It is impossible. All you two have to do is switch off blocking eachother. Since the doctor was hit and can't protect himself, you block/watch him tomorrow, and he protects you. This way, if he attacks neither of you, it will eventually get down to where you two are the only ones left and you can vote him out. If he does attack either of you, he either get's blocked, or witnessed or signs of a struggle, and then the crew can lynch him. Then all we have to do is let the confirmed crew pick a target and the rest of the crew agrees to vote there. you are wrong about it being impossible...think it over for a minute. I'm not getting it. As long as you two switch whenever the doctor saves one of the two of you, you can't die unless you watch instead of block, in which case the life of the person you were watching is traded for information. The ONLY way I could see it happen is if the last night we go into with three people alive AND you fail to block, such that it's a 50-50 shot. Okay, so maybe it's not IMPOSSIBLE, but it's darn near highly improbable.

Day One, Autolycus didn't vote. Day Three, tirial didn't vote. Day Five, NAF and tirial didn't vote. Day Six, cowgirl, Gadarene, and Pleonast didn't vote. Based on this pattern, I'd be more suspicious of cowgirl and Gadarene. (And anybody who doesn't vote today.) Finally, something I can be suspicious of Gad/notyetdead for.

Now that's some sneaky work, right there. I read this and thought, geez, really, Gad didn't vote yesterDay? So I checked. It's true; Gad didn't vote. He also didn't post at all in Day 6, which lasted all of one real life day. It seems extremely likely that Gad was simply away from the boards during this brief period. This seems a little OMGUS, but I don't care in this instance: very strong FoS on hockeymonkey, for presenting Gad's/my voting history in such a deliberately misleading fashion.

You may be right about his reason for not voting. It may be the same for cowgirl, who also did not post at all in Day Six. Still the connection is there, and needed to be pointed out. It may mean nothing at all. I certainly didn't intend it to be deliberately misleading. I just found that the connection was odd. I don't mind if you FOS me for it. I think we will pick up a few more crew casualties before we find Flint, and I don't mind being one of them.

I think it's poor form on their part if they didn't vote because they're trying to avoid suspicion, especially since no one can be held accountable in any way for their vote yesterday or today (unless, perhaps they were around and didn't change it). That said, Gadarene DID post to the unvailability thread that he would be unavailable most of this week . As far as cowgirl, I don't know where she's been, but I'm suspicious of her for entirely different reasons.

Sir Blah, now that you can speak freely, did you vote for me as Hal because you thought I was town or scum? I think it's OK for me to ask this, right? Just like this question sort of is as well. Now, I can't speak for Blah, but I imagine he won't say either way, because he wouldn't want to accidently confirm or deny your crewiness. And, besides, since Hal is dead... I imagine Mal would frown on that anyway.

I had 'tis strange dream me hearteys. I was walkin' alon' tha starboard port of the ship, when allofa sudden 'tis shadowy figure be steppin' up behind me. Figurin' 'e was up for a smoke or three, I offered him a light. That's when the scurvy dog pulled out a knife and stabbed me 48 times! Needless ta say he didn't need my match.
Dreams aint scare me like that since I be a wee pup. Got me s'worked up I just be wakin' up now. Ready to help out in Day 5 of our voyage, Yo-ho-ho! Let's start lookin' for those mangy pirate scum, savvy?
(dances a little jig and gets to work swabbing the deck)
Huh, Day 7 you say? Nonsense. I look pale ya say? I been asleep fer days o'course I'm pale, ya bloody idgit. I got more holes than swiss cheese ya say? Ye all twere at me funeral and saw the pirate mark? (pauses and looks at holes in his body)Skuttle me skippers, I be dead!
I'm dead! Sertainly didn't see tat one comin'. Dead. Doesn't that certainly take the ol' cake eh? Guess it ain't so bad tho. Cant die if yer already dead, har harrr harrr. I'll be floatin' around the rum room if anyone needs me, drinkin' away me sorrows.
(while walking to the rum room, a hole appears on the ship deck. Red light comes out, and you hear moaning sounds)
What's that thar red light? And what be with those cowardly sounds. Better go over to investigate. Hmmm...smells like burnin' fish.
(Chains suddenly rush up and bind Autolycus.)
Chain's be comin' up from the ground? What in blue blazes! Get off me, ye stinkin' chains. Stop pullin' me down. Where ye be takin' me? Wait, it cant be. No, Davey Jones aint real! Let me go ye mangy cur! Stop pullin' Aaargh, stop! NoooOOoooo......
(With his last ghostly breath, you hear a whisper in the air: "Go scum!")

After several days when it looked as though the murders would never end, a series of brilliant deductions by Captain Steele turned the tide. Miscreants were rapidly brought to justice and, as Sir Blah was caught on the hook, it was plain that the honest mens' triumph could not long be delayed.
Suddenly however there was the sound of an axe to forward, even as the hapless Sir Blah was still trying to bluster his way out of the noose. There was the rumble of cable as the Hispaniola's bower anchor plunged over the side, to bite seconds later on the bottom in twenty fathoms of water, bringing the ship up all standing.
In the few seconds while confusion reigned aboard ship, a yell of "Bing avast, shipmate!" echoed from over the side. Sir Blah lost no time in responding to the signal to run for it. In three strides he was over the taffrail and cleaving the water towards the gig, laden with a keg of biscuit and another of water. There waited notyetdead, now revealed as Captain Flint, with the one miserly bag of coin he had been able to secure from the ship's hold.
Thanks to the loss of Captain Smollett, there was no one voice of command aboard ship. In the few minutes it took Steele to restore order, and to discover that the capstan had been sabotaged to prevent the anchor's being hoisted, Flint and his last henchman had paddled out of view, pursued by a desultory roundshot or two from the ship's single gun.
The crew counted themselves fortunate to be rid so easily of the bloodthirsty scoundrel, and celebrations were soon under way. All were surprised when the previously unsuspected panamajack stepped forward, tugging his forelock and proclaiming "I'm Ben Gunn, I am" as though he expected at any moment to be tossed over the side.
As for the capstan, that was a task for tomorrow. Tonight there was rum to be drunk, backs to be patted, songs to be sung and treasure to be divided.
The pirates have conceded. Since Flint is out of the picture, Ben Gunn counts as crew-aligned and shares in the win. All will be revealed in due course, but I, your genial host (who incidentally played Pirates of the Caribbean in a band concert only this afternoon) must be off to a feast.
Well played all. Anyone who wants to check out Skeleton Island may go and ask for some freerum.
