles and the background story right now. I think I'm having too much fun with this.
