People, we have a slight problem in that tirial has withdrawn from the game. Would anyone think it unfair if Hal Briston substituted in? I don't think his brief foray into Skeleton Island has given him an unfair advantage.

He was also killed off in the other game today. Man that's harsh.

I wouldn't have a problem. He wasn't a full on pirate, so he didn't have any extra information. OTOH, he does have the information of whom he targetted which, if he's replacing a pirate, could deliberately falsify information that he should rightfully not have.

No problems with Hal in particular, but I will have a difficult time keeping my data straight. This of course would be the case if any previous player in this game were to sub back in.
I hope tirial is OK and it isn't anything bad causing his withdrawal.

I can put a note in his profile saying "Reborn Day Six" if that helps.
Or the pirates could kill him on Night Five and save me the trouble. ;D

Tirial is surely a she...haha. Just saying because I noticed a lot of people not so sure in the forbidden thread on SD and seen it here some.
ETA: That being said, I seem to remember reading on the SD that Lakai was also female....but I seem to see everyone saying "him" and "he" without (his?) correction, so I guess the person who used the her pronoun was wrong on there. Also, (his?) email has "man" in the wording, so I guess that's further proof it's a him.

She is a terrific player and, sadly, started to lose her cool at the end of the game. And, just a reminder on that note: this is just a game, people! Enjoy yourselves!

Read, mark, learn and inwardly digest, folks. On that note, I was planning to pit several players in that "Mornington Crescent!" game back in the SMDB because of egregious mistakes during that game. You in? ;D

Is there a way to give reincarnation-of-tirial-and-CaerieD(right?)-Hal a slightly different user name (new account?) so searches don't get confusing? Hal2, Hal de Jungere, Prince Hal, whatever?

Reregistering seems to be the best option. Look for Sir Blah (man...haven't used that one in quite awhile) to board shortly.

Oh, NOW it does. But you didn't have it set for the longest time. : p Actually, I've had it set since I signed up. No you haven't. I have no life. I sit online all day. Sometimes I come here and refresh the index just to see the members milling about and who becomes most recently active. Yes, I am THAT sad. ;D But another thing I do (again, a lot) is also look over the member list page and put them in various orders, often for minutes at a time. Like by date regestered, post count, etc. I must have done this about 20 times since everyone regestered here. At least once or twice a day. Weird, I know. But I'm A: very bored very easily and B. Very amused very easily. Bad combo. So trust me when I say I've looked over the list many times and it shows, by the name in the list, the gender sign. You hadn't had one for a long while...as recently as (at least) three days ago. I should know because I always looked over all of the rest of the signs and always took major note of those who didn't have one. You being one of them, I always started wondering what your gender was. But yeah, I dunno what happened but I didn't see a gender sign for you until only when you pointed it out. It wasn't there (or wasn't appearing for me, at least) two days ago. And I wouldn't have any idea why it wasn't appearing when everyone elses' was. *shrugs*

That's interesting because I could have sworn I always had it up. I was surprised by your post because you listed all the evidence of my gender except the gender indicator. I even looked to see if I my gender indicator was up when you made that post. Ah well. *shrugs*
