So what's up Idle and other lurkers not in the game? Can we post more than the actual players? I think so. To start with: I just bought a new ginormous truck. I think I lost my mind actually. What's new with you? Michigan is cold, white and boring too.

Mandate of Heaven is considering either 1) halving the current deadline (which is just the same as the number it takes to lynch) or 2) randomly killing off somebody if a 24 hour period of silence passes.

What kind of Truck? I have a Medium sized "liddle" one. It's a 2004 Chevy S-10, Cab (4 Doors). BeFORE they made it into the Colorado and covered it in plastic.

I'm on the eight at a time plan with Netflix. Great for when boredom strikes. Always something to watch.

It's a Silverado 2500hd. Traded in a bmw for it. Major change, first auto tranny I've had in decades, also first diesel ever. I'm having a strange urge to get a tattoo.

Why the change? Especially in the time of current Gas prices (My truck was my first "official" car, so I've never really had anything else), but the mileage just KILLS me, its nearly 40 bucks every time to fill the tank.... so I'm curious as to what spurred the change? And glad it's a Chevy

ItI'm having a strange urge to get a tattoo. Get one! Tattoo's rule. I very badly want another one. I have a design I like, but haven't decided where I want it, and I have a place where I want a tattoo, but can't decided what I want there. (And no, I don't think that the two should go together. ) OH, and my band got back together last Night for the first time in months. That was fun too.

Night at the Museum is good. So was Land of the Dead and Underworld: Evolution. Shark Tale was a lot better than I thought it would be. Getting the Princess Diaries tomorrow. Those are just the movies I've seen in the last week. The other DVDs I have right now are ScoobyDoo season one, Roseanne season seven and The Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 5. All have been great (as were the LTGCVs 1-4)
Coming up, show-wise, I have Scooby seasons 2 and 3, Roseanne season 8, and the start of what is a long line of Cirque Du Soleil videos. Oh, and various movies (Open Water, Talladega Nights, Hildago, Sahara, National Treasure, Beerfest, Date Movie) too. I'll let you know how they were in this topic after I watch 'em.

So Roosh, just how big is the fuel tank in that thing?

Ooooh, tattoos! Me and the girlfriend had a good discussion over those this weekend. She so badly wants me to get a full sleeve (right arm, dragon I've been planning in my head for a while) but first i want to add to my leg (My first tattoo was an off the wall piece, and i want to make it more unique, but my artistic skills are lacking).

so I'm curious as to what spurred the change? And glad it's a Chevy Bikes, kayaks and a camper. And the mileage is not that bad, I'm getting 18mpg now during the break-in period. Should get 20-22 after putting a couple of thousand miles on it. That's better than I was getting with the beemer. It drinks bio-diesel too. I've read that some guys in the midwest are mixing their own for less than two bucks a gallon. Maybe when the warranty is done I'll home brew my own in the backyard too. Nah, the real reason is I've just always wanted a truck.

Kassia and I traded vehicles with my Mom for a few weeks, so we could bring a load of firewood and fence posts for the dog run I'm making.
Our's is a 2002 Subaru Outback. Mom's is a 2004 Dodge Hemi 2500 that you have to climb up into and takes $100 to fill the tank. Needless to say, we're looking forward to getting our's back from her this weekend.

Let him fill his truck up. So Roosh, just how big is the fuel tank in that thing? Just about 15 Gallons. And wow. 100 bucks to fill the Tank? I could NEVER justify that sadly.

I'm pretty sure it has a 30 gallon tank, so we don't have to fill it very often (I've only filled it three times since Jan 20th, and we still have half a tank in there) but it is still a guzzler compared to the Subaru.

Ok, 15 US gallons.
That's 3.6 litres (approximately) at 103p per litre (at least that's the cheapest 4-star around here).
About $110.
Think yourself lucky you don't work in Imperial gallons (1 imp gal = 1¼ US gal) - it would cost you $140 to fill up.
Good eh?

oh god lol please tell me it's not going to be in a visible place haha. I guess I'm just not much of a tattoo person but I've had so many friends get gigantic ones in visible places that they hated having a year later. one of those involves tattooing the lyrics to a britney song on his arm...

Oh and to catch up, Idle what a big bunch of dvds!! I'm in a kind of brit mood lately. I read all the Dorothy Sayers books last year and have been watching the videos that go with them. Pretty much a mixed bag as far as that goes. I really shouldn't watch movies of books I like, they never measure up. In the first bunch the guy is too fat, in the second the guy is too old and melancholy:(
I've also been watching the Jeeves and Wooster series and Black Adder. Jeeves was good for the the first few but now it's kind of redundant. Still liking black adder.

You're picking the top of your foot for your first tattoo??
My first was all the way around my left ankle (it is an intricate celtic knot pattern that I designed), so I'm definitely wincing for you vicariously, based on what I experienced kinda in the same vicinity. That certainly didn't stop me from getting 3 more after that through the years. I have a round celtic knot on top of my left shoulder blade, a nice chunky celtic knot band with flames alllll the way around my right bicep (non of those cheesy two inch gaps for me!) and just to prove that I'm not a one-style-pony, I have the kanji for "friends" on the back of my neck, which was a co-tattoo that a friend and I both got at the same time.
All of mine are in black ink, and I doubt any future tattoos will be anything other than black.

And as for the tattoo.. it will be on the top of my foot. Oh i just realized it was YOU getting the Tattoo. -_- I should have guessed from when I heard what it was. Top of the foot though... Interesting, I've heard feet tattoos tend to fade more easily over time than other located tattoos, due to the near constant rubbing/friction of feet (Socks and such things). Is this true? And if I had to get a tattoo, i'd just go with the shoulder blades or back, no clue how much it'd hurt though.

Yeah.. I realize I'm in for a boat load of pain with my particular choice but one of my childhood friends did one there and we discussed it. I think it's the best place for me and a place where I'm most comfortable. It's also easy to cover up (if needed) and easy to show off (if wanted). And Roosh.. you should've known from the get go that SW = moi There were a few other choices I could've gone with but the SW just was what made most sense for me. And would mean the most.. because yes.. I'm that much of a geek.

You should get a tiny Deathstar on the other foot, powering up a laser to shoot the rebel sign....

And if I had to get a tattoo, i'd just go with the shoulder blades or back, no clue how much it'd hurt though. Not that bad actually. That's where mine is. The only thing I regret about it is I have to take my shirt off if I am going to show it to anyone, and I am a bit shy, so almost no one sees it unless I am swimming. My next is going to be on my left forearm on the inside. That is supposed to hurt like a anything. Tragic (denouemont), the top of the foot is a cool place to get a tattoo, but make sure you really like and trust the artist, it is one of the harder places to tattoo correctly and it will hurt like a sonofabitch (so I am told). It will also fade rather quickly so get something simple enough that it can get touched up periodically.
