Fuck it, I give up. No more naughty stories for you guys! Nuh-uh. Unacceptable. Gotta make with the dirty, baby. Besides, I know you couldn't resist, even if ya tried. We're very similar, you and I.

Fuck it, I give up. No more naughty stories for you guys! Speaking of, nobody better try to draw any conclusions as to why bufftabby and I are both a mess this Morning. Gentlemen never tell...which is why I assume you'll be giving the play-by-play shortly.

You know it! Notice she didn't deny it, and in fact deleted it from her quote with nary a <snip> or a "..."? Exactly. Even slipped a compliment in there for good measure. But, anyway, back to scum hunting.

NETA: apparently I should be addressing peeker, not Santo, on that. Many apologies, all around. It can be difficult to see who said what on this board on my BB. I know you can back me up on that, peek. Well I know I haven't voted for AH and I am not sure I have even expressed any real suspicion. I was just curious about the "now" part of the post. I assumed that there would be an Apocalypse type role in the game because of the color and theme. Seems to be the perfect Godfather, but since story is not so keen (understatement) on the whole recruiting thing it wouldn't be the traditional Godfather with any type of recruiting power. And upon re-read I see how it can be interpreted as now, we know .... as in we just found out. But it could also be interpreted as now, we know .... as in we have known all along. And with the comma it actually reads more like the latter. And, yes the BB thing is a bear. On mine it doesn't give you a preview option. If I preview it just posts anyways.

Yeah, if preview was my friend, it would work. I realize now that you didn't vote for AH, peeker. I'm not sure if you should feel complimented or slighted that I got you and Rugger mixed up. Prolly a little of both.
Now that sinjin is dead, what information did we get from that? I don't know if people failed to understand what I was going for yesterDay, with my vote shift idea, or just didn't agree. Again, probably some of both. But this is what I was trying to talk about: our lack of information, post-PFK death. Yeah, we learned that she was PFK. What else?

Not much else to learn when we're handed PFK on a platter, you're right. There's still the molefan debacle, though, I'm sure there's still info that could be gleaned from that. I hope Nanook comes around soon, though, as I'm -quite- suspicious of him. If he can't deliver, I don't see any reason we -shouldn't- be voting for him.

Ok, seeing as we're short on info, let me divulge what I've learned from the last two nights actions:
- Apocalypse is in the game - The Toad is in the game - Peekerpfa did perform a night action on night 1 - Nanook did not perform a night action on night 2 - During night 1, peeker was visited by Toad - During night 2, Nanook was visited by Apocalypse
My previous weird post was a feeble attempt at leaving a breadcrumb should I die during the next night. The last line was not a mistake or a copy/paste from word.

And upon re-read of all of Pleo's posts, I don't see any indications of breadcrumbing. I know some other folks checked it out too, but the more, the better, eh?
The thing about Santo's supposed credibility gain is that the possible motivations for bringing sinjin down are equal for scum, PFK, or Town.
Let's say Santo's scum. He would know that sinjin's not, and so would want to bring her down.
Let's say he's PFK. His win condition would likely involve killing off as many people as possible. He's likely not PFK, though, as a re-director. But it's possible.
Let's say he's Town. The motivation there is pretty clear. Lynch all liars.
I'm just not seeing an actual credibility gain for ol' Santo here.

I have a reason, and that's that I'm town aligned. I'm not sure what I can tell you beyond that. I have no control over what Molefan chooses to do.
Ya know what though, I know perfectly well that's not going to cut it with you guys. I might as well save time and arguing and put some more cards on the table.
I am Threnody. That message from Molefan? Yeah, that's the whole thing. The people I raise get one shot at sending me a message. Said message can be no more than 5 words long, and player's names count as one word no matter how long they actually are. My understanding is I was put in the game to act as a pseudo-back up investigator. Sadly, the real investigator died without me voting for him, so it's kinda useless.
Remember when I said to NAF that he had no idea how crappy my role was originally and that it got changed? The original wording stated I could only raise someone if I voted for them the Day before they died. In other words, the only people I could feasibly raise would be that Day's lynchee. On first blush, sounds useful, sort of. Except any townie about to be lynched would most likely spill his or her guts before the lynch, so what the hell is the message supposed to accomplish in that case? Scum messages are obviously completely worthless, so that's right out. I asked story about it and he discussed it with Kat, and then changed it so that an end of day vote at any point in the game would let me activate my power.
Honestly, I would much rather have gotten Story's necro role from Apocolypse. That was far more useful. This one is neat, with some quirks to it kinda like John Connor over in Terminator, but the voting restriction makes it a lot less useful. I would love to be raising Pleo tonight so that we could find out for certain one way or another who he investigated, but such is not to be.

Oh bah. Let's try that again with proper coding. - Nanook did not perform a night action on night 2This is true. As previously stated, I didn't vote for Sinjin, and therefore was unable to raise her. Since I couldn't raise anyone, I did nothing. Bwuh? I received nothing indicating any sort of Night visit by anyone or anything. Is that all you learned? It sounds like you are a Watcher or Tracker of some sort. Why the hell is Apocolypse visiting me? I have this feeling I should be worried.
How would I have known sinjin wasn't town, if I were scum? The risks would be too great. How would I know sinjin wasn't town, if I were PFK? She admitted her powers were changed, and it's impossible for us to have been working together. Occam's Razor says your third option is the most likely, and she did lie. So there ya go.
For all intents and purposes, it's been basically confirmed that I'm a redirector. While a scum or PFK role director isn't out of the ream of possibilities, it's highly unlikely that it would be announced in public. Remember in the BladeRunner game, the blue pee was only announced if a player announced it; it wasn't confirmed by the mod. The speculators died in that game, and I doubt story would have removed a player from the "team" (there were two) and weakened their ability to come up with a fake role claim, if they were a PFK team.

Why the hell is Apocolypse visiting me? I have this feeling I should be worried. Above is absolutely all I have learned. I don't know if my powers fit any role type. I suppose it is an investigative role of sorts, but the information I learn isn't really that useful as I can't tie them to any specific person. I was originally planning to claim only when I had valuable information, but seeing as it seems an unlikely event, I will just provide whatever I can scramble. At one point, I pondered if a mass claim would help, but then scum could just kill me during the night, and any information I could've provided would be secret. However, if it was possible to raise me, perhaps my five words would be useful. But again, given the weakness of my role, I doubt it is worth the gamble. There might be a situation I have not considered where it could be useful. Risking a scum kill is worth it to me, if we can actually gain any info. Let me just ponder the possibilities of combining my powers with nanook (if we trust him - and if you trust me). Oh, and I have the standard townie win-condition.

That's a soft claim there, chucara. Can you be more specific, please? I suppose I have already given most everything else, so my powers are the following: I can investigate a target player at night. I will see if that target has performed an active night action, a passive night action, or has done nothing. I will also learn the role name of anyone targetting that player. Should my target die, I will not be able to use my ability the next night.

Well without making this overly busy with all those quotes within quotes thingies (buffers us BBer's need to take each other into consideration).
Chucara I am going to echo what Nanook said. I didn't receive anything that would indicate that I was visited by someone.

There was a third power listed, which I snipped. It was not a power per se, so much as a weakness. I would rather not give away an easy way to kill me to the scum.

Well that just means that Apocalypse's role wasn't blocked. And that he isn't a killer. It also proves (to me atleast) that nanook isn't scum, unless Apocalypse (which I assume is scum) has a protective power.

You wouldn't have to know if she were Town. Scum, or pfk. Nobody would know that you were the re-director if you hadn't said so, so I don't consider that particularly public. Sorry, man, I'm just not able view you with any additional credibility here.

I like the role in theory. I think though that the voting restriction really nerfs any potential power it had. If I could have simply raised anyone, it would have been a fun ability. Sadly, my odds of voting for someone with useful information, and then them being NK'd are pretty low, especially since the very act of voting required to trigger the power brings massive suspicion. I could have not claimed and one-off voted with BS reasons attached, but I wouldn't have been able to keep it up for very long. That kind of voting attracts attention, so better to be up front about it and save time and headaches.

Nanook.
When I read your claim originally, one big worry came to mind. If you could convey any number of messages from the dead player you zombified, he (or, as it may be, she) would have to be excluded from the spoiler board as long as they were able to send you messages. That seems a little unfair on them; they can have little or no effect on then game, but can't kick back and watch us blunder around in the dark.
I don't think I have to spell out why it would be unfair to let them into the spoiler forum and then send messages.
In short, your claim has gained credibility (in my eyes) because of the one-message limit.

Do you contact your zombies for their message or do they willy nilly contact you when they feel like it?
If you have answered this previously then apologies are extended.

Hmm. Nanook's claim is somewhat supported (or at least not contradicted) by the fact that molefan did not sub back in. Now, I don't know if he even wanted to, or what the sub line-up was like, but if Nanook's claim is truthful, molefan obviously would not be able to sub back in. Just a thought, not proof of anything.
I feel inclined to believe the powers that Nanook enumerates are true, but my biggest concern is that this role is PFK. I don't see much evidence one way or another, so we'll see.

Can one of you folks that are more familiar with this universe answer me a question? I got from reading Wiki about my character that Apacolypse is the queen baddie. Is toad a good guy or bad guy? Sounds bad to me. And if you so quit being so lazy and look it up yourself ok. Just that it's easier this way.
