The dawn breaks and everybody gathers around a fallen body in the center of the .... wherever the hell you are.
It's NAF!! He's covered in blood and wounds. Everyone leans in close to pick him up and throw him out of the general public area when he pops up screaming.
NAF is heavily wounded but still very much alive. A few minutes later his wounds are markedly smaller, and it appears he'll be perfectly healthy within the hour.
It is now day 2.
Day 2 ends in exactly one week or 12 hours after a 3 vote threshold is reached.

"But some stupid with a flare gun Burned the place to the ground." But...but...they had Frank Zappa and the Mothers! And it was the best place around! (I hear it died with an awful sound.) But y'know, no matter what they got out of it, they'll never forget.

Where'd that body come from?
Oh man, who did that to you NAF? Was it the cultists?

Here goes: We might need to lynch me toDay. That's why I asked everyone yesterDay if they wanted to die toDay. My PM doesn't have the word "town" and I'm not aligned with anyone but me. I think it would be too big a risk if I make it to day 3

I don't remember seeing you ask that, TL. No, I don't want to die Today.
So you're claiming not to be a Townsperson. You know what that means. The Townies will kill you. That's tantamount to suicide.
Your claiming not to be a Townsperson makes me think that you want to die Today. So, I guess I won't be voting you. I'm certainly not voting for me. That leaves Aubby, Bufftabby and NAF.
The Buff/TL curse has been broken, and Aubby the new girl didn't get lynched on the first Day of her first game. That means I could vote for any of them. Right now Buff gets a fluff point (I can't believe the rest of you didn't recognise Smoke on the Water!) That won't save her if I get a really good reason to vote for her though.
I'll think about it. A week is a long time.

A PFK volunteering suicide? Oh yes my dear TL, let me hop on that train. Um, no, I don't think so.
And srsly, who can let some Deep Purple fluff pass by without comment? Not me!

Not me, especially when it's what I was listening top at the time of posting I reckon you'd have more trouble with though. (Yes, I'm old. So what? And is it sad that the only change I had to make from memory was that I originally typed "the silence" instead of "a silence"?)

This is my PM and I just don't know what to think of it:
I don't get it - it seems like I can live after Day 3... but if someone else dies (and I don't know who) I'll end the game (or maybe I'll win with town - if we got town (I don't know that either!)).
YesterDay I say in a post something like: "This game is giving me a splitting headache" to breadcrumb.

You're right, MHaye, I definitely did not get that one. I tend to like prog rock, but I'm not really a Yes fan.
But I do have this one: So! Come on ye childhood heroes! Won't you rise up from the pages of your comic-books your super crooks and show us all the way?

So do you listen to Dream Theater? Or do your tastes not go that heavy. I've never really gotten into Dream Theater. I'm not sure why, but it's definitely not that they're too heavy. I like At the Drive In, the Mars Volta, Clutch, and Tool quite a bit. Much of my favorite music does come from the 70s/80s, but Yes has always sounded kind of dated to me, unlike Tull, Floyd, Traffic, Rush, etc.

YesterDay I say in a post something like: "This game is giving me a splitting headache" to breadcrumb. Ah, but now we have a bit of backtracking don't we? You said above that you thought it would be "too much of a risk" if you could make it to day 3. But, if that PM is right there is no risk in getting to Day 3, just getting killed in Day 3 - and then you win, which isn't much of a risk for you, it would be what you want. No, your first post was attempting to get us to lynch you Today. Your second is trying to persuade us that it's safe to lynch you Today. I think, TL, that you're just going to have to get that headache. When it strikes I'll be sure to offer you a painkiller. You're right, MHaye, I definitely did not get that one. I tend to like prog rock, but I'm not really a Yes fan. But I do have this one: ]So! Come on ye childhood heroes! NOT A YES FAN???Great Zot woman, what are you thinking of? Now I don't like Jethro Tull much. I'd never actually heard Thick as a Brick until just now. That's the best bit about Last.fm; you can listen to recommendations from friends. Give it a try, if you don't recognise :

That's always been my favorite Tull song as well, Hoopy. Aqualung was the first vinyl album I ever owned.
MHaye, I think I feel the same way about you not liking Jethro Tull as you do about not liking Yes. We have to become nemeses. :arches eyebrow villainously:

If we're arch-nemeses, obviously I'm the good one. But maybe this is one of these scenarios where arch-nemeses have to team up to save the world?

Lost, either your win condition is to die toDay or you are invoking reverse pyschology to be spared.
It makes sense to see death on Day 3. After all, someone has to die right? Like someone will die toDay. Or die and come back to life like NAF.
Me, I'm just looking out for the door and seeing what information we can find.

and how does it help the Town win to look? Snipped I don't think we have any Town - I think we are all PFKs and that's why we don't learn anything when someone dies. So it will not help Town if I'm killed toDay - if there is no town I should just keep on even if I can foresee death...

I don't think we have any Town - I think we are all PFKs and that's why we don't learn anything when someone dies. Impossible. On that note, more guess-the-lyrics: And you go watch the geek Who immediately walks up to you When he hears you speak And says, "How does it feel To be such a freak? "And you say, "Impossible!" As he hands you a bone Because something is happening here But you don't know what it is.Anyone who knows that one without googling it will become my new hero.

Unvote MHaye
