Congrats SCUM. Thanks for running this, ped.
I knew all the deaths in the early stages were going to hurt us in the long run. We didn't get any real datapoints until we were close to lylo.
Although, I agree with the sentiment that tying a kill mechanic to fluff is a bit underhanded.
But it was fun.

Pollux, I don't think the balance was that bad. What happened was it was a VERY bloody game, and basically every single extra kill was of a townie. The lynch record doesn't matter all that much in that situation, it was the NKs that wrecked Town. Actually Nanook, I'm going to have to disagree with you here. I actually think that games that are designed to be bloody favor scum heavily, unless there are multiple scum factions i.e. Pleonast's Conspiracy games. The basic tenet of mafia is town vs scum, and town have the numbers to their advantage and scum have (mostly) perfect information to their advantage. When a game is designed to be bloody, it tips the balance in favor of the scum, as scum will never purposefully hit other scum, always town or third-party. Town vigs are more likely to hit other town than scum based on numbers at first. Serial killers can hit either/or, depending on their mood, but unless they're trying to hit scum the percentages simply favor kills being more likely to hit town. Take a look at both this game and the Batman game, both games that were (I think) designed to be rather bloody with lots of Nightkills. While the Batman game didn't get as bloody as expected, the fact that town lynched non-town all but one of the Days and was STILL at lynch or lose at the end of the game, signals the fact that the scum had a heavy advantage. And in this one, if it was really possible for you guys to win on Day 5 after only two non-town mislynches...well. I mean, Nanook, think of the Cecilvania game, a balanced game with all vanilla players. We, as scum, had to get town to mislynch six times to win. You can't tell me a game where town lynches town only once or twice and still ends up in lylo is a game that doesn't favor scum at least a little bit. And for the record, if this... ...had happened, I probably would have outright said this was a gastard game. I don't think it should have been possible even in theory for the scum to kill all the non-scum masons on Night One. Maybe that's just me though. Now, am I saying this was a bad game? Hell no. Am I saying this wasn't a fun game? No way. Do I think the scum deserved the victory? Hell yes, you guys cleaned our clock, and I still enjoyed the game and had fun playing it. It's also only the second time I've been around for the endgame. But I do think this game was very similar to the Batman game in that it toed the line of Gastardity.
