After the whirlwind of events of the previous Day, everyone sleeps right past the alarm, some to the point of not waking even after being dumped out of their beds. So it is to say the least that several players express mild alarm when they find the following bodies ever so "thoughtfully" arranged in the arena: 1) Pygmy Rugger, bashed in the head with a mahogany mallet with "GUILTY" carved in it, accompanied by a birth certificate, stating that he was Obviously a Native, a name tag with the description "Obviously who he said he was" and a book, Obviously Innocent for Dummies. 2) Mhaye, crushed under a stone bridge, next to which was found a broken irony meter, a BlaM Voodoo Doll, and a good citizenship award from the town mayor. 3) Captain Klutz. Poor, poor Captain Klutz. He's had his back slit open and given a laminectomy. And if that wasn't bad enough, he also has a Voltron figure shoved up his rear end and two square and compass pins shoved into his eyes, one bearing the post-it note "Double Your Pleasure".His three items were as follows: A completely unread book titled Making Speedy Decisions, a signed copy of the Hippocratic oath, and a bag of medical instruments. It is now Day 7. Despite losing so many people, it still takes 5 to start the countdown. The Day will end no later than September 7.

Umm...wow....ouch!
So, Bufftabby any idea how a Voltron action figure wound up in Klutz's posterior?
And anyone else find it odd that we've now had four people die with medical bags and none of them have any townie-related merchandise? It's like we have some sort of medical convention around here. It might help explain why the deaths around here have been few up until now. I'd be surprised that town would be given four doctors, though.
Color me confused.

Actually, no. I still have mine, as far as I'm aware. Nothing indicates to me that this was my voltron figure. Mine isn't a weapon, either.

Oh, and as Promised: the Story of Dotchan: Dotchan joins the ranks of Rugger and other players who fucked up, thanks to her actions on Day 6.
You see how it says "Day 6 PREP"? But NO OTHER Day has that? It's because these foolish mods can't keep their acts straight. So when they are thinking up how to deal with the Day each time around- they basically create a "prep day"- where they write up the night kills, and set the ordering of the Day in terms of Countdowns and all that fun stuff. Well, our dear Dotchan accidentally POSTED the Mod's Day thread into the REAL thread, and then we just started posting and went along WITH it. So basically she fucked up- they hadn't dealt with all the shit they had to do during the night (Like dealing with me and all- i got a message saying don't do anything, and then a hastily written PM about my PR- one that I'd been joking with the mods about. Honestly- just blatantly copying me is that the best you can do?) But yeah, thats why when the day first came up there was no haiku, and no countdown meters or nothing.
Because apparently the Day 6 prep board is when the mods STARTED to think about Day 6, and that's why the chests and all that stuff came LATER on, rather than right away like normal. The mods hadn't finished that stuff yet. Why? Because they're a bunch of slackers with their thumbs up each others butts.
Come on people- I can do this shit behind my back with your eyes closed. This is just saddening- I should totally be a Mod.
Anyways, now you know why foolish Dotchan gets to join the club of people who've posted to the wrong boards. Though she didn't do it as scum- she did it as a FUCKING MODERATOR of her OWN GAME.

Hey Buffy. We need to talk. I've got butt loads of information. And some shiny things too. If you want it for the town or for yourself, you gotta do some things for me. Lemme know if you're interested. Tits for tat. Sorry, Hoopy, I'd make you the offer, but Buffy's pretty badass with her sexy shooting. Though- maybe I can divide it up. Hmm... yeah, why not? Hoopy, you get the information if you do your usual song and dance. Buffy- You do Hal's Song and Dance, and you can have the cooler stuff. Or I suppose whoever wants to do ALL of it can have all the information and fun stuff. I don't really care in that regards- I guess I'm a fair man. But hoopy and buffy get dibs. Cuz I likes 'em.

I'll go ya one better, RoOsh. <Puts on tap shoes, drops needle on turntable> *tappity tap tap* Double your pleasure Double your fun indeed, Ms. Bufftabby. Since you're such a sweet and darling girl, you can have my own little Mod Gift. That's right, those bumbling idiots aren't the ONLY ones out there who can play games. *gives Bufftabby a Pencil*Go get 'em, Kid! Hopefully, you'll know what to do. If not, you can always ask for a cryptic message. That said, if you want the information, I'll reveal it for the Hoopy Shtick to everyone. I happened to know how one of those people up there died. But it comes at a price.... Luckily you can buy the information off me for the price of a song! Hopefully, you remember the one!

Well, gee, sorry Santo for not believing you all the time. For what it's worth, I believe you now! ;D
Okay, now it's time for a role claim, and for very good reasons (I feel and that I'll explain in the following post).
I am The Shopkeeper. I have a name too, and that name is' Mr Magorium. It's ironic that I would get this role because Magical Movie Novel is' one of my favorite books as is' Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium one of my favorite movies so that I should get this role is either coincidental...or the mods knew it was my favorite book/movie (however, I don't ever remembering mentioning it--but I'll leave that to the shadows meta-gaming)
And, with my role/name, comes a fitting power that makes sense if you've ever seen the movie Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium. Namely that I have in my possession and am in charge of many magical toy's (of sorts) that I may give out to one player each Night or choose to keep for myself. Seven of them (of which I gave the last one out last Night). I do not know what these items do; I was told that they had changed shape/form slightly based on my store being upset and that it's a mystery even to me what they could do or what reactions they'll cause.
Here is' a list of the items/toys I started out with:
A Creepy Doll (given to hockeymonkey Night 0) An Apple (given to parzival Night 1) A Clockwork Horse (given to bufftabby Night 2) An Old Coin (given to Roosh Night 3) Vivisecting Children for Dummies (given to bufftabby Night 4) A Thimble of Pearl (kept by myself Night 5) A Faded Ouija Board (given to Hoopy Frood last Night)
Really, before Night Two, I was just shooting in the dark and giving the things out to random people. It was only after Roosh claimed what he did (and the failed attempt at lynching him) did I actually give out the first item hoping to affect something (namely that it would help Roosh out in some way since it seemed he was telling the truth--or, at least, it was enough for me to believe him)
The next Night I gave the book (which I had been hesitating giving out--hence why I gave it out so late in the game--due to its name) to bufftabby because a post she made back on Day Four (which I'm not about to remind people of) made me realize a she was probably Pro-Town and I wanted to go with someone I knew to be Town rather than give out my toys to possible scum.
Then I figured, just once, I'd keep one of my items for myself to see what happened (nothing did, as far as I could tell, although nothing much seemed to happen with the Doll, Apple, Coin, or Book either).
So up until last Night, the only thing that did seem to do anything was the Horse, which swapped lynches at the end of Day. But...last Night..the Ouija Board yeilded very interesting results, which is' why I'm now claiming.
I got a message in the middle of the night (via PM) on a slip of paper, what the board spelled out of its current user:
The PM quote is' changed, however, ever so slightly (by me) with the addition of an apostrophe by the "is". [see below]
So, for the last two or three hours or so, I've been sitting here with a pencil and paper trying to see if it's a scrambled message. And it must be, because it fits:
perfectly.
Therefore, I'm going to
Vote Hoopy Frood[/color],
however as to not have a quick Day like we did yesterDay (and partly my fault too), I would hope other people would wait and read over my post and look at past posts and do your own work before making any countdown-inducing votes. After all, the Day just started and there is' lots of time to talk about it (and any other stuff).
If anyone has any questions regarding my role, just ask, but I've just about said it all in this post.
On preview: The censor is changing my "is"s to "isn't"s, so I have taken the liberty of putting an apostrophe after every "is" to make it show up.

If I did, it was an accident (and I didn't know about it).
But your few notes there sounds like the part about me was somebody's guess (what with the word "possibly" and all).
In any event, I think the evidence I put down in my post is a bit more compelling than a "possible" scum. To me, YOU'RE a possible scum, as is everyone else in this game. Makes me wonder if you even read my post or you were just waiting for me to make any post so you could vote for me. Or do you really have a connection with me in thinking I killed your father?
Nevermind, I can only guess you'll just repeat that line. Good movie. But whoever's guess that was is mistaken.

I don't know how much faith to place in that PM, Pollux. For one thing, who ever heard of an evil Ceiling Cat? LolCatBible.com makes it pretty explicit that Ceiling Cat is a loving deity. Without Ceiling Cat, NO ONE CAN HAZ CHEEZBURGER.

We're crystal clear.
Hmm. Questions.
1. Did you really not know what the clockwork Horse would do?
2. Are you responsible for the is/isnt filter? Because it's driving me apeshit.
3. What was that business about Pollux Oil at the end of yesterDay?
4. You were urging me to shoot Drain Bead yesterDay, weren't you? I did it of my own volition, but you did plant the idea in my head, intentionally or no. I swear, that PR was like trying to read James Joyce drunk.
5. Know anything about our erstwhile aviary amigos?
That's all I've got for now.

As far as my items go, the only things that have seemed to even remotely work are the horse and now the ouija board. Sorry if it seems silly, and it may be a bias because it's my own, but I am putting faith and trust in the board's message.
