Honestly, not a lot is jumping out at me except the suddenness of the DiggitCamara lynch mob. That is bothering me. Therefore, I'm going to vote for the person I think has the worst logic: vote misterblockeySo you start off by voting for a non-counterclaimed mason. Then you take a shot at me using a blantantly false accusation. I've said that I would absolutely do anything that would confirm me. Really making me think that Molefan was right about you.

A lot of us thought our "investigator" was lying. You make it sound like you knew he wasn't. Any reason why? At no point did I even imply that! What I said was: What did you imply in the post I quoted, in part, above? How can you chastise those that didn't believe him? In other words, what made you sure enough that he was telling the truth that you're able to look down your nose at those who weren't?

But you didn't even verify that. Yes, you raised a zombie, but we have absolutely no reason to believe it was because of who you voted for that Day. Ok so let's look at that thought shall we? I'm lying about my power. This would relegate me to either scum or PFK. Why would I make up such a bizarre restriction? It sure as shit isn't so I could appear more townie, as your, Hawkeye and zeriel's hardon for attacking me demonstrates. Further, since in this case I'm lying about my power, it obviously does something completely different from what I've stated. Why the hell haven't I raised anyone since then? And no, to play townie still doesn't work since ya know, it isn't freakin working. If I'm lying, I would almost have to be PFK, in which case not raising zombies would be actively damaging my own win condition. And for what purpose? So I can spend Days and Days defending myself against attacks? Yeah ok. I would be far better off just KEEPING MY MOUTH SHUT and making you all wonder about the zombies. Or maybe I'm just telling the truth and the role has a semi-crappy restriction on it. Which one makes more sense?

The mason claim hasn't got much discussion because there's not much to discuss--with no counter-claims, you guys are confirmed unless the real mason(s) are playing some kinda bizarre waiting game. Seriously dude, wtf. You say this, and then vote for the mason anyway? I'm gonna have to switch my vote for this: Unvote NAF. Vote zeriel--FCOD

1. It appears I should have nameclaimed first in the order Hoopy drew up. What can I say? That's when the rl problems moved from back burner to requiring serious attention.
I'll decide whether to claim or not Overnight.
I'm not feeling the case against Diggit, and I have no real suspicion against anyone else. The biggest single pointer I now have (having reviewed my notes) is the Almost Human win-condition imbroglio. However, the fact that I believe the type of person most likely to make that mistake is a player who subbed in for a scum doesn't mean enough for me to vote for her right now. (One pointer is rarely enough, not after Day 1).
I also need more time to nail down an itch surrounding Nanook's claims. Without that, I don't want to rush out and vote for him. Even if he did vote for me two Days back.
I'm marginally more suspicious of Nanook than AH right at this point, but that's because I can't tie down the thing worrying at me - that and I'm supposed to be going out in an hour or so.
Stuff it.
.
Even if it is based on a half-remembered problem relating to the evolution of his claim which leaves me with the impression he lied.

Eleven posts between the time I finished reading and my last post?
My gut reaction to Zeriel's post is "Why is he voting for a Mason?"
At least the coding foulup in 4.274 means I don't have a vote to rescind.
Vote Zeriel.

WAITWAITWAITWAIT - think about this, you guys, what on earth could a scummy/PFK Zeriel hope to accomplish by voting for a outed mason on purpose?
He made a mistake, or he's a bomb. Either way, I don't think ya'll should be lynching him...

I think his mistake was wanting to throw a one off vote that he could claim was a mistake. I don't like the diggit lynch, and if he's a bomb, what are we supposed to do; let him live to endgame?

Only Hoopy made anything resembling a real case. You're right. Unfortunately, the key word here is "resembling", which you're also right about. It's a weak case. I felt I had a stronger one against Boozy and ended up driving his lynch. (I'll whole-heartedly admit I fucked that one up but good.) But a new case has presented itself. Zeriel has voted a claimed mason. WTF? Especially after misunderstanding why I expected the claim would generate more discussion and my clarifying my meaning (i.e. the info dump part was what I figured someone might have some comments on). How do you go from (paraphrasing) "you guys are uncountered masons" to "vote mason"? I mean, you can't even write that off as someone misreading a role PM or a newbie mistake or anything. That's a pure slip from someone who likely doesn't care who confirmed town are so they're not really keeping track. vote Zeriel

I'm not feeling the diggit lynch one iota. But Z has been pinging me for a bit (gut, no case, so haven't brought it up). But I think that blockey vote counts as a case. Fo' SHO'.

Doesn't make sense. There's lotsa targets out there for a one-off that aren't confirmed masons. And I don't really think he's a bomb, but if so, mebbe whoever tagged CIAS could help?

Yeah, but even storyteller has been known to make an extremely damning slip as scum. (Cecilvania, anyone?) Though, he nicely spun it to his advantage. (That was an intriguing game to follow as a spoiled observor, BTW).
