The group, still frightened but braver, were discussing whether to take the bird in the hand, Nanook, who had claimed the ability to take Natlaw with him, or to get the proverbial bush, peeker. The town hemmed and hawed, and the atmosphere was tense. Finally, Nanook shouted, "Fuck this! I'm not going to sit here and wait for my death!" Hoopy tried to grab him, but with the speed of a demon, he grabbed a gun and...was wrestled to the ground by Hoopy Frood and Parzival. They wrested the gun from his grasp and shot him. Shot him dead. As per the usual investigation of the rooms, they found it split in half. On one half of the room was an elegantly prepared bed, with an extravagent wardrobe filled with dresses, and a full set of magical ingredients. The other had a matress. And one set of clothing.
Nanook, also known as Sheik (SCUM Ninja/Lover) is dead.
Natlaw, a.k.a Zelda (Town White Mage/Govener/Lover) is also dead.
Night ends 8:00 PM EST Sunday.

So... can someone now explain to me how it was any different voting for Nanook then for Natlaw? Other than it potentially gives KidV a killing power?
I admit, I was wrong. I was looking for some fun and creative strategy on the part of scum. Apparently, nothing of the sort occured here. So... Now I guess we go back to looking at voting patterns and hope something pops out?
Interesting bit of WIFOM Nanook left us with huh?

Farewell, Natlaw
I don't see how we could have known for certain that Natlaw was really town. That plan also involved trusting that KidV is who he claims to be.
IIRC KidV wouldn't get the scum killing power, just the power of the particular player. From what's happened it seems far more likely that Sheik's power was to hide than to kill.

Now I guess we go back to looking at voting patterns and hope something pops out? The lack of creative voting is a good sign IMO. It suggests that the scum maybe haven't got the numbers to pull off last-minute voting stunts. The other possibility is that they were too timid to try because they were worried it wouldn't work out - maybe because our biggest vote-getters were scum, or maybe they just couldn't get online? Whichever way you cut it, it's good for the townies. Sorry to see ya go Natlaw. FTR, early on I think you had some of the best ideas in this game; and, as I've said before, I'd agreed with the vast majority of what you'd posted.

Your death won't be in vain Natlaw. It's too bad you had to be a lover, as others have said, you were incredibly helpful.

And this is only his second game. He did phenomenal as a newbie in Evil Dead. As I said in the forbidden thread for that one, I hope he sticks around.

Well since you mention it, I'm curious... Roxis, was it the beer-goggles, or did you used to have a hot girl as your avatar before the cartoon-zombie-child thing whateveritssupposedtobe that you currently have? 'Cause I have to say, I much preferred the old one to the new one. This is the trouble with night-strategy, there's no time to just kick back and relax before we all go back into the usual business of trying to lynch each other... Roxis, what are you drinking? (And that goes for everyone else BTW... hell, considering we're finally two scum down, I'd be quite happy to buy everyone a virtual beer.)
