So Ro0sh, was the Voltron figurine and the mason pins your work as well? Mhmm... Parzival? The Dude? Would you care to share? --FCOD Not really. But yeah. The coin told me how to refer to it in my first post. *Facepalms* No no no! You're supposed to say "TA-DA!" AFTER the Post where he dies! :Sigh: Mortals, you just can't work with them. So... bufftabby's a daykilling vigilante? --FCOD *Makes mental note to never piss bufftabby off* vote mhaYe unvote mhAYe vote BUFFTABBY Oh sure... let's just give HER all the credit. Sheesh, honestly. Whoop-de-fricking-do! Let's just ignore the Moderator in the Corner except for when we want to lynch him. Whoooo! Speaking of Roosh, what isn't it with you and slushies? And blood? Are you a vampire, Roosh? Well, I just REALLY like Cherry Slushies. In Real Life. At Nights, I drink them in almost every Mafia game I've played in so far from the start back in the days of Asylum Mafia. So uh yeah. I just like Cherry Slushies. Sometimes a cigar is just a penis cigar. And no. Not a Vampire, and not sure where the blood fascination came from.

That's right, did you all read that above? He says I'm NOT dead. Haha, kidding kidding. Good game all! *goes to the side to munch popcorn* My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to... ...... Hmmm, he seems to be already dead. Phew, well that's over with. *throws confetti in the air* Thanks bufftabby! And Roosh, I suppose.

Alright, so now that my father's killer has died, my lips are looser and I can discuss a bit of strategy here. So let's get to work. Idle Thoughts was scum. Now, we can assume one of two things: One, he is' scummy scum scum scum of the scummiest scum caliber. Two, he was telling the truth and he was a traitorous scum. I'm not particularly keen on believing that he's a scum traitor, so let's assume one for now. He was scummy scum. So, what's the motivation for his hijinks toDay? There are two possibilities: A. Idle Thoughts is' scum, Hoopy Frood is' town. B. Idle Thoughts is' scum, Hoopy Frood is' scum. If A, then why would he try a gambit like that at this venture? There were 11 people left at the beginning of the Day. If there were 6 scum (my guess) to begin with, then there were 3 left. A town lynch today drops the number to 10, and then 2 kills tonight max (I'm assuming Roosh's kill was one-shot, but feel free to correct me there) drops the number to 8. We'd lynch Idle the next day, and their number would go down to 2, but 2 more kills max drops the number to 5, which puts the town in lynch or lose. This is' what I figure is' the most plausible explanation. The scum were willing for a 1-to-1 trade-off on Hoopy Frood and Idle to put them ideally close to lynch-or-lose. Of course, they didn't count on a Pencil being available and bufftabby having a keen eye for killing scum. BUT. If B, why? I assume to give either Idle or Hoopy a boost of townie cred for the endgame. But this is' risky, unless they have the numbers for it, which would mean there were probably 4 scum going into the day. But if they had 4 scum, they were theoretically at almost lynch-or-lose so I can't see why they would risk something that big. Hm. Anyway, the point is' B is' probably less likely than A. So with Idle's death, we have 10 left. Probaby anywhere from 1-3 scum left, although my best guess is' there's probably 2 left. Our cast list is' as follows: 1) FCoD 5) Senor Vorpal Kickasso 6) Bufftabby 8) Pollux 10) The Dude 23) The Duck 24) Pleonast 26) Hal 28) Parzival 29) Cometothedarksidewehavecookies Now here's my organization of the cast: Unknown1) FCoD 26) Hal 28) Parzival 29) Cometothedarksidewehavecookies Probably Town5) Senor Vorpal Kickasso - Can't rule Hoopy out, but I'd say there's a good chance this wasn't scum on scum action. 24) Pleonast - The PM I got said Idle was "possible" scum, but the items left over don't really point to an Evil Ceiling Cat. I'm guessing the PM I got was from the same benefactor that told Koldanar pedescribe was lying. The point is, I'm willing to put Pleonast in the probable town column but not completely willing to rule him out just yet. Definitely Town6) Bufftabby - Call me naive, but I just don't think a scum would take out two other scum in broad daylight with a gun and a pencil. 8) Pollux - Duh. 23) The Duck - Considering Koldanar's post where he said that it was obvious that Duke was a mason...well, I'm pretty sure Duke's a mason. Definitely PFK10) The Dude - Like he hasn't been rubbing it in our faces since Day 3. --- So here's where we stand. My vote is' almost assuredly going to go to one of the people in my unknown column toDay. I'm worried about Hal because he's been lurking the hell out of this game aside from his foray with the Doublemint twins. Scummyboots has also been strategically vague for most of the game. Cookies I'd wager as the least likely to be scum out of the 4. I'm gonna go ahead and Unvote Idle Thoughts (In case I need to do that) and Vote Hal Bristonfor now and see what he has to say for himself. Don't forget we need 5 to start a countdown, which is' half the population now. And the Day ends on Sunday and the weekends are infamously slow around here. I have some issues about the Roosh Situation(tm) but I'll get to those in a new post.

Yo- What's the dealio with the The Dude Sitch?Oh, and if it wasn't obvious yet- Doublemint => Me. As for what it does, I'll save THAT tidbit for another Day. I thought you'd never ask! (Really, I expected to have this post done before you asked.) Anyway, here's the Roosh Situation(tm). We know that you're a PFK. We know that you're telling the truth about being a fake mod. This comes from Mhaye's investigation. We also know that to some degree you're invulnerable to lynching. You claim that you're both unlynchable and unnightkillable. You claim that your win condition is to get us to lynch a mod. But here's the truth: You're Roosh, and you like to make shit up. The situation is as follows: you've made it clear you're not pro-town. You're not particularly interested in hunting scum unless it amuses you. So what should we do with you? You could be lying about your unlynchability and you could be lying about your win condition. What if you're just a Survivor that has the ability to survive a lynch/nightkill? C'mon, if you think about it, that's the perfect Roosh set-up. Claim that we have to kill a mod for you to win, know that you'll probably get lynched at some point so you claim complete invulnerability. Then, after a failed lynch, we just leave you alone for the rest of the game because we think that as long as we don't kill a mod, you can't win. But secretly you're getting closer and closer to your win condition the longer you're in the game. You're the big gorilla in the corner of the room. We'd like to ignore you, but we can't. So what do we do about Roosh? Well, we're close to the end of the game now. We don't know how many scum are left, but we've probably got a maximum of 3 mislynches left in the game depending on how the Night deaths go, but a minimum of 1. My personal vote is that we leave Roosh alone for toDay. We can't afford to not lynch scum right now when we don't know what the number of scum left are. If we nail another scum with the lynch, tomorrow we might want to think about trying to lynch Roosh again. I'm interested to see what other people think, though. Also, Roosh, a question for you: How'd you come across the Pencil, and did you know what it was going to do?

Also, Roosh, a question for you: How'd you come across the Pencil, and did you know what it was going to do? :sigh: If you want, you can lynch me again? I don't mind. Or you can try to NK me if you want as well. Though I've pointed out that won't work either.... I don't really mind. Vote Roosh
I kinda feel bad for how much my help has helped out the Town and not the scum. And I'm NOT a fake-Mod. I'm just... not a full mod yet. I resent your implications that I'm a FAKE. I'm just trying to BECOME a Mod. There is a difference. That said. I don't like your aspersions towards me. You guys can't get rid of me unless I WANT to go. And I don't feel like going yet. So nyah-nyah. You and the DoucheMod can kiss my ass- I'm still alive. And you liked the pencil, huh? It was pretty fucking cool, no? I owe you no explanations. I'm not yours for the Day. I'd like to see Dotchan come up with something like that.... Instead, you just get early started Days. That's right. Maybe if you've got a mislynch to spare, Mr. Oil, you can try to lynch a Mod for me. Since ya know... I've been helping you guys all out and shit. Other than that- you nailed it on the fucking head- I'm only helping you guys cuz it amuses me. And because I can.

I'm a little nervous about Rooshdude, too. He's admitted to killing one player, and has provided the means for another one to kill twice. Even if it's been a net benefit to the town, I agree we shouldn't just let him sit and drink his favorite-flavor slushies.
If there's scum lurking in this game, it's going to be Hal, who has said very little. Roosh, why did you choose him for the singing again?
Others might fall in the 'helpful scum' category, but my feeling is it's better to look at the more obvious scum behavior before second guessing anyone else's.

Now here's my organization of the cast: Unknown1) FCoD 26) Hal 28) Parzival 29) Cometothedarksidewehavecookies Probably Town5) Senor Vorpal Kickasso - Can't rule Hoopy out, but I'd say there's a good chance this wasn't scum on scum action. 23) The Duck - Considering Koldanar's post where he said that it was obvious that The Duck was a mason...well, I'm pretty sure Duke's a mason. Definitely PFK10) The Dude - Like he hasn't been rubbing it in our faces since Day 3. Duke's the only one completely confirmed, since a fellow mason confirmed him. I highly doubt bufftabby's scum, but she could be SK, since the SK needs people dead regardless, and the faster people die, the better thing's are for the SK. As far as Pleonast, I don't know. I think he's probably town since he came out with his role right off the bat, but his role's basically "Hi, I'm here and really do nothing." It'd be a nice cover for an anti-town element and he hasn't actually been confirmed by the mods in any way of being the guy swinging the axe when we reach the countdown. However, I do remember when observing him in the SD recruitment game that he was fairly active. His lack of activity in this one does seem consistent with someone playing a character that amounts to little more than one additional body. I would like to hear from him more, though. And yeah, Hal's been the least active of all of us. Day 1: 2 posts: One fluff about his new laptop. One post about karma affecting alignment and power. Day 2: 4 posts: One announcing his marshmallow and singing for Ro0sh. One feeding the marshmallow to the doll and singing for Ro0sh. One asking cookies if he should eat the marshmallow after the doll rejected it. One where he eats the marshmallow, sings for Ro0sh again, and then votes molefan. Day 3: 5 posts: 1. Announces fucked up marshmallow dreams and feeds the birds. 2. Answers Klutz's reposted question about whether Hal needs someone to sing with him by saying he won't discuss it. 3. Plays the Day 3 minigame of renaming NAF. 4. Mentions feeling that Singing in the Rain won't be part of that Day's death post [Huh?]. 5. Won't talk about Roosh's claims about him, but will say he believes Roosh's claim. Sings the Doublemint jingle again. Day 4: 4 posts: 1. Offers to take hot potato and asks for butter. 2. Takes potato and asks if anyone else wants it. 3. Mentions some suspicion of drainbead but believes pedescribe's better choice so he votes him. Tries to get rid of potato again. 4. Gives potato to pedescribe after realizing that he can just give it away rather than waiting for someone to ask for it. Day 5: *crickets chirping* Day 6: *crickets chirping* Day 7: *crickets chirping*

4. Mentions feeling that Singing in the Rain won't be part of that Day's death post [Huh?].
It must be a Clockwork Orange/Horse comment (I was also drooging it up). Sounds like he might have known something about the the Horse and what it would do. Otherwise, why would he mention it in connection with the death post?

When Hal mentions that he believes RoOsh's claim, it sounds like he's got some inside info. Since RoOsh has said that doublemint refers to RoOsh, I'm inclined to think that was Hal's way of letting RoOsh know he had some extra info.

So some analysis of the dead:
Mod Confirmed Scum: 16) molefan, a scum godfather: stationary with hearts and flowers, academy award for best screenplay, and an instructional booklet titled "How To Destroy a Town in Five Days". 27) Pedescribe, a scum mad bomber - lynched Day 4 (the Anarchists Cookbook, an instruction booklet titled "How To Destroy A Town In 5 Days", and a homemade action figure of the Tick villian "TheEvilMidnightBomberThatBombsatMidnight")
Mod Confirmed Town: 9) Diggit, a town psychic - lynched day 5 (a copy of Les Propheties, a gazing crystal on a silver chain, and a Good Citizenship award from the town police department, citing "Assistance With Official Investigations".) 3) Koldanar, a mason - lynched day 6 (a square and compass pin, a civil defense badge, and a book of secret codes and handshakes) 19) Santo Rugger as the Obviously Innocent Townie -killed Night 6 (a birth certificate, stating that he was Obviously a Native, a name tag with the description "Obviously who he said he was" and a book, Obviously Innocent for Dummies.)
Now, the scum all had "How To Destroy a Town in Five Days" so we also have
All But Confirmed Scum: 21) Drain Bead - shot day 6 (a chatty cathy doll, a megaphone, and an instructional booklet entitled "how to destroy town in just 5 days") 12) Idle Thoughts - killed Day 7 (a sign reading "Caveat emptor", an array of malevolent looking broken toys, and an instructional booklet entitled "how to destroy town in just 5 days")
And the town (including the masons, who also had the square and compass pin) all had something indicating they were a member of the town, so we also have
All But Confirmed Town: 18) CIaS: Square and compass pin. King James Bible. Good Citizen award from town. 15) Kat - Killed Night 4 (a GPS device, a number of transmitters, and a key to the city trinket) 25) Rajaat - Killed Night 5 (Cardboard badge, Rescue Me set, "Town Name" Workout card.) 11) MHaye - Killed Night 6 (a broken irony meter, a BlaM Voodoo Doll, and a good citizenship award from the town mayor.)
The rest of the deceased are a bit harder to figure out:
The "Well a boy scout uniform might indicate town, but everything else involving townie possessions directly referenced a connection to town in some way, but on the other hand he seems to be the only vig-type character we've had, and vigs are town aligned, so he's probably town" guy: 14) BlaM - Killed Night 3 (masked avenger comic books, Anger Management for Dummies, and his old boy scout's uniform)
The "Doctors are typically town but giving town four of them is a lot and none of the Docs seem to have any townie merchandise on them so there's a bit of a "huh?" element there but they're still more apt to be town that not" Medical Convention: 22) Peakercpa : Signed copy of the Hippocratic Oath. Black bag of medical instruments. Hardcover PDR. 2) hockey monkey - Killed Night 3 (Superfriends T-shirt, ring, medical bag) 17) hockeyguy - Killed Night 3 (Superfriends T-shirt, ring, medical bag) 20) Can'p Klutz - killed Night 6 (A completely unread book titled Making Speedy Decisions, a signed copy of the Hippocratic oath, and a bag of medical instruments.)
The "Hey, I was just trying to find the Serial Killer" guy. Probably a PFK: 7) Nanook - Killed Night 2 (reverse phone directory, Machiavelli's The Prince, and a pair of handcuffs)
The "Hey, I am investigator. Oooh, look shiny! Uhh what was I talking about? Oh yeah, investigator, though town already has three investigative types so if I am on their side we seem to have a similar situation to the medical convention going on here. I really don't seem to fit in anywhere when you think about it. Now where'd I put my notebook again?" guy. I have no clue where he fits in: 13) Darth Sensitive: a cops badge, a magnifying glass, and a box of Memoprove.
The "Hey I'm a dang-nasty evil demon but unlikely to be scum and I committed suicide on Day 2 so here's a whole plate of WIFOM for you in both my death and the Day 3 news crawler" guy: 4) Diosquid: torture implements, a copy of "devil worship for dummies", and a copy of sun tzu's "art of war".

Since The Dude has said that doublemint refers to RoOsh, I'm inclined to think that was Hal's way of letting The Dude know he had some extra info. It was basically just that RoOsh was correct -- I was given a task regarding the jingle, and RoOsh knew all the details. Therefore, I believed his claim. No extra info involved. Besides, I couldn't have extra info. I'm Vanilla Town. That's all. Vanilla Town. No matter what could be inferred from a careful reading of Klutz's death notice about things regarding jingles, I'm Vanilla Town. As for lack of participation, it's because I should have never, in any way, signed on to this game. Being exceedingly busy leads to skimming, and in this setup, skimming is not a viable option. Sometimes you can get by, but not here, not by a longshot. Not looking to excuse the behavior, that's just the way it i-s. If subbing out were an option, I'd have done it long ago. Since it's not, I figured I'd try and skate until we got deep into the game, and then maybe I'd be better set to participate more.

So, Hal, do you have any powers or anything else of note in your role?

I'm ready to
vote Hal Briston
First, he's been lurking like hell. Sure, he's says he's been busy. Quite possibly true. But ~19 posts in one game, with some superfluff thrown in for good measure, makes me very suspicious. In most games, he would've been mod-killed already.
Second, he claims to be a vanilla townie. I'm so not buying it. All the deaths so far, and the only vanilla townie has been Santo the Obviously Innocent Townie. Near as we can tell, and by Santo's admission, he had no powers or anything like that. You're telling me that we've got a someone who's role is even named "dotchan", who's only "power" was of complete vanilla-osity (albeit mod-confirmed), but then we've got just a regular old vanilla townie floating around out there too?
I am sooooo not buying it. Of course, if you want to look at motivation, a townie could be motivated to lurk and conceal his true role, were he to have an important enough role. Even with townie motivation, a lie is' still a lie, however. I think his claim/non-claim is' necessarily a lie, and I'm comfortable lynching most liars.
