So, Hal, do you have any powers or anything else of note in your role? Nope...nothing at all. Because I'm Vanilla Town. Second, he claims to be a vanilla townie. I'm so not buying it. <shrug>...I wouldn't either. But it remains that I am Vanilla Town.

unvote Hal Briston
vote Pollux Oil
Here's why: after I killed Drain Bead, the Day was about to end, and I was out of people that I was certain were scum, I pretty randomly picked Parzival to vote for.
Bufftabby, Day Six:
In response, pollux oil goes off on his (admittedly crackpot) theory about Parzival. Let's watch:
Pollux Oil, Day Six:
(bolding by buff)
A no-lynch? On DAY SIX? Srsly? So Pollux advocates no-lynch/vote RoOsh based on the theory that pedescribe's bomb is' sure to go off. Definitely crackpot. But what else? I got a scummy vibe from that post, but not enough to really make a case out of it.
What really reminded me of that post was Pollux's trust list on Day Seven. See here:
(Buffly bolded)
Pollux has something to say about every single player left alive except Parzival. YesterDay, Parzival was pinging him, but toDay he is' not even on the list. Seems odd to me.
It also seemed to me like he was trying to push a townie vote that he wouldn't actually have to be connected to, as he didn't vote for P. That would also leave him the opportunity to say "I told you so" and gain townie cred if Parz turned out PFK.
That said, I would like to hear from Parzival why he pulled his vote off of Drain Bead once some jackass accidentally started the countdown early. Why believe she's scum before the countdown starts and then change your mind?

I didn't even notice Pollux Oil's odd accusation against me. Like I said, I didn't read much of the day - that's related to when and why I unvoted drainbead.
First, as to my original vote for her - it was a pretty casual thing, and the first vote on her. I even described it as being "until she shows up". She'd been silent for a day, and I wanted to prod her but would be okay to lynch her if she kept lurking. I mentioned this in my unvoting post.
The other reason was that at the time I unvoted, I had to pull out of the Day for personal reasons (specifically, my mom was sick and we'd just spent half a day in the hospital, mostly waiting). That's when I gave away the key as well. As things stood, it seemed to be all but over; I just didn't feel I should be involved when I knew I wasn't going to be around for the end. This is a minor point, though - it was mainly that my vote was only for her as a lurker.
I did notice that I wasn't on Pollux Oil's list today, except by implication since I'm "one of the four unknowns" that he would vote for. It is odd that he thought I was scum one day and didn't mention it again.
The Masons appear to be taken care of, which means Hal & Duckie are safe from the lynch. Pollux is looking the fishiest for his flip-flop on me.

That would also leave him the opportunity to say "I told you so" and gain townie cred if Parz turned out PFK. Bzzt. Wrong. I seriously thought there was going to be a bomb that went off. Why was pedescribe a bomb and yet nothing happened? And why was there suddenly mention of blood pooling on the lynch stand after his lynch and the lynch after? I thought it was going to lead up to something on that Day's lynch. The Gastard mods fooled me, I admit, but hey that's cool. Why didn't I mention Parzival in my run-down? Well, you're right he did ping me yesterDay, but that was solely based on my crackpot theory. When a bomb didn't go off, my theory had no water and thus my case on Parzival went down the toilet. Now granted, I guess now that I think about it him removing his vote on drainbead randomly is a bit suspicious since she was scum, but again most of my pinging was based on my fear of the bomb. I was looking through the goggles that the scum knew what was going on with pedescribe's bomb ability. And for the record, I wasn't advocating a no-lynch yesterDay, unless you're positive Roosh can't be lynched again. It was possible, yes, that Roosh would survive but we'd already killed a scum with your pistol so it wouldn't be a net loss for the Day. Plus, it would be better than accidentally lynching a townie since we had so little discussion that Day. Furthermore, you seem to be completely forgetting the fact that A) I was a major attacker of drainbead in the first place, and B) if I were scum, why would I have given out information that contradicted Idle Thoughts' role claim? Oh, while I'm remembering. Unvote Hal BristonI'm unsure of whether to vote for FCOD or Parzival at this point. Idle Thoughts pursued Mr. Scummyboots pretty hardcore the first Day or two. And a bit of meta-gaming, but I wouldn't put it past the Gastards to make an obvious Town WIFOM (Santo) and an obvious Scum WIFOM (FCOD). Vote Pollux OilI still wanna know what you are, Mr. Ex-Mod. Oh do you now? Well how about you do a little tap-dance for me and sing me that song you're so fond of, and maybe I'll tell you.

Pollux, your explanation of the 'bomb plot' failing makes some sense, but it'd be better if you'd explained it earlier. I would like to hear from Mr. Scummyboots, esq. Right now I find him suspicious for lurking a bit in this game. I think my vote's going either him or Pollux right now, but there's not a lot I have to base it on.

Looking back at Molefan's Day 1 post, I found this:
Not that he was on my suspicious list, but this practically clears Pleonast in my mind.
On Pollux/atarus, he doesn't say much, praising him for doing townie-like things. Kind of a neutral read.
As for FCoD he thinks it's "too insane to be scummy". This could be an out for later selling him out, but again it might have gone the other way.
I'd like to put my vote down, but I still can't find a reason. I'm going to look at how the previous discussion on drainbead went down.

Days 4-6 had drainbead up (though once against another scum - pedescribe). Known scum Idle continued to vote drainbead on Day 5 and 6. Other voting records don't provide much from my quick reading.
My two highest suspects are Mr. Scummyboots, esq. and Pollux. They both voted diggit on Day 5. Day 6 Pollux blew a fuse when the countdown started but I sort of felt the same way. I can't see much in the voting record to help.
My leaning is toward Mr. Scummyboots, esq. for being a bit more of a lurker.
Can't win if we don't lynch.
vote Mr. Scummyboots, esq.

Current vote count
Pollux: ro0sh, bufftabby Mr. Scummyboots, esq: parzival
Those without votes: Mr. Scummyboots, esq., pollux, duck/lion, pleo, hal, cookies, me
I don't know who I'm going to vote for at this point, but I've got a picnic to go to this afternoon. I should be able to get back by evening and place a vote then.

Come to think of it, Idle did claim to be a scum traitor. So his vote record may not fit with what other scum would do. Maybe.
Where are the other voters? It would be nice to get a countdown soon, or at least more than two votes to secure a lynch.

Well, I was going to use the search function to go back and do research on FCOD, Parzival, and Cookies but apparently the search function has gone ape-shit batty for me and I can't read shit. So I'll just have to go with my gut on this one. Vote Mr. Scummyboots, Esq.I know I defended him on Day One by trying to get people to refer to him as his proper name, but I expected him to step up since then and do something. As far as my memory can entail, he hasn't done much in terms of analysis. He's been lurking but not noticeably so. Kind of floating by. My guess is that one of Parzival and FCOD is scum, but not both. My other guess is that one of Cookies or Hoopy Frood is scum, possibly both. I know I ain't scum. What I am is unNightkillable. Didn't want to reveal it if I didn't have to, but considering the low number of deaths I'm assuming somebody tried to kill me at some point over the course of the game. No, I don't get anything like a name or any indication that I'm attacked. But I figured I would try and play as pro-town as possible to get the attention of anybody with a Nightkill to try and minimize town casualties. There was a little bit of wonky Gastardness to it, if I was protected by a Doctor I lost my immunity for the Night. I didn't think much of it when I initially got the role, but considering there's been 4 docs I suppose I was in more danger than I thought. Thanks you Gastards. That's why I've never played with marbles, or used W after a psychotic demon threatens people, or opened treasure chests or any shit like that during the Day. I didn't want to accidentally blow myself up when I'm vulnerable. I wish Roosh would have used his Nightkill on me last Night because it would have saved us a doc. It also might have corroborated my story, but I doubt Roosh would have admitted to attempting to kill me if he hadn't succeeded. Or if Klutz had protected me it might have killed me. Hm. Still wish he had targeted me instead. Anyway. That's that. Fuck the is filter.
