Hiya,
Personally I can hardly wait to start up another game - running this one has been a blast, particularly the little moments when someone noticed an inobvious feature of some of the roles.
For instance, AZTeach's claim that FCoD was Squire Trelawney. It was obvious to me that the Doctor-Mason could claim vanilla Mason status and not be contradicted by either of the other Masons, but it was a delight to see how the scum bought that one.
And zuma's claim as Steele that so nearly succeeded, until the one tiny flaw in his story was spotted. Even I thought he was going to get away with it, and who knows but that he might have done if I'd been around to action any speed lynches?
Too bad little subtleties like that won't work twice. ;D
So I'll gladly fire up another one in due course, though out of necessity it'll have to not clash with the latter half of August unless I get a co-host. I have by no means hashed out all the roles in my own mind as yet, but currently I'm hoping to include pirates, ninjas and possibly an undead or two. However, unless there's a wave of support for three games at once (!) I'm happy to step back and let someone else have a go.

Mal, it'd be fun to have a game where the roles are not revealed.
Everyone has one, but nobody knows the exact roles ahead of time. It'd give scum a chance to make up any role they want and people would really need to think about things.
You could send roles out to everyone, and then say "go!" and nobody would know the setup.
I have some ideas about such a setup and it'd be fun to co-mod such a game with you if you're interested in persuing such a thing.

I'd like to be on the list for this one, whenever it starts. The boat was fun.
How about bodysnatchers/brainslugs? They kill at night, but they take over the dead body and leave the old host, so to the crew it looks like the old host died and the new host doesn't look different at all, except perhaps slightly different behavior. . . (would need usernames/passwords that people would be willing to trade around, and Skeleton Island couldn't be accessible until the player's old body was discarded).

Looks like I'm in no hurry, though, not with three other people queuing up to host games!

Well you have your own board, don't you? No need to wait if you don't want...although having a lot of games going on at the same time might become kinda fatiguing. Still, if it's timed right, it should work out well. For example, I was thinking I'd start mine in about two weeks. By then, like zuma said, BM's should have been going for awhile and have some people out of the game and eagerly waiting the next. So I'd then start mine here. Then, after about three weeks or so into mine, why not start one up at your boards? I know I'd love a sequel. Sounds really fun and exciting. So really, if you think about it, only about a month or a month and a week waiting period (that is, again, only if you don't want people to get tired of it...however, speaking for myself, that couldn't happen easily with me). By the time yours is off and running then and a few weeks into that, BMs should be approaching the end stage and would set the stage nicely for Pleonast to be next up there (on the SDMB). Or heck, maybe by that time we'll have our game forum on there!

Oh yes, I'll be using my own board(s). It was a case of being ready for the players and not having to drag them around from one game to another. But a late July start is going to run into my summer holiday about three weeks later, although a co-mod would help as far as that's concerned. So that's a month I've got to think things over and then we can get ready to rumble.

Hey, I'm not sure how exactly, but I'd actually like to get on the list to run a game, either here or at the other board. I'm happy to wait until after BM, Idle, Mal, and Pleonast get through theirs, but I want to try my hand at it at some point.
I'm actually thinking about a game based on the film BLADE RUNNER. Does that sound interesting to anyone?

This is my first time trying to plan a game, and while I have lots of ideas I think developing it in collaboration might be more effective.

A bit busy for the next couple of months, but this doesn't sound too time consuming-- I'll also review Electric Sheep for ideas. I think a conceptual/ loose relationship to the film and such would be much better than an attempt at a character-for-character setup.

Well it seems to me that the list at the SDMB is longer than the one for here. I know that BM is up now..and then Pleonast..and after him I think Fluiddruid was planning one there..and then after her another person (whom I forget). Right now here there's me and then NAF...so after NAF, I'll put you down, storyteller, barring we don't have a game forum by then.
